“The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your Houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here,your House will be something like your family within Canterlot.You will have classes with the rest of your House, sleep in your House dormitory, and spend free time in your House common room.

“The four Houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw,
and Slytherin."

Gryffindor was the house of the braves
Hufflepuff the loyals
Ravenclaw the smart ones
and last but not least
Slytherin, The house of the cunning.
"Each House has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Canterlot, your triumphs will earn your House points, while any rulebreaking will lose House points. At the end of the year, the House with the most points is awarded the House cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever House becomes yours."
“The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front
of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as
much as you can while you are waiting.”

Noticing that everyone in the hall was now staring at the hat, she stared at it, too. For a few seconds, there was complete silence. Then the hat twitched. A rip near the brim opened wide like a mouth.
"When I read your name, You may come here so I can put the hat in your head. In order of the same be able to put you in your respective house."

"So it's just put the hat on? My mother said we're gonna need to make an hard test?!"
Applejack scream whispered to Twily.
"She most likely just wanted to scare you."
Twilight said, not being able to contain the almost silently giggle

Her friend was the first to be annouced.
She walked nervously to the hat, sit on, and Luna put the hat on her head.
"Oh.... Another Apple I see, Your loyalty to the ones you're close to is powerfull.... Great, an nice Hufflepuff you would make. Humble and an Hard-Worker. But... You stand up for the little guys. You have an huge courage, bravery and determination... I Know exactly what to do. You may follow your Family steps, GRYFFINDOR!"
The hat annouced, cheers were heard.
"DASH, RAINBOW!"
Just like her friend, RD walked nervously.
"Hmm..... Hard.... Really hard. You are proud of your appearence, likes to mantain an reputation. Just like the Slytherins... But just like your friend, you stand up for the littles, with an tendence to acts first and thinks later. But your loyalty to the closed ones.... You're by far one of the most loyal student to have ever landed your foot on Canterlot. That alone don't make any doubts.... HUFFLEPUFF!"
Anotherc cheers were heard. AJ looked sad to not be on the same house of RD, yet was still happy for her friend.
"FLUTTERSHY!"
Fluttershy was nervous too.... No.. Not nervous... scared...
"I have no doubts for you. You want to avoid attention, but have a love of the natural. There's no thing you don't know about it. RAVENCLAW!!!"
Fluttershy looked happy for being at said house.
"PINKIE PIE!"
"Hmm... Silly, funny, loyal... You love making friends don't you? May I help with that, I know just the house who also does.... HUFFLEPUFF!"
"RARITY!"
Rarity whispered for herself to be calm and went until the hat

Rarity moved away, and hugged Fluttershy, happy to be on the same house of her friend.
"SUNSET SHIMMER!"
Sunset walked, also nervous until the hat

"STARLIGHT GLIMMER!"

Trixie walked until the hat smugly.

That pony looked just as nervous as Fluttershy.

She heard somepony asked, Tempest definitely heard it too... as she lowered her head and looked even more nervous then before.

When her name was annouced, the world frozen, her heart started to beat faster. The once loud hall became silente in seconds.

"Well you're the hardest on the room by a mile..... What about.... SLYTHERIN!!!!"
The hat annouced, the room who was so silently. No noises were done, became even louder then it ever had been.
"WE HAVE TWILIGHT SPARKLE?!! WE HAVE TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!!"
Tempest screamed with an smile ear-to-ear. Twilight actually swore she might had been in Ravenclaw thought, maybe if she was raised under others conditions she might had been in it.
