The Rules
The rules came with our Hogwarts letter. But none of the teachers seemed to have any idea what it was. I showed it to professor McGonagall first day back at school that year...she read the letter and said it was not sent from school and then she made a really confusing face like she was hit by a Confundus Charm.
The rules were simple.
Don't tell anyone.
Only 7th years allowed.
The whole graduating class was weird but no one was talking about it but I had this feeling that everyone had got the letter. Everyone was aware of the game.
There are other things in the letters he said
If you're not going to play, you are invited to watch.
If you're playing you have until the end of September to submit your participation.
The Judges will send you instructions for the first challenge.
My letter came with another page. It was a judge's instructions page...It came with the a guide on how to set the challenges, how to avoid the teachers, how to set the game for next year's graduating class and all my responsibilities as a Judge. I was supposed to make it happen, it means I was putting all of my friends in danger.
I was sending all the people that made Hogwarts a home for me towards their death.
And boy how I wish I could've just refuse it.
But it was stronger than me. I made it happen. And it's the biggest regret of my life
