You Got It Bad
Jenna believes that I've got it bad for Kellin, though I don't think so. I'm just very captivated by the kid. Well, maybe I get what she means when she says I've got it bad for him, but I just can't help it. He's just so, how do I put it, pretty for a guy I guess, and just down right hot. I wouldn't mind testing out what he's like in bed - though, he's probably still a virgin.
Okay, maybe I do have it bad to some extent. But he's just so, amazing and-
"Yo, Vic!" Jenna says, waving her hand in front of my face, dragging me out of my thoughts on the Slytherin boy. "You zoned off again, mate." She sighs.
Sighing slightly, I shrug at her, causing her to roll her eyes at me. "You weren't even listening to what I just said were you?" She sighs.
I shake my head. "Not really, no." I say.
Honestly, I didn't even realize she was talking to me, I was too lost in my thoughts on a certain Slytherin boy, and damn, I need to hurry up and ask him to the Yule ball before Oli does, and if Oli asks him before I do, that will ruin the one chance I've got to tell Kellin how I feel towards him. I can't let Oli ask him before me.
Jenna sighs, shaking her head at me. "Tay just told me that she heard that Oli is planning on asking Kellin to the Yule ball soon." She says. "So you better hurry up if you want to ask Kellin to go with you to the ball."
She's right there. Oli will probably ask Kellin to the ball soon, and by the time I pluck up the courage to ask Kellin, he'll already be going with Oli. And Oli has much more chances to ask Kellin than I do, I mean, they're both in Slytherin house, while I'm over here in Gryffindor.
Suddenly I'm pulled up off the ground by none other than Jenna, and pushed over to Kellin, as he's sitting by himself under the shade of a tree reading a book. He looks up, getting distracted by Jenna and I, and watches us both curiously, before shaking his head slightly, a small smile on his lips as he gets back to reading his book.
"There he is, Victor." Jenna says, pushing me closer to the Slytherin boy. "Now's your chance to ask him. Go!" She pushes me over to him, causing me to have no choice but to walk over to him.
Sighing, I walk the rest of the way over to him, and he looks up at me, setting his book to the side, as I sit down next to him.
"What's up, Vic?" He asks, smiling at me.
"Nothing much." I shrug, looking over at him to see him blushing slightly.
He looks away from me, and plays round with his fingers. God damn, he's so adorable. Everything about him is adorable. How can one person be this cute and adorable? Did he take some potion to make him look this way? is that why I'm so captivated by him?
"Hey, Kellin." I start, not sure exactly how to ask him what I'm about to, but I'll give it a shot.
He looks over at me, curiosity written all over his face. If only he had an idea of what I'm about to ask him. I just hope he says yes.
"You know the Yule ball that's coming up soon?" I ask.
He nods, his face falling slightly as he realizes what I'm wanting to ask him, and he looks away from me, frowning slightly.
"I was uh, wondering if you wanted to go with me to the ball?" I ask.
Sighing, he looks back at me, a sad smile on his face. "Vic, I'd love to." He starts, before looking away from me. "But I already have to go with Oli." He sighs. "I'm sorry."
My face falls at that, but I try my best to hide my disappointment. Oli has already asked him. I've missed my chance with asking Kellin to the ball. Well that's disappointing, now I may have lost my only shot at telling him how I really feel about him, and that I would like him to be my boyfriend.
I nod, looking away from him. "Oh, okay." I say. "Cool."
He frowns slightly, moving a little closer to me and grabbing onto my hand with his. "I'm sorry, Vic." He apologizes. "It's just, Oli and I have been together for a couple years now, and he-" He stops, something seemingly crossing his mind.
Quickly, he lets go of my hand and gets up, grabbing his book as he does so, before looking down at me. "I'm sorry, Vic." He says. "I've got to go." And with that, he's running off to god knows where.
I sit there for awhile, trying to process what he just said. He and Oli are dating? And have been for a couple years now? How did I not know of this, or better yet, someone inform me of the fact that the boy that I've had a crush on since his first year at Hogwarts already has a boyfriend? Unless Oli and Kellin preferred to keep it a secret, and Kellin wasn't meant to tell me that he and Oli are a thing.
Sighing, I eventually get up and walk back over to Jenna, as she stood near the school castle watching me, and when she sees me walking back over to her, she runs over to me. Obviously she'll be hoping to hear some good news, but unfortunately that's not what she'll hear at all.
"So?" She asks, once I get over to her. "How'd it go?"
I shake my head. "He's going with his boyfriend Oli." I sigh, walking over to the school castle so I can go back to the Gryffindor common room.
"Wait, his boyfriend?!" I hear Jenna exclaim from behind me, before I hear her running to catch up with me.
But I don't say anything more as I head off to the Gryffindor common room, with Jenna by my side trying to get me to talk to her about this, but I'd rather not talk about it right now.
The one chance, and I missed it. Great, just great....
