Chapter 1
NICO'S POV
Being alone in a dark room was nothing Nico would ever say no to but like most things he couldn't have what he wanted because a woman stood before him. She was no stranger; he has seen her many times and has heard even more from his half-sister Hazel. Before the italian stood the goddess of magic and mist.
Not only was Nico in front of the goddess that controlled the power that made it possible for monsters to trick mortals and demigods into trusting them, but also he had no way of escaping his soon to come fate of being a demigod.
“Di Angelo, I assume you know what I want from you?”Hecate started the conversation. of course Nico knew why she was here with gods it is always the same.
“Yes” Nico answers. As always he was not the best talker but he was a demigod long enough to know gods want you to obey, no big talking is needed to do that. Another rule was that you never point out how much you hate them. You are only allowed to break these rules if you have saved the world and are named Percy. Nico wasn't named Percy that was why he shut his mouth.
“I have spoken with your father.”Of course she has and his father was ok with sending him another quest because something like ‘break’ was non-existent if you are a demigod.
“I hereby bless you with a new quest. In Great Britain in Schottland to be exact there is a school but not for mortels or demigods.a school called hogwarts. An academy for a magic human race called wizards.”
Nico was shocked, who wouldn't be when finding out that wizards are real. He knew that being next to a goddess he had to be quiet and obey but he also had to not be showing his shock or uncertainty.
“In this school there is a boy named Harry Potter. He was like many demigods foreseen to save the word in a prophecy. this prophecy has been fulfilled.”
Hecate stopt, waiting for Nico to understand this, even though he didn't show it a god could feel if someone did need a break to understand or to work with new information.
Nico was not really understanding why the gods needed him if the prophecy was fulfilled he would not be needed.
that was why he spoke up “what happened that a god like you has to ask for help?”
“Even if the right side has won, I fear that there is still corruption and because these wizards are a long line of my offspring.” she paused again.”I am prohibited from taking action myself but I am still allowed to send demigods.”
the reason why she chose him was a mystery Nico thought he would never solve but just one minute after he build this thought he was presented with an answer
“Di angelo, you are the demigod i send because you seem to be the most qualified to not give away your identity. which is important because the existence of gods is nothing that this human race has to know about. After all they were so slippery that there are mortels that have the assumption that there are wizards or have even the audacity to pretend that they are themself one.”
Nico just nodded. again just listening to the goddess, like she wants him to do.
“I will send other demigods as well but you will see which soon enough. Now di angelo, son of hades, will you accept this task i give you?”
a dry emotionless “yes” answered her question
