Another Joins
Research has been done. History has been watched. They are once again gathered to report. Lucifer waves his hand and a round table appears, everyone sits down but there is an empty seat.
“Looks like another will be joining us.” said Eros.
The group is talking quietly amongst themselves trying to think up who would be coming. One by one they quiet as they look into the distance and see a figure walking towards the group. They are whispering with each other again as no one recognizes the figure. It seems to be taking much longer than expected.
“Hello.” As the man sits down. The other mummer hi and hello. “I’m the god Brahma, and boy is Shiva angry. Kali is not too pleased either.”
“We have been watching, doing what we can to help avoid what you see below. We have been doing our own research and would like invite ourselves into actively joining your research. We watched Harry’s life at the Dursley’s and wanted to cast a Karma spell over the neighborhood. After our meeting, it was decided to help rescue your ones and twos and cast a Karma spell.”
“We’d like to cast a slight karma spell over everyone. Free will still exists, it’s just easier to learn that actions have consequences. Good ones and bad ones. We’d also like the karma spell to be a part of wizardary DNA and be stronger. They still have free will but they seem to be more hard-headed. Hopefully this will smack then on the back of the head and we can avoid this.” As he waves his hand at the earth. “We believe some will still need to die.”
“We don’t believe we can do as much as we’d like. Countries will still fight, people will still kill. Neighbors will still not be nice. We’ll rescue the ones and twos but will not be able to keep track of this all. A bullet that knocks out someone but misses everything important. A left instead of right. Slowing down for no reason. Giving someone a lift.”
“Here’s an example. There was an earthquake in Alaska of the United States. The earthquake caused a tsunami. A small fishing boat was positioned just right to go over the wave instead of being crushed by it. We had nothing to do with saving the boy and his father but we are gathering a team to search for instances like this and to step in if we can.”
