As the clock hit noon a teenager known as Harry Potter got off the bus somewhere in london. With nothing but a handful of golden coins and his backpack he makes his way to a small shop.
The shop keep looks up as the bell goes off signaling a customer
“Hey kid what are you doing in here and where are your parents?”
“My parents died when i was a baby, and i am here to buy a gun”
“ why do you need a gun?!? And how old are you ?”
“ 14 but i will be fifteen in a week. And i need the gun to kill the man who killed my parents”
As the conversation went on Bill, the shopkeep got more and more shocked, first this teenager walks in says he needs to buy a gun and his parents are dead, then he pulls out a handful of what seem to be solid gold coins to trade for said gun.
Needless to say Harry James Potter went home that afternoon left london with the gold gone and a handheld pistol.

“Dobby?”
Dobby the house elf appears in front of Him in an instant.
“Harry Potter sir calls for Dobby?”
“Yes hi Dobby i have a favor to ask you”
“What does Harry Potter sir need”
“Well I need you to go to malfoy manor and kill Voldemort for me.”
The small elf gasps
“ The great Harry Potter wants Dobby to kill voldymort for him??”
Harry rubs his neck. “ only if you want to that is”
“ Dobby would be honored to be the one to kill voldymort”
“Oh. Great! Here this is how i want you to kill him”
Harry gives dobby the gun who looks at the weapon in awe.
“Dobby will not disappoint Harry Potter Sir!”
And with that he disappears just as fast as he appeared.

A pop of apparation makes everyone look up, its a house elf one the malfoys recognize. Except he is wearing at least a dozen hats and mismatched socks.
“Dobby? What are you doing here” Narcissa Malfoy asks.
“Dobby has been sent here to fulfill a quest” The elf says
“Who would send a house elf on a quest?” The Dark Lord Voldemort demands
“Harry Potter sends his regards”
A gun goes of the bullet heading straight at voldemorts chest
He's dead within the hour.
The war is over before it even fully starts

Sirius eventually gets a trial and gets cleared, Harry moves in with him and Remus afterwards and everyone gets a happy ending! (Well except cedric RIP)
