The Cave
Tossing the cloak onto the chair and sighed. Pacing in the room before sitting down on the bed. Looking out the window, the curtains were mostly closed. Seeing the two Forsakens not at the beach anymore. Not caring where the other two went. Alessia just wanted Liandrin to be back already. Hearing a knock on the door, Alessia answered it. Seeing a red ajah she knew well.
“Alessia!” Tarna’s voice came as she hugged Alessia. Closing the door. “Are you alright?” Tarna asked as she was moving Alessia’s arms and what not around to check her.
“I am fine. Just a scar.” Alessia spoke as she showed her friend the scar on her hand.
“Liandrin told me you were here. That you got kidnapped. The Tower doesn’t know yet.” Tarna spoke as Alessia sighed.
“I want to go back.” Alessia frowned.
“Hopefully here in a moment once Liandrin gets back.” Tarna spoke.
“When will that be?” Alessia asked. Her question was answered as the door opened and closed.
“I see you found her.” Liandrin spoke while pulling Alessia into a hug after weaving air to keep the room silent from outside ears.
“I want to go back to the Tower.” Alessia as she returned the hug.
“We cannot tonight. Tomorrow. It’s too dangerous right now.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia sighed and sat back down on the bed.
“Where did Moghedien go?” Liandrin asked.
“Wait. The Forsaken?” Tarna asked as they nodded. “They are free?!” Tarna gasped.
“Yes, Alessia here freed one of them. The insanest one of them all.” Liandrin spoke.
“Why?” Tarna asked while crossing her arms.
“She called out to me for a very long time.” Alessia was trying to explain.
“That doesn’t mean you should have done that!” Tarna snapped. Alessia sighed and looked down.
“It doesn’t matter now. It was meant to happen anyways.” Liandrin spoke.
“What do you mean?” Tarna asked as she was now leaning against the wall.
“It was her destiny to do so. The Dark Lord promised her to Moghedien.” Liandrin spoke with a frown and sat down next to Alessia. She took the older woman’s hand into her own and kissed it. Seeing the Red Ajah smile softly at this.
“So, either way, it was meant to be?” Tarna asked.
“Yes. They are blood bound to each other.” Liandrin added in a weak voice. Tarna gasped and then there was silence.
“Now, you see. I don’t fully understand what that means.” Alessia spoke.
“It’s the Forbidden bond. The one you were asking about and no one told you.” Liandrin spoke as she was listening closely.
“No one told me, how was I supposed to know?” Alessia asked while still frowning.
“Maybe we should start answering questions when they ask.” Tarna suggested.
“I guess. But only ask sister Tarna or myself if you have questions about anything that may seem like it’s now allowed.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded her head.
“Teach me compulsion?” Alessia asked.
“Out of the question!” Tarna shouted with anger before she realized that Alessia was laughing and shaking her head.
“I was kidding. I do want to know what a blood bond is though.” Alessia spoke.
“It’s a bond stronger than a normal bond and can only be done once or twice. You are intertwining your souls together. Sharing each other’s powers. Extremely dangerous if not done correctly. You won’t be able to resist each other either.” Liandrin explained.
“I never consented to that. I don’t love her, I don’t even know her.” Alessia spoke.
“That’s not fair.” Tarna spoke as Alessia nodded in agreement.
“You’ll learn to love her in time. The bond gets stronger.” Liandrin spoke.
“I’m so sorry Liandrin.” Alessia spoke as she was holding her own cheeks to prevent her eyes from tearing up. Feeling an arm wrapped around her shoulders and pulled close. She leaned against the older woman.
“When you say ‘share our powers,’ what does that mean?” Alessia asked.
“Whoever is stronger, your other half matches in strength.” Liandrin spoke.
“I’m the Dragon! Does that mean she’s the most powerful as well?!” Alessia gasped as Liandrin nodded.
“Just about, yes. No wonder the Dark One wanted you two to bond!” Liandrin sighed.
“Wait. Wait.” Tarna spoke as they both looked at her.
“Alessia is the Dragon reborn?!” Tarna nearly shouted. Alessia and Liandrin both looked at each other before looking at Tarna and nodded. “I. Wow. We have a female dragon.” Tarna spoke with a smile.
“It’s not your fault. It was the Dark Lord’s doing and the Wheel’s.” Liandrin spoke with a sigh again. “I’m just going to have to deal with it.” The Red Ajah added.
“Not to mention, Lanfear is after me as well.” Alessia spoke softly.
“Wait. Lanfear is after you? Sheesh Alessia. You are heading down a dangerous road.” Tarna spoke.
“She’s right. Anyways, in the past, the former Dragon and Lanfear were lovers. It doesn’t surprise me that she’s going after Alessia at this age.” Liandrin spoke.
“Well, Lanfear didn’t die, maybe she still has feelings for the Dragon.” Tarna spoke while in thought.
“I am a completely different person than Lews.” Alessia spoke.
“Of course you are my love. He was a man. You are a woman. A beautiful one.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia poked Liandrin’s side as the woman jumped and chuckled a little.
“So, how are we doing this?” Tarna then asked while changing the subject as Liandrin gave her a questioning look.
“What do you mean?” Liandrin asked.
“When we take Alessia back to the Tower. I cannot lie.” Tarna spoke. Alessia hadn’t thought of that.
“Well, we can keep you out of it.” Liandrin spoke.
“What if they put her under the oath rod?” Tarna then asked.
“Let us pray that it doesn’t happen.” Liandrin added as Alessia nodded her head.
“In the meantime before we head back, how do I deal with Lanfear and Moghedien?” Alessia asked.
“Well, Moghedien doesn’t seem to be bothering you, but Lanfear. She is persistent.” Liandrin sighed.
“She keeps coming to me in my dreams as well.” Alessia added.
“There’s got to be a way to protect her from her dreams.” Tarna spoke.
“Well, maybe Moghedien can help?” Alessia suggested.
“What do you mean?” Liandrin asked while looking at her. Her arm is still around her shoulders.
“I read about them in the book from the library. Moghedien is the master of the Tel’aran’rhiod.” Alessia spoke.
“You ask her to help you, she will want something in return.” Tarna warned.
“So, I am just supposed to let Lanfear keep coming at me?” Alessia asked with a frown.
“No. Unless you surrender yourself to her as well.” Tarna spoke. Alessia shook her head at this.
“There is no love in that woman.” Alessia spoke as she crossed her arms at this.
“I wouldn’t be so sure.” Liandrin then spoke. She looked at her lover. “Lanfear loved the Dragon more than the Dark One back then. She turned to the Dark One because Lews fell in love with someone else.” Liandrin explained.
“I thought she loved power more than anything.” Tarna spoke. Seeing the confused look on her face.
“She did. Until she had a taste of love.” Liandrin spoke while rolling her eyes at this.
“Hmm.” Alessia thought before sighing again. She didn’t know what she was going to do now between them. “Why is it too dangerous to leave tonight?” Alessia asked.
“The Forsakens are on a warpath right now. After being sealed away for thousands of years. Best to stay inside for tonight.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded her head to show that she understood. There was another knock on the door as Liandrin sighed at this. Tarna answered this time. There stood a tall woman wearing black and white.
“Lady Lanfear.” Liandrin spoke with a bow when she stood up.
“Ishamael wants you at the meeting. Now.” Lanfear spoke.
“Grab your cloak.” Liandrin instructed Alessia who stood up.
“Uh. Uh. Only you. She is not to be there.” Lanfear spoke.
“Fine. Do not leave.” Liandrin spoke to Alessia who nodded her head lightly. Seeing Lanfear take her leave as Liandrin then spoke to Tarna. “Get back to the Tower. Say nothing of what you saw.” Tarna nodded as well and grabbed her red cloak to follow out. Alessia was now alone and sighed. Sitting on the bed while looking around the room. She did not want to be alone. Looking out of the window again. Something was calling her. Tugging inside of her. A pulling like feeling. She knew she had to go. It seemed the town was now deserted at the moment. Alessia grabbed Liandrin's black cloak and left the room. Putting the hood up as she headed down the stairs. Seeing the tavern was completely empty now. Not even the bartender was there. Shrugging at this as she made her way outside. Wanting to see the ocean again. Hearing her boots against the dirt as she made her way out of the town again.
Her eyes were closed as the wind was softly blowing. She could feel it go through her hair. She smiled softly before sighing. Looking back out. She could see a single ship in the distance. It seemed like it was on a trade route. She still had no idea where she was. She felt a shiver down her back and she looked around and saw a black shadow standing not far behind her. Hearing the waves crash against the shore as it walked closer. Then it was a human figure.
“What are you doing out here by yourself dearie?” It was a man’s voice.
“Stay away.” Alessia spoke. Only hearing a laugh. He moved closer. Alessia began to channel. “I said stay away!” Alessia spoke.
“Come on dear. I’m here. You’re here.” He spoke. Alessia was confused about what he was saying. “I mean you are denying the bond so, I have the perfect chance to take you.” He smiled. Alessia heard something in the back of her head that this was not a safe situation.
“Back off!” Alessia warned him. His smile was creepy. It sent warning chills through her body. He then moved quickly. Alessia weaved fire and air. Not knowing where she got the fire from but she was not questioning it right now. Her arms were flung forward. Hearing a loud yelp as the man was sent flying to the other side from where she was. She did not take the chance to see if he would come back. She turned on her heels and ran. Running as fast and hard as she could against the sand. It was slowing her down but she kept at it. She stopped and looked around. She was near a cliff and there was a cave inside of it. The tugging was much stronger now. She could feel her body pushing her to go towards it. She stopped herself from doing so at the moment. She looked behind her to see the man was following her. She frowned at this. She looked around again. She decided to take her chance. Turning back towards the cave. Seeing the entrance was large enough for her to fit through. She wrapped the cloak around tightly and entered the cave. Weaving a small ball of light in the palm of her hand while looking around. There was moisture in the air. The cave walls were wet. There were spider webs all over the walls and the ceiling. Hearing a voice as the man called into the cave again. Alessia moved more into the cave. Coming into a rather large room. It was dim inside. Then she felt a sudden rush of air and a hard surface. She was thrown against the wall and put there. Alessia cried out and struggled.
“Softly softly from the shadows.” A soft raspy voice spoke out. Seeing a shadow figure slowly come out of the darkest part of the cave. Moghedien had come up towards her. “I caught someone.” She spoke slowly. Leaning in as she inhaled Alessia’s scent.
“Lillen.” Alessia spoke softly.
“Hello love.” Moghedien spoke as another pair of footsteps came into the center of the cave.
“Ah, thank you Moghedien for catching my prey. Now hand her over.” The man spoke.
“Your prey?” Moghedien asked.
“That’s right. Now be a good dear, and hand her over.” The man spoke.
“You think she is prey?” Lillen asked.
“Yes, she is mine. She has been denying the bond.” The man spoke as he smirked again. Lillen only moved her fingers as the man was sent flying across the cave. Hearing a loud thud and grunt. He turned to lay on his back.
“You women really need to learn to control your feelings.” He spoke with a laugh.
“Why do you deny our bond?” Moghedien then asked as she turned her attention back to Alessia. She could feel the stickiness of the silk web.
“I don’t understand.” Alessia replied.
“We are bonded. Deny it and we will both be miserable.” Lillen spoke as she moved her fingers again. Alessia felt a chill go around the room. Seeing the man standing up while laughing. Hearing it echo through the cave.
“I don’t know how.” Alessia whispered.
“But you do.” Lillen’s voice rasped as she closed her eyes. Her head was tilted a little to the side. She could see the Forsaken was weaving. Her weaves were now surrounding Alessia. Alessia closed her eyes and inhaled. Then she felt it. She could feel the overwhelming sensation as she opened herself up to the Forsaken. Her eyes opened as she could see the dark cave almost clear as day.
“What have you done?” The man asked as he was standing up now. Cowering against the cave. Alessia felt the webbing release her as she fell from the wall. Landing on her feet. She was weaving as well but her weaves were linked with Lillen’s.
“You shouldn’t have done that.” Moghedien spoke in a sing-song-like voice as she only flicked her hand. Alessia gasped as she saw the man explode from the inside out. Covering her face as the man's body pieces were all over nearby them.
“Was that necessary?” Alessia asked as she flicked off the pieces and nearly gagged at this.
“Yes. He would not stop. I could see it in his mind.” Lillen spoke softly and sighed. She waved her hand again as the pieces were burned. Turned to ash. Alessia felt wind against her as she looked at her clothes. They were clean.
“How did you do?” Alessia began. Lillen stopped her by kissing her. She did not pull away but only pressed in. She could feel everything the Forsaken was feeling. She gasped and pulled back. Covering her mouth only to see a smirk upon the older woman’s face.
“You accepted it.” Moghedien spoke as she was walking towards the end of the cave. Alessia followed.
“How is it that I can see so perfectly in the dark?” Alessia asked in a whisper.
“We share powers. I specialized in spiders. Poisons.” Lillen spoke as she moved her hand up. Alessia heard creaking and web stretching as she looked up and gasped. There was a man being hung by several webs like she just was.
“Who?” Alessia began.
“A child of the Light is what he called himself.” Lillen spoke as she bent over sideways. Looking up at her. Alessia could see that the man looked dead.
“Is he?” Alessia asked.
“No. Soulless.” Lillen replied. “He turned against his oaths. Lost his soul.” She spoke as she was circling the man. Alessia took a step back and sighed.
“If you turn from your oaths, you get turned into this?” Alessia asked in a whisper.
“Men do, yes.” Moghedien replied as she waved her hand. All the webbing disappeared at once. Hearing the gray man land on his feet. She took a step back again. “He won’t hurt you. He can’t.” Lillen spoke. Alessia raised a brow at the woman. “I created him. My creations will never harm you. Because you are mine.” She spoke slowly as Alessia nodded. “Find her.” Lillen then spoke. Seeing the gray man leave as if he disappeared. It shocked her as Alessia ended up tripping backwards. Grunting as she leaned up a little only to see Lillen on her knees next to her. Leaning over. The blackened figures tracing her cheek.
“Why aren’t you at the meeting?” Alessia asked.
“Because I do not waste my time with such things.” Moghedien replied. The blackened thumb was now tracing her bottom lip. “You’re mine now.” Moghedien then spoke softly. Alessia couldn’t break eye contact before leaning in. Kissing the Forsaken again.
She had a book in her hands as she was now leaning against the wall. Lillen was sitting on the edge of the bed near her. Looking around.
“Could you teach me things?” Alessia asked all of a sudden.
“I can.” Lillen spoke as she was weaving something in her hands.
“I was told to hold back while learning at the Tower.” Alessia spoke. Lillen stopped what she was doing and looked at her. It was a look she did not know.
“Why?” She asked.
“Liandrin Sedai said it was to not bring attention to myself. Others don’t know about my identity. Keeping up perfectly will raise questions.” Alessia replied.
“That you are the Dragon?” Lillen asked as Alessia nodded her head at this. “I do not like it. I will teach you things that I know. Just between us.” Lille added as Alessia nodded her head at this.
“Can you show me how you did the shielding?” Alessia asked. The Forsaken nodded her head in time as the door opened. Liandrin had walked in and closed the door. Leaning against it as she sighed. Alessia stood up and walked over. Resting her hand upon the woman in red’s hip. The light blue eyes found hers as her cheeks were cupped.
“What happened?” Liandrin asked as she spotted Moghedien.
“I had an adventure.” Alessia spoke.
“Are you ever going to do what I asked?” Liandrin asked. Crossing her arms.
“I called her.” Lillen then spoke up.
“That was you?” Alessia asked.
“Told you. We cannot resist each other.” Moghedien replied. There were a few sighs going on as Alessia sat back down on the bed. Liandrin sat next to her as Lillen was leaning against the wall.
“We are going back tonight.” Liandrin then spoke as she broke the silence. Alessia nodded her head and stood up. Gathering her and Liandrin’s things rather quickly.
“Must you take her away from me?” Lillen then asked. The sound in her voice. It broke her heart. She hated how she was so attached to the Forsaken already.
“You can come as well. You have to stay hidden in the city.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia could feel the excitement from Moghedien. “I have a place rented out. You can stay there.” Liandrin added.
“So, I think they will not let me out of the Tower for a while.” Alessia spoke.
“They cannot keep you locked up forever.” Liandrin then spoke.
“Go. I will meet you both at the gate.” Lillen spoke. She disappeared into black smoke as Alessia gasped.
“I want to learn that.” Alessia spoke.
“Come.” Liandrin spoke as she grabbed the bag and handed it to Alessia who nodded. All of their things were in the bag.
“What’s the story?” Alessia asked as she followed Liandrin out of the room. She was happy to be leaving now. “Does Lanfear know about this?” Alessia then asked. Seeing the moon half way up now.
“No. I do not trust her. Or any of them as well.” Liandrin spoke as she was leading Alessia down the road again. Seeing a shadow figure waiting for them at the gate.
“What about her?” Alessia asked.
“I have no choice.” Liandrin spoke. There was coldness in her tone. Alessia took the older woman’s hand and stopped. Seeing Liandrin look back at her.
“My heart is yours. No matter what.” Alessia spoke softly. This made the older woman smile and cup her cheek.
“I know. I have no choice but to share. It is the Dark One’s wish.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia frowned at this. Looking down only for her chin to be grabbed as she looked back into the light blue eyes. Their lips met. Alessia smiled into the kiss. Feeling the warm sensation in her stomach as the butterflies were at it again. Hearing a throat clear as they pulled back.
“Sorry, does it bother you?” Liandrin asked as they both looked at the shadow figure who was Lillen. They were now standing in front of the gate.
“No. Hurry up.” Lillen spoke. Alessia stepped forward and began to weave.
“You know how to open the gate?” Liandrin asked.
“Moiraine Sedai taught me.” Alessia spoke as she tied her weaves together. Opening the gate. Watching it slowly open.
The thunder was heard in the distance as she could see the flashes of lightning around them. It was the only sound she could hear other than their footsteps against the crystalized floor. Alessia felt nervous. She hated going through the ways.
“Why not just teleport us?” Moghedien’s voice then came from the silence.
“I do not know how and neither does she. You do not know the way to Tar Valon yet.” Liandrin explained. Lillen sighed. She sounded annoyed. “Hey.” Liandrin then spoke. Alessia stopped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. Her eyes met the light blue ones. “It’s going to be alright.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded her head at this.
“You still haven’t told me the story.” Alessia replied.
“Story?” Lillen asked. “I do not understand.” She added.
“Lanfear and Ishamael kidnapped her.” Liandrin spoke as she stopped. “We rest here for now.” She added. Alessia sighed in relief and found a spot to sit down at. It seemed Liandrin had her mind on other things than resting.
“You need to rest as well.” Alessia spoke lightly. Liandrin looked at her before nodding. Setting the torch down as she sat next to Alessia. Lillen claimed the spot on her other side. She could feel the closeness of both women on either side of her.
“Well?” Alessia asked. She was still unsure about it.
“Tell them the truth.” Liandrin spoke.
“You will be stilled.” Alessia frowned at this.
“Tell them the truth on how you got there. Then.” Liandrin began. “When you have the chance. You escaped. I found you in the town I was hunting a male channeler.” Liandrin explained as Alessia nodded.
“Which town?” Alessia then asked. “So when they question me, our stories will match.” Alessia spoke. Liandrin smiled at her before wrapping her arm around Alessia’s shoulder. Lillen however made herself comfortable and laid her head on Alessia’s lap. Her hand automatically rested upon Lillen’s side. Her head resting against the Red Ajah’s shoulder.
“Aringill.” Liandrin then spoke.
“I’ll say I escaped and wandered in the dark. Not knowing where I was and ran into the town.” Alessia spoke as Liandrin nodded. “Made me change to hide me from the public eye.” Alessia added. Her Accepted dress however was gone. She had no idea where it went.
“Where were we though?” Alessia then asked.
“I cannot tell you. For your safety and mine.” Liandrin added. She understood this. Alessia found herself caressing Lillen’s cheek with her fingertips. Her free hand took Liandrin’s. “We should get going.” Liandrin then spoke. She gently patted Moghedien’s cheek as the woman sat up quickly.
“I heard.” She spoke. Grabbing her bag before standing up. Alessia was the last one to stand up and grabbed Liandrin’s bag before following in silence. Lillen was behind her as Liandrin in front. She was in the middle. Seeing a gate ahead of them.
“We are here.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia quickly walked forward and began to channel. She grabbed the source so fast, she only waved her hand as the gate opened.
“You are getting stronger, my little dragon.” Liandrin spoke with a smile. She returned the smile before following out. Looking up as it was still night. Feeling the wind against her as she turned and channeled. Hearing the wind in the distance as she managed to get the gate close before then.
“Is that?” Moghedien asked while nodding in a direction. Alessia followed her line of sight and sighed in relief again. She felt excited to be heading back to the Tower.
“Calm down love. We will get there.” Liandrin spoke as Alessia nodded her head.
“It’s home.” Alessia spoke with a smile.
“Is it?” Moghedien asked as she nodded her head again before grabbing both Lillen's and Liandrin’s hands to pull them with her.
“What are we waiting for?” Alessia asked.
“Slow down. You are supposed to be tired and worn out.” Liandrin reminded her. She had forgotten already.
“Seeing the Tower gave me new energy.” Alessia spoke. Wanting to be behind the walls again.
“Let me take you and her to the place I am renting so she is safe as well.” Liandrin spoke.
“I didn’t think you care.” Lillen spoke with a smirk.
“Anything happens to you, happens to her. Same with the other way around.” Liandrin spoke.
“Nothing happens to you either.” Alessia added. Seeing Liandrin smile and pat her cheek before taking the lead again down the pathway that had many feet tread on it. She felt her hand taken. Seeing the blacked fingers intertwined with her own. She felt a rush of butterflies in her stomach before looking straight ahead now. She had a weak smile curving at the corner of her mouth. She was trying to fight it.
“I can feel that. Stop resisting.” Lillen spoke softly to her. Alessia closed her eyes as her feet were still moving and took a deep breath before nodding.
“I don’t know how to do this bond thing.” Alessia confessed. Her eyes opened back up as she was watching Liandrin from behind. She couldn’t help but smile as her thoughts filled with the woman.
“We’ll figure it out. I want that as well.” Lillen stopped as did she. Alessia’s eyes found the dark ones as she gave the Forsaken a curious look. “What you have with her.” Lillen spoke.
“Well, if what you say is true, we’ll have it. In time.” Alessia spoke as she gently pulled Moghedien with her. Catching up to Liandrin who was now looking behind her to make sure they were catching up.
“We are almost there. Hoods up.” Liandrin spoke as they nodded. Alessia let go of Lillen’s hand as she grabbed the cloak’s hood and put it up. She could hear the scattered voices of the cityfolk as many were still awake.
“Not far now.” Liandrin’s voice carried over the others as Alessia nodded. She grabbed Lillen’s hand again as they picked up their pace.
“Why are people out?” Alessia asked.
“The Tower is on lockdown. We heard there was an Accepted that got kidnapped while out with sisters.” A man spoke as Alessia nodded.
“So, they already know.” Alessia spoke as they made their way down the street. Alessia could feel her heart pounding as they kept up their pace.
“Inside.” Liandrin spoke as she held the door open. Lillen followed quickly after. Seeing it was empty inside the place except for one room. She knew Liandrin’s son was in that room. They could hear the loud breathing. He didn’t sound like he was in pain right now but she knew he would be when he woke up. It was one of Liandrin’s biggest secrets and she was going to take that to her grave. The door was closed. “This way.” Liandrin spoke as she led them down a hallway and into an empty room. “Wait here.” Liandrin spoke before quickly taking her leave. Once the woman in red was out of sight, Alessia was pushed against the wall. Confused at the sudden movement, she tried escaping only to be held against the wall. She could smell some of the dust that was floating around in the room. She rubbed her nose to keep her from sneezing before struggling against Moghedien again.
“Stop struggling.” Moghedien ordered. Alessia then stopped. Feeling a hand against her chest before feeling the Forsaken’s forehead against her own. She closed her eyes and just felt. Her heart stopped racing. Everything around her went silent. She felt calm. Safe now.
“How did you do?” Alessia asked in a whisper before she was cut off by a kiss. She pressed in for more. She now had that warm fuzzy feeling inside again.
“There you go.” Lillen whispered back. Smiling as she was tracing a finger down her jawline. Alessia felt a shiver and blushed. Looking away only to be forced to look back at the Forsaken. There was movement in the hallway again. Liandrin had reappeared.
“Moghedien, your room is through here.” Liandrin spoke as she opened a door on the other side of them. It was dark inside. A single bed, desk with a mirror, and a chair by the desk. There was also a wardrobe. It looked small in the room.
“Thank you.” Lillen spoke while looking around the room.
“Of course. I am taking her back to the Tower. We need to be quick.” Liandrin then added. Alessia nodded and grabbed the bag again only to feel her shoulder touched. She turned in time to meet a pair of lips again. Lillen was getting pretty confident right now. Alessia returned it before pulling back. Sliding her arms around Lillen’s middle to hug her. Feeling it was returned tightly. “You can see her whenever you want. Right now, we need to go.” Liandrin cleared her throat.
“Stay safe.” Alessia spoke. Lillen only nodded. Her finger against her own lips before walking back into the room. Alessia turned and followed Liandrin back out into the city. She felt nervous again. Feeling her hand taken by Liandrin as she was feeling reassurance from the older woman. Alessia smiled weakly at the older woman as they made their way back towards the White Tower.
Alessia kept her silence as they had finally entered the Tower. Hearing several sisters that were still awake at this late hour. Then she finally spoke.
“Do you think I will be safe here now?” Alessia asked.
“Nowhere is safe. Not anymore.” Liandrin spoke. She was right.
