Reds

The White Tower. It was there right in front of her. She was smiling while staring at it. In all its glory as it shone against the sun during the day. She could only imagine what it looked like at night.
“We’ll never get there with you gawking like that.” Moiraine’s voice came as Alessia pulled onto the reins on the horse as she was now riding next to the blue ajah. Smiling non stop. “Someone is rather happy to see it.” Moiraine added.
“You have no idea. I’ve dreamt of the Tower for many years.” Alessia spoke. Ever since she was little, she had no idea why she did and now she did know. It was her time to go to it.
“Well, now you can know all about it.” Lan spoke as he was chuckling at Alessia’s expression. She rolled her eyes with a smile before they stopped at a crossing. A bridge. It was being lowered for them to cross.
“The Aes Sedai return!” A guard shouted. Alessia felt goosebumps as they were now crossing. She was looking around, not wanting to miss any sights.
“They’re back!” A woman shouted. Alessia could see a crowd was gathering.
“Look! New young ladies! Are they new Novices?” A girl asked. Alessia smiled at the girl who was in awe at seeing them. ‘Was this what it felt like to be around people who liked the Aes Sedai?’ Alessia had asked herself. Then she heard several gasps. One woman burst into sobs. She knew. Stephin had arrived with an empty horse. Kerene’s boots were tied to it. To show she had fallen in battle. She could feel the heavy feelings around her again. Many were silent again.
“Nynaeve, Alessia. Come.” Moiraine’s voice came as she followed the woman in blue as they made their way ahead of the crowd and line.
“Where are we going?” Nynaeve asked as they pulled up to an entrance with other horses. Alessia dismounted her horse and saw a Novice coming up to take the reins from them.
“My sisters are going to parade the false dragon here soon. I want to take you both to a room.” Moiraine spoke as they both nodded. Following the woman in blue without question. Alessia looked behind her to see Liandrin watching them. She had a suspicious look upon her face. Turning back as Alessia gasped. Looking all around her as she finally see inside of the Tower. Stone white as marble. Statues everywhere and vases with flowers upon desks lined the walls. Pictures. Tapestries. She could feel the energy all around her. As if she was meant to be here. Nynaeve was also looking around. Alessia had stopped and looked over the edge in the center. There was a garden with a fountain. The water was clear against the sun. Seeing a woman in gray teaching a class as they were weaving. Alessia felt her heart swell at the sight. She couldn’t wait to get started as well. She was hoping that Moiraine would allow her to get started. She had only got to learn a few simple weaves from that woman. Tarna however taught her more and she was itching to get started. Feeling a hand upon her shoulder as she looked up. Seeing Moiraine pulling her with.
“Sorry. Got distracted.” Alessia spoke with a smile.
“Here are the warder's quarters where you will be safe.” Moiraine spoke.
“Safe from who?” Alessia asked as she set her bag onto the bed.
“From the sisters we traveled with.” Moiraine spoke.
“I don’t think they mean any harm?” Alessia asked as Moiraine gave her a cold look.
“Where are my friends?” Nynaeve then asked.
“I have eyes and ears at every wall. Every entrance and tower. If they are here, I will know.” Moiraine spoke.
“You will tell me?” Nynaeve asked. Moiraine only gave her silence. So, it was true what Liandrin had told her. The blue were secret keepers.
“When the Amyrlin arrives we can.” Moiraine began as she was cut off.
“I do not care about the Amyrlin or your Tower politics.” Nyaneve spoke loudly. Alessia felt small at this moment. She did not want to get into this crossfire. Moiraine walked closer to Nynaeve. You could feel the tension between the two.
“My sisters have honed their strengths and masked their weaknesses for decades and as strong as you are, my sisters will sense you and they will. When they do, they will expect both of you two to become Novices. These Tower politics will eat you alive.” Moiraine warned them.
“I want to get started.” Alessia then interjected.
“Not yet.” Moiraine spoke. She felt defeated again.
“If we are as powerful as you saw we are, then maybe it’s you Aes Sedai should worry about us.” Nyaneve spoke.
“Hey, you said it, not me.” Alessia spoke. Moiraine had turned and went to the door.
“When your friends come. I will tell you.” Moiraine then added before taking her leave.

Nynaeve sighed and sat on the bed. Alessia went over to the window and opened it. Letting in the sun. Hearing shouts and other voices as she looked out. It seemed the crowd was gathering again. Alessia turned to dash out.
“Where are you going?” Nynaeve asked.
“I’m going to go explore.” Alessia spoke.
“She told us to stay put.” Nynaeve added.
“You stay then. I’m not a caged bird.” Alessia spoke. Seeing her friend sigh and take a turn elsewhere. Alessia on the other hand wanted to watch. She dashed down the hall again before stopping. Seeing a red she had never seen before.
“Who are you?” She asked as she caught Alessia. The red ajah walked up to her. Alessia gave her a bow.
“Alessia Solstice.” Alessia spoke softly. Looking back at the red. She had a kind face to her. She was a little taller than her. Her dark skin was beautiful against the red color of her clothes. Though her chest was on full display, Alessia had to fight herself from staring.
“There you are.” Tarna’s voice came. Alessia smiled at her.
“You know this girl?” The woman asked.
“Yes, this young lady is Alessia. She will become a Novice here soon.” Tarna spoke as the woman smiled at her.
“I welcome you then daughter Alessia.” The woman spoke.
“Alessia, this is Tsutama Rath. Our Highest for the red ajah.” Tarna introduced her. Alessia gasped with a smile.
“It is an honor, Tsutama Sedai.” Alessia spoke with a bow.
“I think she will fit in well.” Tstuama spoke as she placed a hand upon Alessia’s shoulder. “Why is she here and not with the other Novices?” Tstuama then asked.
“She is going to sign her name here soon, right?” Tarna asked. Alessia nodded her head.
“What’s going on here?” A more femme voice came. A tall skinny woman with long black hair that was up in a bun. Dark hard eyes and a plump mouth came into view. Alessia smiled at the woman and gave her a bow as well. Those dark eyes fell upon her.
“My. Isn’t she a beauty.” The woman spoke with a smile.
“Galina Sedai. I was just taking her to see the parade of the false dragon. I know she did not want to miss that.” Tarna spoke. Alessia had come to realize that the Tower was full of beautiful women.
“This is Galina Sedai. She was our Highest but stepped down.” Tarna introduced her. Alessia gave the woman a bow.
“She knows her place. Tell me dear. Have you thought about which ajah you want to join? I think red is good for you.” Galina spoke as she placed a hand on her hip. Watching her.
“Truthfully, I have not, Galina Sedai.” Alessia spoke. Hearing a bell ring across the Tower as Tarna smiled and pulled Alessia with her. She waved her goodbye to the two reds she had met and followed Tarna down another hallway and down several flights. They had exited the Tower and stood near the crowd.

“What’s going on?” Alessia asked Tarna who was smiling.
“They are going to parade the false dragon.” Tarna replied as they were given a few radishes. Wondering why before looking up.
“The False Dragon!” A male’s voice shouted as drumming began. The crowd began to boo and throw food at him. Now she knew why they were handed radishes. “This is a murderer!” The male shouted again. There was more jeering at this. The wagon was slowly making its way to the Tower. She saw Logain on his knees and chained. They locked eyes. He raised his hand and pointed at her. Laughing. It made her uneasy at this. Alessia’s eyes then caught Liandrin’s. The woman had this look on her face. Proud and confident. Alessia couldn’t help but feel awe at the red ajah. She didn’t even notice Liandrin getting hit with a radish. There were a few gasps but the red just brushed it off.
“You’re drooling.” Tarna spoke as Alessia jumped and shook her head.
“What?” She asked.
“I see the way you look at her.” Tarna was smirking at Alessia.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Alessia rolled her eyes as her red friend laughed before guiding her back to the entrance they came from.
“I have to ask.” Alessia began as they were now inside a hallway, making their way to the garden. “How is Jane?” Alessia asked. Tarna smiled and nodded in a direction. She turned and saw a woman in a white dress and gray apron. It was Jane.
“Alessia?” Jane asked as Alessia smiled. She quickly walked up to her friend and hugged her. It was returned tightly. “How are you here?” Jane asked. Alessia then frowned. “What is it? What happened?” Jane asked.
“We should sit down.” Alessia spoke. Jane nodded and linked their arms before guiding her to an empty room. Tarna had joined them. Leaning against the doorframe.
“Well? How is your father?” Jane then asked.
“I do not know.” Alessia frowned again.
“Then tell me. What happened?” Jane then asked.
“Months after you left with the red ajah, the town was attacked.” Alessia spoke with a sigh.
“By whom?!” Jane nearly shouted.
“I do not know. They came with ships. Some of these women had collars. They were our age and some older. The guards had beetle-like armor.” Alessia was describing.
“The Seanchan.” Tarna then spoke. They both looked at her with a confused look. “They have been trying to invade lands. They take women with the spark and collar them for their use. They turn women like us into slaves to do their bidding.” Tarna spoke. There was a hatred tone in her voice. Alessia was saddened by this.
“My father told me to leave. To run.” Alessia spoke.
“That’s when you ran into Moiraine?” Tarna asked as Alessia nodded.
“How can the Light allow this to happen?” Alessia asked.
“Do not talk like that!” Jane hissed softly.
“It’s alright. She is not a Novice yet but be warned. You cannot question the Light and its doings.” Tarna warned her. She nodded.
“Wait, you are to become a Novice?” Jane asked as Alessia nodded.
“I want to be an Aes Sedai. After everything I saw happened. How could I not?” She asked. Hearing a bell as night had fallen.
“It’s dinner time. Come.” Tarna spoke.
“I should probably head back before Moiraine Sedai finds me out and about.” Alessia spoke. Tarna nodded her head.
“Where is she keeping you?” The woman in red asked.
“I’m not supposed to say.” Alessia answered. This had given her a suspicious look.
“Very well. Best to head back then.” Tarna spoke. Alessia nodded again. Turning back to her friend. Hugging her again.
“I missed you, you know.” Jane spoke.
“I missed you too.” Alessia smiled. Taking her friend’s hands into her own and squeezed them.
“Come daughter Jane. Let’s get you to the dining hall.” Tarna spoke. Jane nodded this time.
“Don’t want to keep Melinda Sedai waiting.” Tarna added with a smirk.
“Melinda Sedai?” Alessia asked. Jane gasped.
“Oh! I cannot wait to introduce you both!” Jane spoke.
“Not now. Head back before you are missed.” Tarna spoke. Alessia nodded her head and quickly turned to leave. She stopped and looked around. She was lost. She had no idea where she was. She felt embarrassed.
“You lost?” The familiar femme voice came. She looked and saw Galina walking up towards her.
“Yes. I um.” Alessia began as she was looking around.
“Come with me dear.” Galina spoke while smiling still. Alessia nodded her head and felt an arm wrap around her shoulder as she was walking with the woman in red. Not knowing where she was being led to.

Seeing several reds sitting in what seemed to be a common room as many were chatting. She saw Liandrin speaking to Tarna as she was then pulled into another room. She was now in a private room.
“Where am I?” She asked while looking around. It was a large room. Red bedspread. Curtains red. Pillows. Everything to represent a red ajah. She felt a gentle push against the wall. Galina was cupping her cheek. There was a smirk on her face. Alessia blushed at the closeness.
“Have dinner with me hmm?” She asked as there was a knock on the door. A Novice was standing in the door and handed the red ajah two plates. Alessia was looking around the room again. The window was opened while she sat down at the table. The plate was set in front of her. There were potatoes, vegetables and a small amount of meat on the plate.
“Thank you.” Alessia spoke softly.
“Eat my dear. You will need your strength.” Galina spoke.
“My strength?” Alessia asked as she took a drink.
“You are going to keep me company tonight and I’ll take you to sign your name.” Galina spoke as she began to eat. Alessia was unsure about this. Knowing full well that Moiraine was going to be looking for her now.
“I should tell Moiraine Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“Why? She doesn’t own you.” Galina spoke. Alessia gulped at the tone of her voice. The woman was watching her like a hawk now. She felt uneasy.
“Can I at least get a change of clothes?” Alessia asked.
“You can use one of my gowns for sleep.” Galina spoke. Alessia felt defeated at this. She did not know what this woman’s intention was and for some reason, it made her more alert.
“Can I at least say goodnight to my friend?” Alessia asked as Galina sighed.
“You ask a lot of questions my dear. Finish eating and make it quick.” Galina spoke as Alessia nodded her head. She quickly ate her food and stood up. As did the red ajah. Feeling the woman pull her close by the waist and her cheek traced by a long finger nail that was painted red.
“You come back to me, little one. I mean. Straight back.” Galina spoke. Alessia was now unsure if she wanted to or not. She was then let go. Alessia felt her heart racing as she made a break for the door. She went down the hall and stopped. More red ajahs were in the hallway. It went silent as they stopped talking. Eyes all looking in her direction.
“Who is that?” A voice spoke. Alessia gulped before taking a step back. Liandrin and Tarna pushed their way through. Alessia turned on her heels and ran.
“Alessia!” Liandrin’s voice came. She did not stop. Afraid that another red was going to take her. She skidded down another hall and made her way down a flight of steps. She crashed into someone and fell backwards.

“There you are! Moiraine is looking for you everywhere.” Lan spoke as he helped Alessia stand up. The moon was getting high in the night sky.
“Sorry. I got lost.” Alessia spoke with a frown.
“Come.” Lan spoke as Alessia nodded and followed Lan down another hallway. Now the area was starting to look familiar. She sighed in relief as she heard two voices having a go at each other. Lan opened the door. They both went silent as they saw Alessia.
“Where were you?” Moiraine demanded.
“I’m sorry. Tarna Sedai took me to see the parade and I got lost.” Alessia spoke with a frown. She was then pushed into the room by Lan.
“You watched them parade the false dragon?” Nynaeve asked as Alessia nodded.
“Yes. You were offered to go as well.” Alessia spoke. Moiraine was looking at both of them before sighing.
“Stay put. Until the Amyrlin arrives.” Moiraine warned them again. Seeing the woman in blue take her leave. Alessia sat down on the bed and sighed.
“Where were you?” Nynaeve then asked.
“I ran into my friend Jane. She’s here. It was dinner time when Galina Sedai found me and took me to her room and had dinner there.” Alessia explained. There was a knock on the door as Nynaeve went to answer it. It was Stephin.
“Do you have any more of that goat’s tongue?” He asked. Nynaeve smiled and walked over to the desk and pulled out her bag. “It’s not really a goat's tongue is it?” Stephin asked.
“It’s an herb. Helps you sleep.” Nynaeve spoke as she handed the man a small pouch. He bowed before taking his leave.
“He isn’t doing well.” Alessia spoke with a frown.
“No, he isn’t. He said it feels like part of his soul is gone.” Nynaeve spoke. Alessia frowned again. To find your soulmate was so rare. To love someone unconditionally no matter what. She looked out the window and saw it was getting late. Nynaeve then opened the door.
“I want to look around, come with me?” She asked. Alessia nodded without a second thought. Grabbing the cloak Liandrin had given her and followed out of the room. Wrapping the cloak around her shoulders while following Nynaeve down a hallway. There were several statues lined up. Of men and their weapons.

They were standing while looking at the statues.
“Are they warders?” Alessia asked.
“I don’t know.” Nynaeve spoke.
“Escaped?” Liandrin’s voice came as she was walking up to the with her hands behind her back. “You ran off earlier. Why?” She asked while looking at Alessia.
“Had dinner with Galina Sedai.” Alessia spoke. Seeing Liandrin’s bottom lip twitch from annoyance before nodding.
“I see. Well, while you two are out. Enjoy your freedom?” She asked. Nynaeve was glaring at her.
“What are these statues?” Alessia asked while pointing at one.
“Warders. Guarding the Tower hall in death as they did in life. They represent the number of warders that bonded with my sisters over the years.” Liandrin explained.
“Reds don’t have warders.” Nynaeve spoke in a matter of fact voice.
“No.” Liandrin spoke while staring at the statue before sliding an arm around Alessia’s waist discreetly.
“Because you hate men.” Nynaeve added.
“Is that a question?” Liandrin asked. “Most of my sisters do. Some of them don’t hate men.” Liandrin spoke before gasping and smiled. She felt her hip squeezed as she blushed.
“While you are enjoying your freedom, the garden is that way and the library further down. Persimmons are in season.” Liandrin spoke with a smile before taking her leave. Alessia felt her arm taken as they made their way down the hallway. She took one look at the red ajah before following into the garden. It seemed Nynaeve was eager to get away from the red. Hearing Nynaeve sigh as they sat down on a bench in the moonlight.
“I know you are worried about them. I am sure they will show up.” Alessia spoke.
“You have a lot of confidence in people you’ve met once.” Nynaeve spoke.
“Well they seemed kind when I met them.” Alessia spoke as she heard heavy footsteps. A tall man had come up to them. Alessia gasped with a smile. She knew what race he was.
“Hello Builder.” Alessia spoke with a bow.
“Hello. Who might you be?” He asked.
“I am Alessia Solstice.” Alessia spoke.
“Solstice. Your name sings in my ear. I am Loial. Are you Nynaeve al’Meara?” The man asked.
“Yes.” Nynaeve spoke.
“Do you know a boy by the name of Rand?” he asked. Nynaeve gasped. “Come.” Loial spoke as they did.
“Who is he?” Nynaeve asked.
“He is an Ogier. They built the Waygates. They can sing to trees and create things from them.” Alessia spoke. She heard her father talking about them years ago. Feeling the cool wind whisper to her while following. She looked over to the side and saw the red quickly walking down a hall. It was Galina. It seemed she was searching for someone. Alessia knew. She quickly followed the Ogier out of the gardens and down a hallway. Seeing the exit as he looked around to make sure it was clear.

He nodded his head and took the lead. They were out of the Tower now and making their way down the street. Seeing shops were closed for the night as Alessia looked around. Making sure they were now followed. They entered a tavern with rooms. Loial knocked on the door and it was answered by a redheaded man. Alessia peeked over the Ogier’s shoulder.
“Rand Al’Thor. Did you know that Ogiers have access to the Tower grounds?” Loial asked.
“No, I did not.” Rand’s voice came.
“I found the woman you mentioned. She is also with another.” Loial spoke and stepped to the side.
“Rand!” Nynaeve shouted and hugged Rand who was happy to see her.
“I knew you were alright!” Rand spoke. Then Rand’s eyes saw Alessia.
“It’s nice to see you again.” Rand spoke as Alessia smiled and took her his and shook it.
“It’s nice to officially meet you.” Alessia spoke with a smile. There was a painful grunt from behind Rand. Another man was laying in bed. He was sweating badly.
“Is he alright?” Alessia asked.
“I do not know. He hasn’t been well.” Rand spoke.
“May I?” Alessia asked as Rand nodded his head. Seeing Nynaeve already by his side.
“It’s good to see you.” Mat spoke.
“Who else did you expect?” Nynaeve spoke with a chuckle. Seeing Mat snap up as Rand pushed him back down.
“What did you want to do?” Rand asked Alessia. She walked up to Mat and began to channel. Closing her eyes as she rested her hand upon her forehead. She saw darkness. His mind clouded with doubt. He was fighting a battle inside. She stopped and stood up. Walking outside as both Nynaeve and Rand followed her.
“Can you heal him?” Rand asked.
“I cannot. I have not learned how to heal properly. There is darkness inside of him. He needs an Aes Sedai to heal him.” Alessia spoke.
“No. I’ve seen what the Aes Sedai do to men like him.” Rand spoke. “What they did to the false dragon.” Rand added. Alessia sighed.
“I will do what I can to heal him. We are Two River folks. Even you, Alessia.” Nynaeve spoke while trying to reassure Rand who sighed.
“I miss her.” Rand spoke. Alessia raised a brow at this.
“I know. She’s strong.” Nynaeve was speaking about Egwene. Alessia had a feeling that Rand was in love with the woman. Alessia looked over the balcony and sighed a little. She was ready to head back to the Tower.
“Come. We should head back.” Nynaeve spoke as Alessia nodded her head.
“Stay safe. I will come back with herbs for Mat.” Nynaeve spoke. Alessia took the lead. She remembered where to go. It seemed Loial decided to stay with Rand to look over Mat.
“I still think we should tell Moiraine Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“Don’t you dare. Let me take care of it.” Nynaeve spoke. Alessia nodded with a sigh. They had made their way back to the room as she quickly changed. Laying down in the bed. Nynaeve passed out not long after.

It was definitely late now. Alessia sat back up and looked around the room. The moon’s glow was giving light in the room. She frowned. Hugging her knees while sighing softly. She felt lonely at the moment. Wanting company. She stood up and walked out of the room. Her mind kept wandering off to the red ajah with long honey blonde hair. Wondering if she could find the woman’s room. She stopped when she heard voices.
“You brought two women with raw power with you. Did you plan on telling our dear sisters?” Liandrin’s voice came. Alessia stopped and hid behind the wall around the corner. It was Moiraine and Liandrin speaking.
“Stay away from them.” Moiraine spoke.
“Why? You come and go from the Tower so much. They need guidance.” Liandrin spoke.
“And you are the one to do that? Nynaeve doesn’t touch the one power and Alessia is afraid of our sisters.” Moiraine spoke. She was somewhat right. She had run from a few sisters. But was she really afraid of the sisters?
“Our sisters are curious as to why they didn’t sign their names yet. I am sure they will want to train Nynaeve.” Liandrin spoke.
“She won’t take red. Not after healing the dying.” Moiraine spoke.
“Hmm no. Our yellow sisters will want her. Alessia however is made for red.” Liandrin spoke with a soft laugh.
“She doesn’t trust any of the Aes Sedai. I suggest you look for converts elsewhere.” Moiraine spoke. Alessia took a deep breath.
“You are about that sister?” Liandrin asked in a challenging voice. Alessia had heard enough. She turned on her heels and made her way down the hall again. Hoping to not run into anyone else. She heard footsteps nearby as she hid behind another corner.
“Ah. Did you speak to Moiraine and find anything out?” Tarna asked.
“It seems Moiraine is confident that they will not join red.” Liandrin spoke.
“Why does everyone talk about us?” Alessia asked as she came from the shadow.
“How long were you listening?” Liandrin asked.
“Since you were speaking to Moiraine.” Alessia confessed. Liandrin didn’t look mad but impressed.
“I didn’t even hear you.” Liandrin spoke and motioned her head. Alessia walked up to the women in red.
“You are powerful. It’s only natural for our ajahs to want others to join.
“I’m nothing special.” Alessia spoke softly. Feeling her chin lifted.
“You are more than what you think. Sign your name tomorrow and you will be shown.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia nodded her head. Knowing Moiraine would not allow that just yet.
“Where are you sleeping?” Tarna asked.
“I was heading back to Galina Sedai’s room. She told me to head straight back after giving my friends a goodnight.” Alessia spoke.
“You stay away from that woman.” Liandrin spoke.
“Why?” Alessi asked.
“Some of our sisters have motives. They sensed how strong you both are.” Tarna spoke.
“Very well then. I am going to head back to bed then. Have a goodnight.” Alessia spoke with a bow.
“Come join me.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia shook her head.
“I wish to be alone.” Alessia spoke. It was a lie. She wanted company.
“Nonsense. Come.” Liandrin spoke as she wrapped an arm around Alessia’s shoulder and led her away from any prying ears. Tarna had followed.

It was another red room. She was looking around. It was a more welcoming feeling to it. She saw a bed that had drapes that hung over to give privacy. A fire lit was warming the room. She smiled softly and sat down in a chair. Liandrin poured three glasses of wine and handed one to Alessia. She took a drink and coughed a little. It made her throat dry.
“I think Nynaeve would do well with the yellow ajah. She’s a Wisdom.” Alessia spoke. Starting the conversation.
“What about you?” Tarna asked.
“I haven’t decided. I heard it can be several years before I can be raised to be an Aes Sedai.” Alessia spoke.
“That is true.” Tarna spoke. Seeing the red ajah sit across from her as Liandrin sat next to her. Feeling a hand on her thigh under the table made her mind race. She felt her cheeks heat up a little. Her heart swelling at the touch before she took a drink to hide her face’s reaction.
“What is Moiraine up to?” Tarna then asked.
“I have no idea but she better accomplish it quickly.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia raised a brow at this.
“Is everything alright?” Alessia asked. They were silent for a moment.
“We are not supposed to say anything.” Tarna spoke.
“But yet, here we are.” Alessia replied back.
“A trial is called by the Amyrlin tomorrow. To decide what to do with Logain.” Liandrin spoke. Alessia could sense that the woman was a bit nervous. She placed a hand upon her shoulder. Her hand was touched by the older and felt her hand caressed.
“Did something happen?” Alessia asked.
“We were not supposed to gentle Logain before his trial.” Liandrin answered. Alessia withdrew her hand and Liandrin frowned at this.
“You did what you thought was right. If he wasn’t, who knows who else he would have killed.” Alessia spoke.
“Spoke like a red ajah.” Tarna smirked and took a drink.
“So, you are called to trial because you broke a rule?” Alessia asked.
“A Tower law.” Liandrin sighed.
“Whatever the reason, I hope she goes easy on you.” Alessia spoke softly.
“Whatever it may be, she is justice. She is fair.” Tarna spoke.
“I heard the Amyrlin wants to meet Nynaeve and myself.” Alessia added. Seeing Tarna nod her head.
“Yes, it’s because our sisters wrote to her ahead of time while we were still traveling.” Tarna spoke. Alessia set her empty glass down. She felt hot. A little over heated. One glass and she was now done. She was smiling now.
“You alright?” Tarna asked as Alessia nodded her head with a smile. “Well, I am going to head to bed. Get some rest. Both of you.” Tarna spoke. Alessia hopped up and nearly bounced over and gave the woman in hug a red.
“First hug from you huh?” Tarna asked.
“Mhm! I give my friends hugs.” Alessia spoke. Hearing Liandrin chuckled. Seeing Tarna smile before taking her leave. Alessia had her hands behind her back while rolling up and down on her feet.
“Do I get a hug?” Liandrin then asked. Alessia looked at her and smiled. Walking up to the red and hugged her tightly. Resting her face against Liandrin’s neck. They stayed like that for a moment. Feeling arms move to release her but Alessia kept her hold on Liandrin only for another hug. Feeling her back rubbed to tell her to let go and she did. She leaned back and was now looking into the light blue eyes. It was the wine or it was her heart. Either way, she did not know. She cupped Liandrin’s cheeks and leaned in. Kissing the woman’s lips. A pair of hands found her hips and pulled her closer. Liandrin was returning the kiss. Alessia smiled and pulled back.
“Have a goodnight Liandrin Sedai.” Alessia spoke with a small bow and took her leave. Leaving a shocked Liandrin behind.
