Chapter 3
Regulus walked towards the library putting more Force behind each step than normal, his..'mother' had sent a quite scathing and detailed letter to him at breakfast and it had thoroughly sowerd his mood, Unfortunately he had back-to-back classes so he did not have the time to try and exercise that anger,
When he sat down next to lily he was not surprised when lily turned to him and frowned at him. "Whats wrong, why are you pouting?" His brow forwowd (he found that he could not forwow his brow anyfrother)
"What are you talking about." Lily rolled her eyes at him smiling fondly
"Come on regulus You where basically stomping." She said with a laugh, she lifted her hand and poked him in between his eyebrow. He lightly smacks her hand away, she continued to laugh at him.
Remus joined not long after watching Lily regulus squabble, he tried his best to. Not smile.

James was in the courtyard, which wasn't unusual, but what was unusual was the lack of any of his friends around him
But he really didn't care as much as he thought he should the reason?
Regulus was sitting under a tree reading
James looked around furtively before making his way to the love of his life.
Regulus looked up with the same bored look he gave everyone but james knew better.
"What do you what potter?" Regulus said raising his eyebrow,
merlin above he wanted so bad to kiss regulus senseless run his hands up his beautiful body and-
"Potter. Regulus was glaring at him.
"huh" james said with all the intelligence of a worm.
Regulus was still glaring at him, a crease between his eyebrows his bottom lip sticking out ever so slightly.
"What do you what?" It took james a minute to understand what was being asked of him.
"uh.. Oh! umm well I just kinda wanted to come check up on you yk?"
James rubbed the back of his neck more nervous then when the school called his mother about one of the pranks he had pulled.
Regulus continued to looked not impressed, before james could embarrass himself anymore a memory popped into his head .
"Regulus always loved flying"
Sirius was half asleep as he mumble the little confusion
"Do you what to learn how to make a paper airplane?" Regulus eyebrows flew up (he was still pouting with james would like it to be known is vary distracting.)
"A what?" Regulus looked at james strangely "here let me just-" james quickly
reached for his bag and pulled out some parchment he keeled down what got to work folding the parchment until it turned into something that resembled a airplane.
Regulus still looked confused but he had put his book down and scooted closer and was looking over james shoulder.
"What-" but before regulus could finish his sentence james hand shot out that the little plane was sent flying, regulus watched with fascination, James loved that look on him.
Regulus looked back at james, stars in his eyes james had a moment to try and commit the image to memory before regulus said "can you do that again?" James laughed but nodded grabbing another piece of parchment but before he could start folding a hand was on top of his james looked swiftly.
He made eye contact with regulus for a second before regulus turned his head, his ears were red.
"uhm could you teach me..?" James did not like the hesitation in regulus voice but james knew an opportunity when he saw it
"I will IF you agree to keep meeting me at least every other day." Regulus wide stormy eye caught his he looked panicked for a split second before he got his emotions under control.
" but what about sirius?" Before james could say anything in response to regulus question there was a sharp laugh from the other side of the curt yard, he glanced over and saw a group of boys some of them looked familiar but he couldn't figure out way.
He looked over to regulus only to see him horridly packing his bag "Regulus ar you oka- "but the boy was already standing,
James quickly followed, "Regulus?" James asked "I have to go" for reasons unknown to james regulus seemed on edge, maybe it was something james did. He wasn't sure but before he could ask regulus if he was okay but regulus was all really moving,
"I have to go" was all regulus said before he turned around and started to walk.
James had half a mind to grab him and force him to talk.
Thank everything good in the world that Euphemia potter taught him selfrestraint.
he looked at regulus and nodded but regulus was all walking towards the school. James watched with his fist clenched.

Regulus laid on his bed, unable to sleep, with a sigh he got up and climbed out of his bed and slipped into a pair of shoes, and as quietly as he could he snuck out of his dorm and made his way to the astronomy Tower.
As he made his way up the stairs he couldn't help but wish that had brought a jumper.

James was up late thinking about surprise surprise!.. regulus!
So naturally be pulled out the map to quickly check on regulus, but he didn't find regulus in the dungeons he sat up and scanned the map trying to fined regulus, When he did he hurried out of bed to put on a pair of shoes and find his invisible cloak and right before he left he snagged one of his jumpers before leaving.
Regulus was having a good time, all Things Considered. yes he was cold. but it wasn't the worst time he had this week. Only the one and only james potter to show up.
