After such an eventful year for 1A, USJ, hosu, sports festival and all they deserved a much needed rest after the hurricane that was their summer camp. Yayorozu talked with her parents to let her and her classmates use the family’s beach house
"I can't believe you managed to convince your parents to let us use your beach house." Jirou said, looking very impressed by the fact that Momo was able to manage to persuade her parents in using such a luxury vacation house.
"Well, they were a little skeptical at first, but I just had to reassure them that we would take good care of the house." Yaoyorozu replied back, trying to downplay the effort she had to put in to convince her parents to let them use the beach house.
"That's putting it lightly, considering your folks are loaded and I heard the beach house is worth a fortune." Kaminari added, looking amazed by the fact that Yaoyorozu was letting them stay at a luxury beach house.
Her parents allowed only if an adult came, wich in case no one’s parents wanted to take care of 20 teenagers, they will have to convince Aizawa-sensei
"You really think you'll be able to convince Aizawa-sensei to join us as a chaperone?" Jirou asked with a bit of skepticism, knowing that their homeroom teacher definitely doesn't enjoy such activities.
"Considering his track record, it's highly unlikely unless we use some pretty convincing argument." Yaoyorozu replied, but she was still pretty determined that they could convince Aizawa-sensei to take them to the beach house.
"Convincing? More like begging and crying out for mercy." Sero said as he dramatically imitated begging which lead some of the students to scoff at the fact that he described that as a form of convincing.
“We can tell him that is for our safety duh! We are main targets for villains and him being a pro could totally protect us” Mina spoke up way too excited for the opportunity to let it slide
"That's actually not a bad idea," Ojiro said as the other students considered the possibility of using the villain attack as one of the reasons they need Aizawa-sensei with them.
"However, you all know how Aizawa-sensei is. And given his grumpy personality, it's still unlikely he'll come with us to the beach house." Iida said, always the pragmatic in the class.
“Guys! Mic sensei will totally agree! Besides he could help convincing him! They are super close” Kaminari spoke up, this idea is actually good! Rare one from him
There was a moment of silence as everybody processed what Kaminari said and they all nodded in agreement. "That's actually a pretty good idea! Mic-sensei will definitely help us convince Aizawa-sensei." Sero said, feeling impressed with Kaminari for once.
"Then it's settled, we ask Mic-sensei tomorrow to help us convince Aizawa-sensei" Yaoyorozu said, feeling relieved that they had a plan on getting Aizawa-sensei to go with them to the beach house.
The rest of the class nodded in agreement, feeling glad that they could use their English teacher for this. It was rare that Aizawa-sensei would agree to any trip as an adult chaperone, so this was a pretty good plan that they came up with.
The next day, the class approached Present Mic-sensei during lunch break, nervous but hopeful. "Hey Sensei, do you think you can do us a favor?" Yaoyorozu asked, gathering the courage to speak up first.
Present Mic turned to look at the class, a curious look on his face. "What's up, little listeners?" He asked, his usual energetic self.
Jirou stepped forward and spoke up, "We were wondering if you could help us convince Aizawa-sensei to come with us to a beach house." This caught Present Mic's attention and he stopped to listen.
"A beach house? You mean for a class trip?" Present Mic asked, surprise evident in his tone.
"Yeah," Kaminari piped in, "Yaoyorozu's family has a beach house and they're letting us use it, but they want us to have an adult to supervise us, and we thought it'd be cool if Aizawa-sensei came with us."
Present Mic let out a low whistle, "Aizawa on a beach vacation, that's something I never thought I'd hear. But I'll see what I can do, I'll talk to him after class."
“You can come with us too sensei, the house has a great space and i bet aizawa-sensei will be more convinced if you come too!” Yaoyorozu spoke up, the house is hers so be can invite whoever she wants
Present Mic's face lit up at the invitation, "Oh really? Well if you're offering, I'd love to come! I need a break from grading papers anyway."
It took a lot of convincing, 7 days at the beach without training, that is a well deserved rest, after all those attacks its the least they could do
The students were ecstatic when they found out that Aizawa-sensei and Present Mic had agreed to go with them to the beach house. They were counting down the days until the trip and couldn't contain their excitement during class.
They took the bus and well teenagers, mina and yaoyorozu took many bags, the boys already thought the pranks, they came singing and talking all the ride
Present Mic laughed at the students' excitement and played along with them, singing along and joining in their conversations. Aizawa-sensei mostly stayed silent, but they could see a small hint of a smile on his face.
When they arrived, they had to organize tbe rooms. “Problem children, the house has nine rooms, one will be used by me and yamada so you are left with eight, four of them can handle three people so its four trios and four duos dont even think girls and boys in the same room”
The students groaned and began to argue about who would room with who. Some were already making teams, while others were still deciding. Aizawa-sensei stood there, his arms crossed, watching the students with a tired expression.
“Oi extras who are you going with?” Said bakugo already noticing kaminari and kirishima are definitely in the same room
Kaminari and Kirishima looked at each other, grinning. "We’re a package deal, of course we’re going to room together." Kaminari replied with his usual carefree attitude. "And don’t call us extras." Kirishima added, still smiling.
“And I have the best chance ever with shoto dudes he agreed being in my room! Don’t you dare ruin this for me” said sero, poor guy he has been pining over todoroki for a while what a shame that guy is a dork
Bakugo rolled his eyes at Sero’s comment. "Good luck with that, Icy-Hot doesn’t even know what romance is."
“Besides sero bros before hoes” said kaminari faking offense. Sero scoffed at Kaminari’s comment. "Says the guy who’s been crushing on Jiro since day one."
Kaminari’s face turned pink at this. "Hey, don't bring my own pining into this."
They kept arguing and bakugo is left without a roommate great really great. Meanwhile midoriya was also left by his group, apparently Iida is now best buddies ojiro and koda, or at least he is doing his job as class rep including everyone
Midoriya was standing alone, feeling a bit awkward. He tried to look around, seeing if there was anyone else who was without a partner, but it seemed like everyone had already formed their groups.
Aizawa sensei called their attention to “so you all paired up? Okay so its yaoyorozu, jirou and asui for a room. Ashido, uraraka and hagakure for the other one. For the boys its Todoroki and sero, kirishima and kaminari and Shoji and tokoyami. And two trios: iida, ojiro and koda and the other one aoyama, shinsou and sato?”
The students nodded in acknowledgment, some looking pleased with their pairings and others not so much. Kirishima was high-fiving Kaminari while Midoriya was still standing alone, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
“Bakugo and midoriya are you two a room?”
Bakugo glowered "hell no!" Midoriya looked even more uncomfortable and shook his head.
Aizawa-sensei sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Looks like you two are the only ones left. You’ll just have to learn to get along, understand?" Bakugo huffed in annoyance but didn’t argue further.
Midoriya bit his lip, looking unsure about the arrangement but nodded nonetheless. "Understood, sir."
Bakugo is fucked oh so fucked he has a tiny very small almost nonexistent thing for deku and now they will share a room for a whole week! Its not when they were kids this is different for fucks sake
Bakugo didn’t show it, trying to keep up his usual tough demeanor, but inside he was freaking out just a little bit. The thought of having to share a room with Deku and hide his feelings was overwhelming.
Deku, on the other hand, was nervous about the whole situation too. He knew that things between him and kacchan had improved, but they still had a complicated history. He tried to look on the bright side though and thought of this as an opportunity to get to know a different side of kacchan.
As the group started moving towards their respective rooms, Bakugo and Midoriya trailing behind, they could feel the awkwardness between them. Midoriya tried to make conversation a few times, but Bakugo just grunted in response.
They finally reached their room, and Bakugo flung the door open, marching inside. Midoriya followed, looking around the room. It was spacious, with two single beds on either side. There was a small balcony overlooking the ocean, and the sound of the waves could be heard from outside.
They both stood there, awkwardly avoiding each other's gaze. The silence was almost deafening until Midoriya broke it. "Um, this room is pretty nice, huh?" Theo akward silence is killing him
Bakugo grunted in response, "yeah, I guess." He sat down on his bed, staring at the ceiling, refusing to look at Midoriya. The tension was still palpable in the air.
Oh this is going to be a long long week…
