It's been years since I last made a letter like this. But do you know why I made this one? It's in hopes that it will actually reach you.
There was an escaped prisoner from Azkaban. They refused to say who it is when I asked.
And for some reason that just gave me more confidence that it was you.
Dumbledore has informed me that I will be teaching as the professor against the dark arts this year at Hogwarts. Can you imagine that?

Of course you can, but that will be for the next letter.
Harry is supposed to be in my class this year. Can't wait to see if he looks more like his mother or father.
Listen though, if this letter does reach you, you need to stay on the down low, and not be caught.
I understand that youve been in prison for decades now, and you have things that you want to do, but I need you to be safe
