Remus
Lily is a weird person. Whether you like that or not is up to you to decide. She hears messages in the singing of birds, she sees people in the clouds, butterflies cheer her up even in her worst moments, she believes in spirits and she always saw the best in people. She’s been used, hurt, left behind and bullied all her life, and that’s how she now is who she is. She’s never had many friends, but right now, she has the most amazing friends she could ever imagine. They just came out of the blue, and Lily thinks they’re everything she wanted.

First of all, there’s her best friend, Remus. Remus is a part of her soul she never knew she needed, and even though Lily’s mother thinks they’re dating, they’re almost like siblings.
Whenever she’s sad, Remus is the first one who knows. Whenever she’s happy, Remus is the first one who knows.
“If I told you I had a crush on someone, would you tell anyone?” she says, cause there’s something that’s been bothering her for months now.
“Of course I wouldn’t” Remus says, in the same reassuring tone Lily’s grown comfortable with over the past year.
“Okay so... there is this one girl, she’s from my class, her name is Dorcas. I’ve had a crush on her for like 6 months or anything, and I feel so guilty for it”
“Don’t feel guilty for it” is the first thing Remus says, before trying to convince Lily to talk to Dorcas(no Remus, that’s never gonna happen), but now that Lily told it and Remus listened, even though it still feels like a bad thing, it feels less terrible right now to like a straight girl.

Some people listen to happy music while baking cupcakes. Some people cry to ‘Mess it up’. But no, Remus and Lily were baking cupcakes while listening to the ‘The secret of us tour’ setlist (because yes, Lily had to make Remus jealous), and right now, they were dancing to Mess it up (they also definetly messed the cupcakes up because they didn’t have a mixer and Remus thought it was a good idea to use a mix to make pancakes), as Lily’s friend Lidia called it that was ‘Gracie core’.The cupcakes turned out to be more like cookies that tasted like pancakes. But that’s a detail.
