Aerial & Dance
Jesse was currently walking down a hall looking for a dance room- more specifically, a person.
The light from a door creak caught his attention and he walked through, looking in the empty room- he definitely was where Yuna's parents were talking about, but no Paris was found. He stood at the entrance confused till something dropped and dangled in front of him.
Jesse's heart dropped along with it.
"Hey." Yuna spoke softly dangling upside down, silk wrapped around her waist and legs.
He forced himself to keep his composure and cleared his throat-acting like his always formal self. "Your parents told me I would find you here." He spoke plainly.
"I see Yuna's managed to scare another." A boy with brown hair entered diagonally across from him. They walked over to a bench and placed down their water bottle before turning back to the two and standing to the side of the girl. "Aarav Hussain." He held his hand out and Jesse shook it. "Jesse Wayne-Earp."
Aarav quickly turned back to Yuna, "Okay, break is over. We need to continue." He spoke and shuffled to the far middle of the room as she flipped over four times and dragged the silk to a corner following him. The boy messed with a record player and jazz started to play; they quickly tried changing the music.
The girl foolishly danced along seeing the male smile amusingly in the mirror. She turned around and pointed to him continuing her semi-awful dancing.
Jesse fully entered the room now with a smile and grabbed her hand. He spun her around and the two hopped to the side before sliding back. Holding his hand, she wrapped her other around his shoulder and his around her waist and back.
Following his lead, she copied after his steps and spun around him. Nothing was said but their steps looked practiced and quick.
A violin soon started to play and the two stopped.
One was smiling while the other was giggling.
"Nice reflexes." Yuna commented quickly before walking back over to Aarav. She stood in first position as he stood behind her.
The male contemplated on staying and watching them as he head back towards the door.
The girl followed her steps with the music. Assemblé. Battement kick. She spun. Brisé. They copied Aarav before splitting apart. Ciseaux. Ciseaux again. She turned, emboité. Then spinning back.
Jesse watched her for a moment before deciding to leave, he believed this was bad timing on his part.
Yuna pirouetted before performing a pas de basque over to him. Tapping his shoulder, the brunette leaned over with her hand out. "Who said you can leave?" She asked rhetorically. "I don't do ballet." His response received a sarcastic 'really?' look. "I also didn't mean to interrupt your rehearsal." Jesse added holding onto the door.
"You're being formal again." Yuna stood up still with her hand out but more reluctantly. "You're doing ballet." The male reminded.
Aarav grabbed the girls hand pulling her back and dipping her backwards. Her gaze was locked on the one at the door though through the mirror.
She had that look in her eyes again.
Jesse gave a confused-sad smile before sighing then left.
