Chapter 1
As Lingling sobbed on the floor, tears streaming down her face, she screamed her heart out to Orm: "I love you, Orm."Her words were laced with desperation, and Orm's expression transformed from surprise to tenderness.
Without hesitation, Orm rushed to Lingling's side, enveloping her in a warm hug. As they held each other, Orm gently stroked Lingling's hair, wiping away her tears.
Lingling's voice trembled as she continued, "You mean everything to me. That one night wasn't a joke. I know I'm breaking our deal, but I love you, Orm. Please don't leave."
Her words were like a whisper under her sobs, and Orm's grip tightened , offering comfort and reassurance.
Film's eyes fixed on the book in her lap. However, her gaze became distant, and she shook her head in disbelief.
The scene unfolding before her seemed implausible, and she struggled to understand the depth of emotions that could develop between two people.
Namtan, engrossed in writing her own notes, noticed Film's frustration. "What's the matter, Film?" she asked, concern etched on her face.
Film turned to Namtan, her expression puzzled. "How can two people fall in love with each other after just one night?" she asked, her voice laced with skepticism. "I mean, is it really possible to fall in love with someone that quickly?"
Namtan's eyes widened slightly as she considered Film's question. She thought about the complexities and possibilities of human emotions, wondering if it was indeed possible for love to blossom in such a short time.
As she thought about Film's words, Namtan's thoughts became a pile curiosity hunched over her.
Namtan's was hesitant, "I don't know... maybe what if they liked each other from the beginning?" Saying that She returned to writing her notes, but Film's curiosity was at its pique.
Film's eyes sparkled as she replied, "No, dummy! See, in this fic, Orm and Lingling were strangers, and they had never experienced anything like this Before infact they were supposed to never meet. When they met, they made a deal to have a one-night stand, and things would end right there. But no, they fell in love eventually. But how is this possible?"
Namtan set her pen down, a gentle smile on her face. "Film, don't overthink it too much. Even we're friends, it's not like if we... you know, did something and things would change between us. We'll always stay friends." Namtan's words were laced with a casual tone, and she chuckled softly.
As Namtan checked her wrist watch, she realized it was time for her football practice. "I have to go, Film. See you later!" she said, gathering her notes.
Film nodded, but her thoughts were still consumed by the book and Namtan as words.
As Namtan departed, Film's mind wandered to a hypothetical scenario. What if she and Namtan... what if they tried it? The thought sent a flutter through her chest, and Film's eyes widened, surprised by her own imagination.
She felt a sudden rush of curiosity, wondering what it would be like to explore something more with her friend.
