Hate or Love? Or Both?

Hermione had been at the Yule Ball with Bulgarian Seeker Viktor Krum. He kissed her and everything had been fine and she felt fine. However when she went to bed she didn’t feel the same. She thought about how his kisses had made her feel. It didn’t exactly make her feel good but it didn’t make her feel bad. She had been thinking that maybe it was because she was inexperienced but she didn’t feel the way the other girls had when they described their first kisses. She felt almost dirty. Like she hadn’t really wanted his kisses.

A few weeks later Hermione hadn’t thought much about Viktor having been focused on the holidays and taking care of homework and classes prior to break. However one fateful day when she was in Potions Snape made a choice that would change her life forever.

A couple of years later in sixth year

Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Theodore Nott, and Catherine O’Leary all have been at the top of the class since first year. Hermione currently held the top spot which frustrated the other three to no end. She had the highest N.E.W.T scores and the best grades. She wasn’t terribly concerned with the boys being better than her simply because she knew they wouldn’t be able to get on her level. However there was one girl she was concerned with. Catherine O’Leary. Catherine was the Slytherin version of Hermione. She was ambitious, cunning, clever and witty. She knew what she wanted and took it. Snape had assigned Hermione and Catherine to work together on a potion.

“You’re doing it wrong.” Catherine mutters coming behind Hermione to properly dice the snakeskin. “Like this.” Hermione pulls her hands away. “I know how to dice snakeskin, thank you very much.” “Don’t be facetious just because you don’t like what I have to say.” Hermione pulls out some other homework while they are working on their potion. “What homework is that?” “Ancient Runes essay on the Norse.” “I finished that a few days ago.” Catherine leans over her shoulder. “Mmm. You’re missing a few things, pretty girl. Make sure you add where their magic came from, and how they realized they could harness it.” Hermione turns to look at Catherine shocked. “How did you know all that?” “I told you pretty girl. I already finished my essay. It just so happens that Ancient Runes was my special interest in third year.” Hermione nods and looks skeptical. “Don’t give me that look, pretty girl. I’m just helping you. I don’t need to have a better grade than you to prove I’m better than you.” Catherine stirs the potion. “You can go to the library if you need to. I’ll be fine by myself watching the potion.” “I’ll be fine Catherine.” Hermione grabs her abdomen gently. “Cramps?” “How’d you know?” “You’ve been doing the pad walk all day. You barely ate breakfast and you have been by Weasley’s side all day meaning you don’t feel good.” “Do you think anyone else noticed?” “I doubt it. Do you need paracetamol?” “Yes please.” Catherine pulls out a small glass jar with paracetamol in it. “Thank Merlin.” “Do you need water too?” “Yes please.” Catherine grabs her water bottle out of her bag. “Lean back.” Hermione leans her head back. “Open your mouth.” Hermione opens her mouth. Catherine fountains water into Hermione’s mouth. “Good job, pretty girl.” Catherine pops the paracetamol into her mouth. “Swallow.” Hermione swallows and goes a bit red. “Good job, pretty girl.” “I can do without the commentary thank you.” “But you did so well.” “Stop it.” “But-” “Stop. It.” Catherine strokes Hermione’s back. “Whatever you say, pretty girl.” The potion simmers and Catherine grabs it to take it off of the heat. “It’s done, pretty girl. Let’s bottle it up so we can submit it tomorrow.” Hermione stands up to grab a bottle. They bottle up the potion careful not to overfill it. Hermione almost lets the cauldron drop as she has a tremor of cramps run through her body. “Are they still bad Hermione?” Hermione nods painfully. “I have another remedy if you’d like to try it. It’s not very easy but it’ll make you feel better.” “What is it? I’ll do anything.” “You could have sex or masturbate to make it better.” Hermione goes red. “If you’ve never masturbated before I can help you or if you want I can do it for you.” Hermione gasps. “I’ve never… Not with a girl..” “That’s fine. Doing it with me doesn’t make you a lesbian.” “I am one.” “You are one?” “Yeah.” “Same pretty girl. So I am willing to do it without expecting anything else. Owl me if you want it.” Catherine walks away. “Wait!” “Yes?” Hermione bites her nails. “I want it.” Catherine smiles. “C’mon. Come to my dorm.” Hermione gets up obediently and follows Catherine. “Down in the dungeons?” Catherine laughs quietly. “You’ll be fine, princess. If you’re so worried about it, hold my hand. I’ll protect you.” Hermione sniffs. “I’ll be fine on my own thank you very much.” A siren bangs against the glass separating the Slytherin common room from the Black Lake. Hermione yelps and jumps back. “You okay princess?” Catherine tries not to laugh. “I am fine thank you.” Hermione says snippily. Catherine snickers and grabs her hand. “You’re fine, princess.” Hermione glares at Catherine. Catherine sweeps Hermione into her arms. “You’re moving too slow so you’re getting carried.” Hermione shrieks. “Let me down!” Catherine pulls her hair gently. “Hush pretty girl.” Catherine pushes open the door to her dorm room with her back. “Do you have a pad or tampon on, princess?” “I have a pad on.” “Alright. Lose your clothes except the panties while I go get towels.” Hermione starts pulling off her clothes until she’s sitting on Catherine’s bed in just her bra and underwear. Catherine comes back with towels and lays them down on the bed. “Sit on the towels and take off your underwear.”
