Summary

For all the delusional gays feeling saint-like. This is derived from my holey imagination ;)______Regulus Black didn’t always hate his brother. Regulus had wanted to protect him and promised that he would. He did, does, yet Sirius hated him for it. At first, Regulus was confused—worried even—but eventually spite took over. A hatred nurtured by his mother, who was all too ready to turn it on him should he disappoint her expectations. But Regulus will always keep his promises, even if it kills him, so he stays. He bears the burden and takes responsibility for the bastard’s mistakes.But suddenly everything changes. Suddenly it’s Remus’s birthday and Regulus finds the sun, the largest star in the sky, at night. Or maybe it was just the first time Regulus let himself see the sun. But that doesn’t really matter when a virus is tearing the world apart and undead are running around eating and turning people, does it? All that matters in the end is who survives. And those who don’t are nothing but memories to be forgotten, lest they haunt you in your weakness.______SO, yeah, this is far from finished but I have plans for it <333

Not an update, please read

So, I was going to get to a certain point, I won’t be spoiling it for you guys because that will be a major part of the story, but I have decided to go on a sort of hiatus for now so that I can make this story better.

I think I will be rewriting or at least editing the chapters currently up, which is part of the reason I decided to go on hiatus now rather than after a certain chapter in the future. (Because what’s the point of writing chapters I’ll just be rewriting y’know?)

I will be getting my plans better put together, I’m already working on a better outline, and then prewriting some chapters. I’m not sure how long my hiatus will be or how many chapters I will have prewritten before I update again. But if you’re interested in reading this story, a better version of it too, I am not dropping this and hope to see you when I update again! Which hopefully won’t be too long 😩

In the meantime however, I can recommend a ff I’m absolutely obsessed (I’m not kidding, you can tell by my comments lol) with rn! The Sensation of Screaming by itsallinthenamereggie is SO FREAKING GOOD and they’re twenty chapters ahead of what’s currently published unlike moi 😅
