Chapter 5
Monday, June 30th, 2014 (noon)
While everyone left to bring Harry, Edward Tonks began to prepare all the paperwork he was given to submit in the morning. Oskar was now at his personal vault with Pandora and Griphook, who was finishing adding the last security measures they had agreed to, before Griphook gave him checkbooks for each of his vaults. These were to be used as payments that Oskar could use aside from his lord rings. He also received from Griphook a main coin pouch that was connected to this vault, while the vault's ledgers would be given to him the next day. Griphook then reminded them to be back in half an hour when the rest should be back.
Thanking Griphook, Oskar filled his personal and original coin pouch that he got earlier that day with 5,000 G from the one connected to his vault, and glamoured his rings before both of them started making their way towards Diagon Alley when Pandora suggested, “Why don't we have lunch at the Leaky Cauldron? Tomorrow, after finishing our meeting here tomorrow morning, we can spend the whole day, just us and the corners shopping and be introduced to Diagon Alley before everything that is planned begins?”
Thinking it through as they walked out of Gringotts, Oskar told her, “Yeah, as long as we stop by the Magical Menagerie and get blaise from now, why not? But a fair warning though, tomorrow after the meeting we're using the time dilation room at one of the Gagos properties here in London to prepare me for the OWL'S since McGonagall wants to join us. We both know that I already know everything, but it would be a good practice before the exams on Friday. If I remember correctly, an hour here is equivalent to a week inside the room, and unlike the usage of a time turner, you don't age at all inside those rooms.”
Nodding at what he said, they started walking towards the Magical Menagerie as they chatted until they reached the store and entered. Once in, Oskar started to look around to see where the birds were located and went there.
As she left the backroom to walk back to the front desk, Lillian saw the back of a boy who was petting the Harpy Eagle through its own cage bars that she regretted ever buying and importing from Brazil with her old friend Pandora standing next to him.
Walking towards them, Lillian started saying, “Good evening Pandora. Anything I could help you with?”
Oskar turned towards Lillian and asked her politely, “How much for this Harpy Eagle, ma'am?”
The moment Oskar turned to face her she gave him a gaping look as she stared at him. Not only did he look familiar to Lillian, Oskar looked like the younger version of Sirius Black.
Knowing exactly what was going through her mind, Oskar acted casually and waved his hand in front of her face and repeated himself, “Hello? I asked how much for this Harpy Eagle?”
Snapping out of it, Lillian asked, “Are you by any chance…”
Pandora interrupted her by telling her, “It's a long story and we just found him today and learned he's his son. As a friend, I'm asking you to please keep it between us until next week.”
Not wanting to lose her friend or her trust, and wanting to know her side of the story, Lillian told her, “Of course, but you're going to explain everything at our regular hangouts on Thursday morning.”
Giving her a nod, Pandora told her in return, “Come back to my place, better have the talk in private than prying ears.”
Agreeing to that, they both turned towards Oskar who was petting the Harpy through the cage bars as he watched them both talk. With a raised eyebrow, Oskar asked again in excitement, “So, how much?”
Shaking his head, as he reminded her of Sirius in some way, she told Oskar, “He's worth 850 G, excluding the supplies.”
The moment he said he'd take it, she quickly picked up the cage as she never thought she'd finally sell this bird and gave it to Oskar as she told them, “Wait for me at the counter as I bring you his supplies for the month and the adoption paper.”
Doing what they were asked, both were amused at the way she waa running as she finally got rid of what she thought was a bad decision to buy.
It didn't take her long to come with everything needed. Oskar took the adoption paper and started filling it up with naming the Harpy Eagle Blaze. By the time he was done, he gave her the paper as she told him the final price was 1,376 G.
Giving her a nod, she started to shrink everything and put them in a bag as Oskar grabbed his checkbook to his personal vault as it didn't make sense to give her that much galleons in cash and paid her 2,000 G, including tips and gave it to her. She deserves that much.
Taking the check from him, her eyes bulged at the amount and tried to reason with him to pay less to no avail. She tried one more time but Oskar told her, “Just take it, it must've been difficult to find a buyer. Consider it an extra for training and raising him until you find a buyer for him.”
Seeing that he wasn't going to change his mind, Lillian finally agreed and thanked him, which in return, Oskar told her, “Thank you, you can count on me coming back again soon. You have some interesting pets that I'd like to check later.”
From the looks on his and Pandora's face, she knew that he was going to at least be a regular, “And If you have any questions just send me a letter or I'll answer when you come back.”
Giving her a nod, Oskar and Pandora thanked her one more time before holding in one hand the cage with Blaze inside, and the other hand with the bag. They left the store with an excited Oskar and once they were on the outside, Oskar opened the cage to let out Blaze and told him to go enjoy flying and he could find him later when he needed him. Making a voice, Blaze gave Oskar a nod before flying away, leaving the two humans behind as they started walking towards the Leaky Cauldron to have a quick bite before meeting the rest back at Gringotts.

(Dursley household, right after leaving Gringotts at noon)
The Dursley household was filled with the smell of roasting meat and vegetables as Harry was working over the stove. It was lunchtime, and as always, he was responsible for cooking the meal for his aunt, uncle, and cousin. Vernon Dursley was sitting in the living room, tapping his legs on the floor impatiently, while Dudley munched on his desserts before lunch. Petunia Dursley hovered nearby, her eyes always on the freak, watching him like a hawk.
“Hurry up, boy!” Vernon barked, his thick fingers drumming on the table. “Dudley’s starving, and we don’t have all day!”
“Yeah, freak, hurry up,” Dudley added between mouthfuls of chocolate, his small hungry eyes narrowing as he watched Harry work.
Before Harry could respond, the doorbell rang, startling everyone at the table. Vernon shot Harry a nasty look. “Get the door, boy. And don’t you dare let the food burn!”
Harry moved toward the door, but before he could get there, Vernon heaved himself out of his chair and marched toward it himself, muttering under his breath. When he yanked the door open, his expression shifted from annoyance to barely controlled anger as he found five people standing at his doorstep.
Vernon’s mustache bristled as he glared at them. With his face turning into an unpleasant look, Vernon spat, “What do you lot want?”
McGonagall, as unflinching as ever, stepped forward, trying her best not to slap him, she told him, “Mr. Dursley, we’re here to discuss Harry. May we come in?”
Vernon snorted, crossing his arms over his chest. He told her, “Harry? You mean the freak? We’ve put up with him for long enough, haven’t we, Petunia?”
Petunia Dursley appeared and walked until she was behind Vernon. With a tentative voice, she said, “Yes, well, he’s under our roof, isn’t he? We’ve done more than enough.”
Fudge stepped forward then, clearing his throat and with a voice filled with authority said, “I am Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic, and this is Amelia Bones, Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. We are here to ensure that Harry Potter is being treated fairly.”
Vernon’s face twisted in distaste at the word magic, but he kept his glare focused on Fudge, and with a sneer voice said, “Treated fairly? We’ve done more than anyone should have to do for him. He’s nothing but trouble.”
McGonagall’s lips tightened, and she exchanged glances with Amelia Bones and Andromeda Tonks. Wanting to get more information out of those despicable people, Gagos stepped forward, with a calm but firm voice, he told them, “We have reason to believe Harry might be better off with other family members, closer relatives, perhaps.”
Vernon scoffed, “Better off? With family? We are his family. Ungrateful little brat, that one. Always causing trouble.”
Petunia sniffed, her nose wrinkling in disdain, “We’ve done our duty, haven’t we? Give him food, shelter. What more do you people want?”
Harry, who had been quietly standing in the doorway, shifted uneasily, feeling ashamed from his aunt and uncle, when suddenly, Harry snapped his head towards the newcomers when he just realized that they said other family members, making all eyes turn toward him.
Amelia Bones raised an eyebrow, her gaze sharp as she surveyed the house. She said, “We’ll need to speak with Harry directly. Where are his things?”
Vernon’s voice turned dangerously low, and with a growl, he told her, “His things? His things are locked in that cupboard where they belong. I don’t want any more of that unnatural nonsense in my house.”
McGonagall’s eyes widened, not believing what she's hearing, shs asked to be certain, “His belongings are locked in a cupboard?”
Andromeda Tonks, who was quiet until now, gave a displeased look. Wanting to check the cupboard, she asked the old pig, “Where exactly is this cupboard?”
Huffing, Vernon waved his hand towards the cupboard under the stairs without a care, saying, “Right there, under the stairs. We moved him into Dudley’s spare room last when he started at that.. at that school for freaks.”
With a blank face, but fuming from the inside, Bones was going to kill Dumbledore. Being how she is, she asked more questions for when she started the investigation after finishing at Gringotts, “And before that? He lived… in this cupboard?”
Petunia sniffed. “He’s had his own room every summer, ever since he started attending that school for freaks.”
A heavy silence filled the room as the group processed the information. “That means this was the third summer that he actually had his own room,” McGonagall thought, her face tight with barely suppressed anger, moved toward the cupboard, and opened the door. The sight inside made her pale. Harry’s school trunk, his books, his wand.. everything was locked inside that small, cramped space. Dust had settled on everything, and the narrowness of the cupboard itself told the story of how Harry had been forced to live there for eleven years. She told the bastard and he didn't listen to her. She's going to skin Dumbledore alive.
“This…” McGonagall’s voice shook with disbelief. “He lived here?”
Petunia flinched. “We gave him a room, didn’t we? He’s had one since he started at your freakish school.”
“And before that, he slept in this cupboard?” McGonagall asked, her voice icy.
Vernon’s face darkened. “He had a roof over his head. He didn’t need anything else. Ungrateful little—”
“Enough,” Gagos interrupted, his tone sharp. “You’ve treated him worse than a house-elf. He’s a child, not some prisoner.”
Dudley snickered from the dining room. “Good riddance. Freak doesn’t deserve more than that.”
Harry, standing silently by the door, felt a flush of embarrassment rise to his cheeks. This wasn’t how he wanted anyone to find out about his life with the Dursley. It was bad enough when Ron, the twins, and Hermoine found out. He had been careful to hide the worst of it from the wizarding world, hoping to just make it through until he could stay at Hogwarts for good.
Andromeda Tonks crossed her arms, her face grim. “Where are your clothes, Harry?”
Embarrassed, Harry gestured upstairs. “In the room. But they’re just… Dudley’s old clothes.”
Amelia Bones exchanged a glance with McGonagall, who looked as if she might explode at what she was being told.
Fudge cleared his throat awkwardly, clearly unsure of how to handle the situation. Wanting to leave this hell hole of a muggle family and hoke, he muttered, “We’ll, er, be taking him now.”
Harry ran upstairs, grabbing the few oversized hand-me-downs he had from Dudley. The shirts were several sizes too large, and the pants dragged on the floor, but they were all he had. During all that, he couldn't stop thinking about who those other relatives they mentioned, and why they wanted him now. When he came back down, Gagos had already retrieved his school trunk from the cupboard, and McGonagall’s face was still filled with fury.
Seeing that they were getting ready to leave, Vernon sneered. “Good riddance to the lot of you. I hope you see what a waste of space he is. You’ll regret it and ship him back to us.”
Petunia added with a sniff, “He’s always been a freak, and nothing you do will change that.”
McGonagall, unable to contain her disgust anymore, shot the Dursleys a look of pure disdain and hatred. She told them “You will not see him again. And as for your treatment of him… you’ll be hearing from us again.”
Harry glanced back at the Dursleys one last time before stepping out the door with his things. The cold air outside was a relief, and as the door slammed shut behind him, he felt lighter, freer than he had in years.
The group walked away from Number Four, Privet Drive, leaving behind the place that had never been his home. Harry glanced at the adults beside him, feeling an odd mixture of relief and uncertainty. His life with the Dursleys was finally over. But, he couldn't help himself but ask, “Who’s my other relatives? And why do they want me now?”
The five shared a look before being told by Amelia, “It's better and safer to talk when we are back at Gringotts.”
Giving her nod in defeat, Harry agreed to go with them as long as they're safe people and he would not have to come back to the Dursleys ever again.
As they started walking to a safer place to apparate back to Diagon Alley, when Antony noticed the old lady that Oskar had mentioned to him before. So, being who he is, Antony told the rest to go ahead of him, and he would meet them at the bank in fifteen minutes. When Bones looked in the direction where he was looking, she insisted on joining him as a backup, when Minerva saw who was peeking from the window of the house they looked at, she suggested that Andromeda continue to the bank with Harry, the Minister to submit and seal the papers like he's been asked to, and to meet each other back at the bank with the others afterwards. With everyone agreeing, they departed into their separate ways.

(Meanwhile, at the Ministry)
Sitting at his office eating the lunch that his wife had given him when the letter from Gringotts arrived. Looking confused at the letter that had been given to him, Arthur opened it as he wondered why the bank would be contacting him as he hoped that there weren't any problems. As much as he loved his job, unfortunately, the pay was garbage. He barely could afford anything for his family, It was never like what he thought. He just wished that his father hadn't cut him off from the Weasley vaults and from receiving his Lordships. He was never interested in politics so he didn't care, but the money could have helped them exponentially. He was just glad that Dumbledore has still been sending them money from the Order of the Phoenix that they used to be part of during the last war. So he opened the letter to see what the bank needed.
Gringotts Bank
Office of the Goblin King
Diagon Alley, London
June 30th, 2024
Mr. Arthur Weasley,
The Burrow,
Ottery St. Catchpole,
Devon, England.
Dear Mr. Weasley,
It has come to our attention that urgent and significant matters concerning both your family and your Lordship require immediate resolution. As such, it is imperative that you, your wife, and your children arrive at Gringotts Bank tomorrow morning at ten o’clock sharp.
Please note that the presence of your son, William Weasley, is crucial. His attendance is necessary to address specific and pressing matters that cannot be resolved without him.
The nature of these matters is of the utmost importance, and your prompt attendance is essential to ensure that everything is handled with due care. Please be prepared to discuss not only familial affairs but also matters of heritage and title that concern the Weasley lineage.
We look forward to your timely arrival. Failure to attend may result in serious consequences regarding these affairs.
Yours in trust,
Ragnok
King of the Goblin Nation
By the end of the letter, Arthur was confused. Why did he need to bring both his wife and kids with him? Especially Bill? What was so important for them to be there? And what Lordship? His father had made it sure that he never received it because both himself and Molly were Dumbledore followers and refused to turn their backs fighting next to him against the dark lord and his followers.
Sighing, there's only one thing to do. He would take the next day off and talk to his wife and kids when he arrived back at the Burrow, and the next day, they would all go to the bank to see what was needed from them. It's a good thing that Charlie would arrive that evening for his week long vacation from Romania.
He just hoped that it was nothing bad and just something minor.

(Hogwarts, right after leaving Gringotts at 11:00am)
Arriving back to his office after nearly being thrown out and banned from Gringotts, Dumbledore destroys his office for a second time in an hour. As he paced in his office, he kept muttering angrily, “How dare those vial creatures treat me like this? Don't they know who I am? It's a good thing that I'm planning to tighten their leash in the next Wizengamot session. How dare those bastards forbid me from seeing the child? And why were the Tonks, Amelia, and Fudge the idiot there? It's a good thing that Fudge is there, I'll go see him in a few hours, play him like the fool that he is and make him tell me everything that happened during the meeting and why he was needed there. Of course, after he hears his gullible deputy headmistress side, I can't believe that stupid girl didn't need any compulsions or spells to make her do most of the work for me in this school or anything I wanted without any question asked.”
The old goat started his plans to get both McGonagall when she got back and Fudge when he returned to the ministry to tell them about the boy and everything that happened at the meeting. From what he gets told, he would adjust the plans that he made for the Black boy before he thought that the boy had died.
With his focus on planning, he didn't notice that an hour had passed until an owl arrived with the Daily Prophet new edition that made Dumbledore choke on his own air.

Dumbledore Denied: Goblins Show Hogwarts Headmaster the Door!
By: Rita Skeeter
In an astonishing turn of events at Gringotts Bank yesterday, none other than Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts, was unceremoniously thrown out of the prestigious wizarding bank. Witnesses report that Dumbledore, who attempted to force his way into a private meeting requested by none other than Ragnok, King of the Goblins, was refused entry by Gornuk, a high-ranking Gringotts official.
Dumbledore's insistence that he be allowed to attend the meeting, under the guise of ensuring the well-being of a mysterious "student," was met with staunch resistance by Gornuk, who pointedly reminded the headmaster that only Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall had been invited. The situation escalated when goblin guards were summoned, forcing a red-faced Dumbledore to storm out in fury, leaving onlookers - myself included - stunned.
Among those invited to the meeting were Amelia Bones, the respected head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic, and the elusive Tonks couple. Though the details of the meeting remain shrouded in secrecy, it appears that the goblins have grown tired of Dumbledore's long-standing influence. Could it be that his grasp on power is slipping? Or perhaps more concerning - is there a darker reason behind the exclusion of one of the most powerful wizards of our time?
Speculation runs wild about the identity of the "student," Dumbledore referred to. Has Hogwarts been hiding a dangerous child within its walls, or is there more to the story than even Dumbledore knows? One thing is certain, the Goblin Nation seems to have no problem showing the venerable headmaster that his influence holds little weight in their domain.
As more information about this intriguing event comes to light, I will be there, quill in hand, to bring you the truth.
------------------
Reading what Skeeter had written about him, again, Dumbledore's magic exploded. The portraits had no idea what's actually written, but they were glad that it's ruining any plans that the current sorry excuse of a headmaster is planning. No proper wizard or witch would ever try to harm or kill a child just to make themselves even more powerful. He's already ruined any chance that the children receive any proper education from all the subjects he's canceling or removing.
Seeing the looks that he was receiving from the portraits, especially Phineas Black, Dumbledore, couldn't help but gloat to him in anger. “If I were you, Phineas, I would remove the smile from that face. After all, soon enough, your family line is going to end with your descendant. Turns out, Sirius's bastard is still alive, and my plans for him are going to make me a god in the wizarding world and everyone would turn to his father wanting to kill him too for not killing him before becoming the dark lord.”
Not believing that the boy was still alive, PureBlood or Half-Blood, there's still hope that a Black not a Malfoy, would still lead the family again. Phineas, playing it cool and not showing that he's both pissed and angry, told the bastard, “No matter what you do, there's always going to be black that would lead this family.”
Snorting at that, with an evil laugh, Dumbledore told him, “Keep dreaming. Soon enough, the Black Family would cease to exist.”
With that, the bastard left the office to meet with his most loyal followers as he laughed at the fuming look that Phineas was giving him.

(Leaky Cauldron, 12:45pm)
As they left the Leaky Cauldron, both Oskar and Pandora were chuckling at what Rita Skeeter wrote about Dumbledore. Wanting to take their time as they walked towards Gringotts, they forgot about it when they heard Oskar's name being called from behind them by Andromeda. Turning around, they both saw that she was accompanied by Harry, who was eyeing him up and down like he had seen Oskar somewhere before.
Giving them a warm smile, Oskar extended his hand as he said, “It's good to meet you, Harry, I'm Oskar. You guys are right on time. Let's head to Gringotts. The sooner, the better.”
Shaking his hand, out of curiosity, Harry had to ask, “Nice to meet you, but who are you?”
Not wanting to have that kind of talk out in the open, especially since some people had been eyeing him ever since he and Pandora had entered the Leaky Cauldron for a bite to eat, Oskar told him, “We'll talk in more details at the bank, as it is safer from prying ears.”
Rolling with his gut feeling about him, Harry nodded, and they started walking towards the bank. Harry is still a bit confused as to why that many people were interested in him right now, especially the Minister. As they walked, he couldn't stop thinking that if they finally believed him when he, Ron, and Hermoine told them that Sirius is innocent. Even so, that still did not explain why his disowned cousin would be present with them as well.
When they reached Gringotts and entered they were met with the same guard that they met earlier that day and escorted them to the meeting room where they were met with Griphook.
As the door was closed behind them, Griphook said, “Lady Lovegood, young Lord Peverel-Gagos-Black, heir Potter, and Mrs. Tonks, please have a seat to start our meeting.”
Looking confused at what was being said, Harry asked, “What do you mean heir Potter? Why did you call them Lord and Lady? Since when is there nobility here? And I thought Sirius was the last of the Black family? Are you a cousin of his or something? Why did your parents never check if he's actually innocent or not?...”
The goblins and Pandora already knew this, but nevertheless, just like Andromeda, they were mad on Harry's behalf for what was hidden from him. Even more, this was more proof that Dumbledore had a hand in this by lying to the boy and hiding his true heritage.
As Pandora tried to calm Andromeda down, Griphook asked Harry, “I assume you never received the letters that we've been sending you since your eleventh birthday regarding your Heirships and vaults?”
Giving a more confused look, Harry asked in return, “What letters? What do you mean Heirships and vaults? I only have one vault that my parents left me, which I've been using since Hagrid brought me here the summer right before my first year at school. Also, can someone finally tell me who my other relatives are?”
Andromeda really wanted to kill Dumbledore right now, but they needed to know the full extent of what he did. So she told him, “I promise you that everything will be explained afterwards. But first, in order to have a full scope to why you were never told or informed of anything, you must perform an inheritance test as it should explain some of the questions that you asked and we have.”
Putting a stack of parchments in front of him, as he handed Harry a small knife, Griphook explained to make a small cut into his finger and drop seven drops of blood to give his full inheritance test. As for Harry, he did what he was told as he wanted to know what the hell was going on.
Oskar, who was sitting to Harry's right, watched him hesitantly take the knife, make a small cut to his finger, and drop seven drops to the parchment. It then glowed, and words started forming.

---------------------
Harry stared at what was written, eyes blinking fast, not believing what was written. Sirius has a son? Is he Oskar? Then his thoughts trailed to how the headmaster could do this to him? How dare he lie to him? Screw that. Who the hell does he think to steal from him? And he was living as a damn servant to his fucking aunt and her sorry excuse of a family like a charity case when not only were they paid, but the damn house was his? Voldemort is in his head? Did the old bastard know that his scar was whatever it is holding part of Voldemort fucking soul? Is that why he kept forcing him to stay with the Dursleys? Merlin, Fred is my freaking Soulmate? Are they on it so there's loyalty to them or is it it the bastard's doing? And the basted put an Anti-Homosexuality on him to show he wasn't interested.
As he read the parchments again, lost in his own thoughts, both Pandora and Andromeda were fuming at what they were reading. Even though Pandora already knew, knowing was one thing but seeing it with her own eyes made her more angrier than she already was.
In Andromeda case, she was ready to commit genocide. Not only was it a miracle that the boy is still alive, but he had been living for over a decade with a damn Horcrux in his head and no one bothered to fucking check? Didn't Dumbledore when he found him that day? Didn't Poppy see it in her yearly examination? Oh Merlin, that means that the dark lord is still out there somewhere waiting for the right moment to come back.
So Andromeda quickly took charge by politely asking Griphook, “Is it possible for your healers to…”
Griphook raised his hand and told her, “We suspected a similar outcome to this when we talked earlier today and have a team of healers waiting for him at our infirmary.”
At their voices, Harry snapped his head towards Oskar and asked, sounding betrayed, “Are you him? Are you Oskar?”
Giving him a nod, Oskar told him, “Lady Lovegood found me today when she was contacted by deputy headmistress McGonagall after my name appeared in Hogwarts book of admittance. I did my inheritance test this morning and read about Sirius being my father, his issue and you being my blood adopted brother.”
When Harry was about to ask something again, Oskar added, “I promise we'll talk more later, but first you really need to go and take off all those things that were put on you.”
Giving him a hesitant nod, but then remembered, Harry turned towards Griphook and asked, “What's this Horcrux exactly and how is Voldemort in my head? And would it hurt when it's removed?”
Andromeda flinched at the name, Griphook told him, “Everything is easily removed in no time, except for your magical core where it would be removed on multiple stages for your own safety and ours as no one should have that much magical core locked. But, the Horcrux, I will not lie, it is going to be hurtful as it's part of his soul that has been put there, accidentally or not when he was supposedly vanquished by you. That alone could take over an hour or two as a Horcrux was never meant to be put on a living human, and you would most probably feel tired and sleep afterwards. The faster we remove them the better. Everything will be explained afterwards.”
Nudging him, Oskar told him, “Go, the faster it's removed the better. We'll be here waiting for you afterwards.”
Nodding, a guard walked into the room as Harry told Griphook, “Thank you for helping me, sir.”
Giving him a nod, Griphook told him, “It is the least we could do to you heir Potter after everything that has been done to you, and it will be rectified after you've been cleansed of everything.”
Thanking him again, Harry was led by the guard to the healing room to have everything removed.
Once Harry was out, Oskar asked Andromeda like he had no idea what it was, “So, how bad is this Horcrux?”
