The Letter and The House Change
At breakfast Hedwig swooped down and dropped Sirius and Remus’s letter. As soon as Harry got it he ran up to his dorm and waited for Theo.
As soon as Theo came, they opened and read the letter together. As soon as they had both read it, they cried tears of joy. They were overjoyed that both of Harry’s dads had accepted them.
They may have had good news, however in Dumbledore’s office, it was a different story.
Harry Potter is a Slytherin. Harry Potter is a Slytherin. The sorting hat repeated. Dumbledore was at a loss for words, this hadn’t happened since Tom Riddle went to Hogwarts.
You see, Tom Riddle wasn’t always a Slytherin, he used to be a Ravenclaw. That was until the sorting hat changed its mind about him. What most people don’t know is the fact that the sorting hat can see your future, your destiny if you will. And nobody is sure what, but when Tom Riddle was in school he did something one day that completely changed his future. And that’s what changed his Hogwarts House.
But what did Harry do, you ask? Well that’s your about to find out. How, you ask? Well, with a time turner of course.
Back in time, about 1943:
“Lucius, Truth or Dare?” One of Lucius’s friends asked.
Lucius hesitated before replying, “Dare.” He said almost instantly regretting his decision.
“I dare you to kiss Tom.” The friend said.
Lucius’s eyes went wide before he hesitantly leaned over the bottle of fire whiskey and kissed Tom.
Both the boys tried to act like they hated the kiss. Even though they both enjoyed it. They tried to hide the fact that they were secretly dating.
After a few more rounds the boys decided to head to their dorms. Lucius and Tom shared one, because of course, what could go wrong.
“Tom.” Lucius said playfully.
“Yeah, Luce?” Tom replied.
“I enjoyed that kiss.” Lucius said almost proudly for some reason.
“Well duh, you were kissing the hottest guy on Earth.” Tom said making Lucius roll his eyes.
“I know Tommy.” Lucius said.
“Don’t call me that.” Tom said and Lucius couldn’t tell if he was serious or not.
“Sorry Tom.” Lucius said the kissed the bridge of Tom’s nose before falling asleep.
Tom fell asleep soon after, but not before staring at his beautiful blonde boyfriend. Tom felt so luck to have him, especially since not many people hung out with him, not that he really cared. All he cared about was protecting Lucius from harm. He made sure to do that, Lucius was his, and he was Lucius’s.
While that was going on in dorm number 309. Dumbledores office was a different story.
Tom Riddle is Slytherin. Tom Riddle is Slytherin. The sorting hat kept repeating.
Dumbledore didn’t know what to say, Tom Riddle was one of his best students. Why was the sorting hat suddenly switching his house.
Time skip to present day Hogwarts:
So how did it happen, there are three main factors Nott-Pott (Theo x Harry) and Lom Ralfoy (Lucius x Tom). (1) They were both gay couples (2) They both had dorm 309 and (3) They both consisted of a Slytherin x another house.
What reason do you think caused this sudden change in destiny. Or was it all three.
Who. Fucking. Knows.
