Theodore Nott was a man of his word, when someone asked him to do a task he did it.

Theodore Nott took great pride in all of his work, when someone gave him a goal he worked hard to achieve it.

Theo stood amongst the rubble, the dust settling all around him. Several bodies were laid in a pile, none moving. He was glancing about as his compatriots were collecting their prizes and rummaging through the debris. A bloody hand here, an unconscious witch there, an old wizard breathing his last breaths. Pathetic.

In Theo’s eyes it was all pathetic. Sure plenty were murdered, but it could have been grander, it could have been…delicious. His eyes befell his old school friend who was lifting his prize on his shoulder, a bushy haired young woman, a Gryffindor, and worst of all a mudblood. Theo never understood Draco’s obsession with the girl. Sure she wasn’t ugly, but there were far better prizes to be had. He shrugged to himself, and walked over to another masked compatriot.

“ Hello Blaze. What do you have there?” he casually leaned over the tall man’s shoulder.

Blaze was crouching over the body of a red-hair boy, who was always with the bushy-haired one. “I believe it’s one of the Weasleys.” he answered in his even and deep tone. It always made Theo shiver when Blaze spoke.

“Dead?” he asked him expectantly.

“No, he lives, as you know the instructions were clear not to kill him, not yet anyway.” he said standing up and straightening his robes.

Blaze always did keep his clothes particularly spotless. Theo pouted in response.

“Quit your yapping, and start rounding up the ones that were asked to be spared.” commanded Draco.

“I’m afraid I can't, darling, my query isn’t here today, and I doubt He will be happy if I come empty handed. But I doubt even more He will want me to bring him this rubbish.” he said apologetically, then kicked a dead witch lying on the ground in the abdomen and laughed.

Draco just shook his head at him and walked away, always the serious one. He used to be way more fun, but then he got his Mission and it was like he forgot how to. Boring.

Theo hated when it was boring.

Blaze levitated the Weasley boy, following Draco out. Theo rolled his eyes, and took a look around once more. No red haired Weasley girl, how unfortunate.

He apparated out to the street, he knew the place well enough by now, 12 Grimmauld Place, he was not looking forward to bringing bad news to Him.

Theo knocked on the door, but it creaked open and a grimy old house elf was there to greet him. “Welcome back Master Nott, he’s been expecting you.” Theo nodded at Kreacher, and walked inside the musty house. It was quiet, much too quiet.

Theo hated when it was this quiet.

He walked into the kitchen where He was with a mug of hot tea, his face hidden in shadow.

“So, were you successful?” He asked.

“We were, but I was not, She was not there.” Theo replied.

“I know, there was a change of plans.” He answered, blowing on his cup.

“Oh? I was not informed.” Theo said, his jaw tensing.

“I’m aware of that Nott, as you recall you disobeyed me, I decided this was your punishment.” He said, and Theo could hear wisps of a smile.

“How kind of you, my Lord.” Theo answered, careful to not grit his teeth.

“Don’t worry, you have a new objective, you will now bring me the girl from her home.” He explained.

“Her home? Where the rest of her family lives and which all can hex me upon entry?” Theo asked, sarcasm lacing his words.

“That’s right, but you will not hurt any of them, I just want the girl.” he said, stepping out of the shadow. His green eyes flickered with malice behind his round glasses. “I believe I can trust you to not fuck this up?”

“Yes My Lord.” replied Theo.

Once outside Theo lit up a cigarette, took a long drag and exhaled. One of the few muggle things that Theo enjoyed, especially because wizard pipes didn’t look particularly cool.

He looked around making sure no one was around and cast the apparition charm. A familiar tug on his body and he was out in a field of tall grass with the Burrow visible off in the distance.

He knew the floor plan because He told him, and it sounded ridiculous. Seeing it in person was even more ridiculous.

He threw his unfinished cigarette into the grass and started walking toward the house. When he was near, he took the roundabout way to make sure to avoid any windows that would face him and the entrance.

Then he smelled it; burning.

He glanced behind to see that the tall dry grass started to come up in flames, perfect, and then it was show time.

After a few minutes the inhabitants of the Burrow started stirring and running outside screaming “FIRE!”. A plump older woman, a greying older man, clearly the parents. A tall red haired man followed, he remembered that one used to have a twin, those two were at least admired by him and his friends. They caused chaos, and Theo loved chaos.

At last he saw her. A young ginger woman, with shoulder-length hair, wearing a jumper, muggle jeans and trainers ran out but was further back than the rest of the Weasley clan.

He quietly stepped behind her, grabbed her from behind and quickly apparated them away back to the street in front of Grimmauld. She knocked him in the ribs with her elbow and rounded on him with her wand.

“What's the meaning of this? Who are you?” She questioned, wand pointing at him. He held his hands up, he forgot he was still wearing his mask.

“I surrender, may I take my mask off to show you who I am?” He asked politely.

“No! Don’t you dare move, just tell me!” She continued, her hand shaking from either fear or cold.

“I shall if you lower your wand.” He replied, gesturing at her wand hand.

“Only if you put yours away!” She spat.

“Expelliarmus!” sounded a voice behind her, and Theo’s wand flew out of his hand and landed nearby. He grinned under his mask.

“Oh my god! HARRY!” The red haired young woman pocketed her wand and rushed towards Harry Potter standing at the entrance to 12 Grimmauld Place. She ran up to him and hugged him.

“What is happening Harry, this person just took me here, it’s all so random. There was a fire at the Burrow! The field was on fire! We need to get back-!” She just kept talking, words spilling out while Harry stood wand slowly pointed in her direction. She noticed this.

“-wait, what are you doing? Harry? Are you okay? Harry?! HARRY NO-“ he cast stupefy and she froze in place before falling forward where he caught her.

“Nott? Don’t just stand there, come and take her.” He ordered Theo. Theo picked up his wand and went to take the girl by levitating her body.

“Where do you wish me to take her, my lord?” Asked Theo.

“Take her home, prepare her, and in due time I will call for her. For now consider it your main mission. But DO NOT get carried away you hear me? Is that understood?” He eyed him carefully, green in his eyes shining like emeralds.

“Yes, My lord.”
