After the prank
Sitting awkwardly in his once lively dorm room. Remus thought back on the recent events, Sirius betraying him, snape knowing he is a werewolf. Nothing in his life could ever go right. Not even his own friendships. James and Peter were angry at Sirius too but they just never got what it felt like to be betrayed by your own best friend. They kept telling him to stop being so angry and it was just a mistake but it was done now and nothing could change the fact that Snape knew, and soon enough so would everyone else. Even if some people wouldn't believe him everything would change. James and peter just never got it they never got how angry he was. How hurt he was...
Fed up with everyone Remus decided to go to the one person he could always rely on. Madam Pomphrey. It may seem weird to others but Remus knew deep down she cared about him and loved him more than anyone in his life ever had. He walked through the medical wing door careful not to make a lot of noise so he wouldn't wake up anyone who was sleeping. "Madam Pomphrey?" Remus called out to the nearly empty wing. A blonde Slytherin turned her head around the corner of one of the beds and whispered something to madam Pomphrey who was finishing up on a mildly injured Slytherin. "Oh Remus don't be shy come over here" Madam Pomphrey called back. "so what brings you here today?". Remus looks around shyly before murmuring "I had an argument with Sirius James and peter". A Slytherin with short hair, texture almost identical to Sirius look at Remus as soon as he mentions Sirius. The Slytherin exclaimed "SIRIUS!? what did he do this time?" Remus stared in shock as this random Slytherin nor he or any of the other marauders had every spoken to rambled on about Sirius always doing something wrong. he was interrupted by someone Remus knew this time, Bart crouch Jr a Slytherin only 2 years younger than remus, "Reggie I don't think he knows who you are". The black haired Slytherin stopped talking for a few seconds before continuing "im regulus, Sirius' younger brother? im not shocked he never spoke about me." Remus mustered up the courage to ask "oh and whys that?" Regulus stated "Well he isn't exactly liked in the family, mother and father are leaving the family inheritance to me. I mean I wish it wouldn't affect us as brothers but i've been told by mother that he must just be jealous. Of course I doubt he's a fan of mother" A few seconds of silence follows regulus' words until he turns back to his friends and whispers "did I say too much about the family" Everyone around him nods. Conversations continued as normal -well as normal as possible- and Remus was introduced to everyone. The blonde one he saw at the front was Pandora Rosier The one in the hospital bed was Evan Rosier, Pandoras twin brother Lucius and Narcissa were also there he knew they were in an older year probably only a few years ahead of him he believed, as Sirius used to constantly talk about how he didn't want to attend their wedding.
They all lost track of time but about two hours after they had started talking madam Pomphrey came over and told Evan he could leave now and go back to doing whatever he was previously doing. Remus assumed this would be the last he saw of them, but before they started to leave Pandora invited him to sit with them at Dinner. Remus confusedly asked how that would work. Narcissa replied "easy, Evan has a spare robe and Lucius has a spare tie if you use both of them you could easily pass for being a Slytherin. All your stupid "friends" will think is that you simply didn't show up for dinner. Honestly look at them they aren't even smart. "Remus laughed at the last remark. Even though he was still nervous and in doubt he reckoned it would be worth a try, maybe just for today...
Pandora, Evan, Lucius, Narcissa and Regulus all leaded Remus around the dungeons before eventually stopping Infront of the Slytherin common room door. Pandora told Remus to take his tie and robe of before we go in just in case. Regulus takes a step Infront of the door and says the very predictable password 'Pureblood'. Trying not to draw any attention to Remus all of them make their way up to Lucius' dorm. As they waited for Lucius to find his spare tie, Evan ran quickly to his dorm to get his spare robe. As Remus finished tying his tie, Evan ran in with the robe in hand "quickly if we want our seats in the great hall were gonna have to go soon." Barty blurted out as Remus started putting on his new robe. After they finished they all raced down to the great hall (with Remus at an obvious disadvantage). Eventually Remus made his way out of the confusing dungeons and ran up to the great hall and made it there dead last. He walked in and looked around and saw a spot next to regulus. "Hey sorry it took me so long, I got a tiny bit lost" Remus said truthfully as he took his seat next to regulus. "no, your just here at the perfect time and it is our fault for not teaching the way around the dungeons better" Pandora apologised. Remus Immediately felt bad and stammered "n-no its not that you did it bad... its just im not um good at... umm directions!". Pandora let out a little laugh and between giggles said "no need to be so nervous we're all friends here!" Evan changing the subject exclaimed curiously "so tell us about you Remus, what do you like?" Remus pondered for a moment before replying "well... I like reading books, I like dada, I like hanging out with friends, I like my jumpers and I like... s- actually never mind." Evan stops for a second before blurting out unexpectedly "oh well, Regulus likes books too maybe you two could really get along! And we all like to hang out so I think were going to have a great time together!!" Remus' eyes lit up as if he wasn't expecting anyone to actually like him. "I guess we could try to get along as long as I don't need to hear evan down my ear moaning at me for not talking to people" Regulus said while angrily smiling at Evan. Remus looked round noticing he hadn't heard Lucius or narcissa in a while only to see they were just talking between themselves. Albus dumbledore made his little speech and started the feast, but looking at james and peter talking to Sirius so calmly made Remus feel sick. Remus tried to keep himself distracted by talking to the slytherins but his eyes kept wondering back to the Gryffindor table. After what seemed like forever Pandora spoke up "soo does anyone want to go to Hogsmeade after this". Evan and barty excitedly squeeled "yes" while regulus nodded in agreement. "oh sorry Pan, Me and Lucius have an important test coming up maybe next time?" Narcissa sighed. "sorry, I don't think I can I probably don't have enough galleons" Remus muttered. Pandora looked surprised and quickly said "Who said you were paying its our treat for our new friend!!" Remus' face went red from embarrassment "no you guys can go without me it'll be fine" he murmered. "Just go, Pan's never going to stop asking you until you agree" Evan and Barty say in unison. Remus looked down and finally agreed "but don't think your buying anything expensive" Remus said. Pandora looked at evan and barty as they both gave a slight chuckle getting up from the table.
"How are we going to get there though? The train to hogsmeade isnt in service right now" Regulus asked blankly. Pandora,Evan and Barty stood confused for a second before ultimatey Remus decided to point out he knew a way.Regulus shrugged and stood up ready to go.Pandora skipped towards the exit of the great hall leaving the other three to follow along. Once outside of the great hall Remus lead them to the statue of the one eyed women and whispered an incantation so quiet that none of the slytherins could here it! He waited impatiently until they heard a creeeaakkkk come from the old, scratched statue. Everyone started to make their way down to the secret passageway -Remus so vividly remembers- in awe.
