What's up?
Severus felt oddly happy and energetic by the time he arrived in the Great Hall.
He didn't even noticed anymore that practically everyone had a smiley in front of their face.
As he walked down between the tables, he couldn't help but smile and even waved at some students as they greeted him- well, in reality they only looked at him weirdly, and somehow Severus brain has took it as e greeting.
He looked around for a place to sit, and saw a familiar group of students sitting at the Slytherin table.
Severus smiled and sat down next to Avery, who looked at him, "What's up with you?"
Severus chuckled and shrugged, "What do you mean?"
Avery rolled his eyes, feeling like Severus was only messing with him and glances back down at his plate as starts eating again.
Mulciber and Wilkes shared a glance, before looking back at Severus. They, along with Avery, had never seen Severus this happy before.
Mulciber leaned closer to the Severus, "Have you been smoking something, Potions?"
Severus chuckled again and turned to Mulciber, looking at his smiley and trying not to laugh at how ridiculous it looked.
"Of course not." Severus said while shaking his head, "I'd probably be on the floor right now if I was high, you know I'm a light weigh."
The boys chuckled, except Avery. He didn't want to believe that Severus was this happy. It felt unnatural. But he didn't comment.
"Then what's up with you today?" Mulciber asked with an amused voice, "You're literally glowing with happiness."
"Aww, just let him be happy." Charity says, who was sitting next to Severus.
Severus looked over at Charity, looking at her smiley and feeling even more happy.
"I am!" Severus said happily, as Mulciber and Wilkes chuckled.
Avery looked between the five, and he couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Severus? Happy? What's wrong with him?
"Are you sure you're not high?" Avery asked, and looked at Severus's smiley face with narrowed eyes. "Because that is very weird behavior."
Severus waved off Avery's comment, "I swear it isn't!" He said, though it didn't seem that convincing.
His hand was shaking lightly, but other than that, he was normal, except for the fact that he was too damn happy.
Wilkes leans his chin on Avery's shoulder.
"Aww, let him be happy for once." Wilkes teased.
Avery rolled his eyes, but said nothing more. He would have to watch Severus from close to see what's going on- He shoved Wilkes away as he notices how close he was, trying to hide his blush as he quickly continues to eat.
Severus smiled and looked around the room, the smiley infront of everyones faces still looking like a hilarious joke.
He glanced at the teacher table, and smiled wider, watching how ridiculous the teachers looked- how Dumbledore looked.
