Avery
Summary
Draco and Hermione have been engaged since they were little; when they were born into this world, to be exact, because Lucius Malfoy made sure of that. He ensured that he got the oldest, purest pureblood family in England, named Hermione, to be his daughter-in-law before anybody else.
Note
I just love the idea of Draco and Hermione being soulmates/engaged. 🤭

I only say I LOVE YOU, to you

I Love You..

Avery woke up in her room alone. She was having a dream about the day when Draco once said the words. She remembered it clearly; that was Christmas Day she spent at Malfoy Manor. Their parents were inside talking with each other and having some tea.

"I only say I love you to you," Draco said. It was snowing. They were sitting on the bench by the fire outside the manor, under the tree. Draco made the fire.

Avery looked at the snow, the stars, the trees, the flowers in the garden—Avery's favorite—and the man, her future husband, her betrothed, with Draco's arms around her. Everything was so perfect that day.

Draco said, "Thank you for loving me."

"But I never said the word," she smiled.

"But I can feel it," Draco said.

"Here," he grabbed Avery's hand and put it on his chest, right above his heart, looking into her eyes.

Avery kissed his lips, hugged him, and asked, "How many children do you want to have?"

"You decide."

"I want two, just like me and my brother."

"Alright, whatever you want."

"Je pense que tu seras un bon mari et père."

"Impressive, you can learn everything, mon amour."

Draco hugged her tightly. "Quoi qu'il arrive dans le futur, souviens-toi toujours que je te dis seulement que je t'aime."

"Oui."

In her room, above her table, she was staring at Draco's gift she had already prepared and thinking that this is going to be a hard week for her because it's Draco's birthday, and she doesn't think she's strong enough to face him. Just looking into his eyes, knowing what he feels at the moment, she could see that he had a disturbed face while looking at her, like he didn't like looking at her face. Their distance seemed to be expanding even though she wanted to speak to him. But she knew better: if Draco wanted to, he would come to her; he always did. They could not go a day without looking at each other's faces, but everything was different now.

Things change.
