“What’s Going On?” - James Potter/GN!reader
You didn’t have a good day, but you were happy to finally be home. Hopefully your boyfriend, James, would be home. He always made you feel better.
“James,” you called, your voice cracking, closing the door.
“Love,” he said as he came out of the kitchen and rushed over to you.
You breathed a sigh of relief. You were safe once again in the strong arms of James. He guided you into the kitchen, sitting you on the counter, before giving you a big kiss.
“What’s going on?”
You explain what happened and he cupped your cheek, “I’m sorry that happened.” He gave you a quick kiss before he looked at the food he’d been making, before asking, “would you like to have some of your favourite comfort food? I thought I’d make some for you.” He chuckled. “I’m glad I did now.”
You nod and he dishes some out for you. The two of you move to the living room to eat while watching tv. Though you weren’t paying attention to what was playing. You were eating while leaning against your boyfriend. Finally happy again.
