You knew your close friend had been keeping a secret from you. You were a little concerned but as long as he wasn’t hurting himself or others, then you wouldn’t worry about it. Well, you had secrets of your own, so you’d let him keep his.
“Hey darling,” he drawled like he normally did when he said that. “Come with me. I’ve got something to show you.”
You went with him without a second thought. When you entered the boys dorm, you turned to him. “What’s going on?”
You sat on his bed as he stood in front of you, “I’m an animagus.”
You just stared at him for a moment. “An animagus?” He nodded. “What do you turn into?”
“Watch and see for yourself.” He morphed and sitting in his place was a big black dog.
You slid off the bed, kneeling in front of him. You held out your hand, moving to pat his fur, but he lifted his paw and placed it in your hand.
He was such a cute dog. You lifted your other hand and started patting him as you put his paw back on the ground. Moving your hand closer to his ear, you gave him a scratch behind it, his tail thumping on the floor.
“Do you like that?”
He barked. You smiled at him; your excitement growing by the second and you started giggling at his actions.
“Do you want me to keep going?”
He barked again and rolled over, so you could scratch his stomach.
