Summary
The shrieking shack locks remus and sirius together.
Note
Sirius/remus - race against time.

"Pads go i'll turn soon!" Remus shouted from the corner of the shrieking shack.

"I can't unlock the door!" Sirius said scratching away at the wood. They stared at each for a second dread in their eyes. "I'll pick the lock!" The black haired boy said suddenly. He patted himself down for a moment before reaching into his school uniforms shirt pocket and pulled out a bobby pin.

Remus started to groan, feeling the pull on his bones and the ache in his muscles. "Pads I'll kill you be quick." His voice lowered from the pain making him weak.

Sirius never learnt to pick locks. He guessed and jammed it in the bolt in the door. Their wands were left outside so sirius couldn't even defend himself. He hears a scream from Remus that made him jab harder into the door.

Remus' transformation had begun. He was screaming / howling/ shouting in pure agony. He managed to get out, "sirius transform."

Pads- the dog- wouldn't be able to get through the door but sirius could if he could just get the right angle. He hears a snap and the next thing he knows Remus is whispering right behind him, "I'm sorry."

Moony rips sirius apart limb by limb. Arms first, then legs, then lower torso and then finally his head. He hadn't had enough time to escape in the end.

Remus never forgave himself for killing sirius. Never. Neither did regulus or Peter. James understood but they didn't speak after school. Every second he thought he would always remember he did this.
