Untamed.
Brilliant. Ferocious.
A tornado tearing through obstacles. Unstoppable.
That’s how she used to be.
Now, she sits by his side, muted. Docile, thin. He starves her. She acquiesces obediently, a mere shell of herself.
“You tamed the shrew,” the idiot’s friends laugh. “You won the wager, Ron.”
She smiles demurely. Parrots Weasley’s inane observations.
Theo aches with longing. Misses arguing with her, passion in her eyes.
I love you, he whispers. Come back. Fight it.
Something shifts. Her head lifts, fire smoldering.
She stands. Drops her cursed wedding ring in Weasley’s drink.
Strides towards Theo. Smiles.
Free. Brave.
Untamed.
