𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦

𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 was lots of things. To Xenophilius Lovegood she was a sister. To the marauders she was the fifth member of their group, their sister in all but blood. Some viewed her as odd, although not as odd as her brother, but she was adored by most. With her bubbly attitude, and her dreamy disposition she had a way of lighting up the room without even trying.

But this all changed on a cold night in August, barely a month after she graduated. She disappeared after an Order meeting, the only sign of her disappearance being her blood staining the ground and some tatters of her clothing in the forest a couple of miles from where the order met.

While her friends and family argued that it didn't mean she was dead as there was no sign of her body, after raiding the abandoned house the death eaters had been using as a base and freeing several prisoners while still finding no trace of Athena, they were forced to accept her death.

A small funeral was held and her family and friends would visit her grave to talk to her, or place fresh flowers on it. Eventually Harry Potter was born, and a year after that, Luna Lovegood, named in honour of her late aunt. Voldemort was defeated and Peter Pettigrew's betrayal was discovered. And while life moved on, Athena Lovegood was never forgotten.

In a cottage in Grodric's Hollow James Potter sat in the kitchen with Sirius Black and Remus Lupin while Lily Potter pottered around the kitchen. It wasn't long after she sat down when there was a flash of light over the kitchen table and a letter floated down onto the plate of cookies that had just been set down.

The Great Hall in Hogwarts was loud as it always was at lunch time. At the Gryffindor table sat Harry Potter with his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. They had also been joined by Harry's girlfriend Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood.

They hadn't been there long when the doors of the hall opened and in came Xenephilius Lovegood, the Potters, the Lupin-Black's, the Weasley's, the Tonks' the Malfoys along with other wizarding families and ministry workers.

“Dumbledore, what's going on?” James questioned.

Dumbledore, genuinely surprised as to why so many of his former students had arrived in the Great Hall, looked confused. “I assure you I have no idea, but hopefully we can find out.”
As he finished speaking there was a flash, similar to the ones that had delivered the notes and on the table in front of him appeared a small projector accompanied by another note. Dumbledore picked it up to read out loud.

'This projector contains footage of events that take place about 16 years in the future.
No one is leaving Hogwarts until they've been watched.
At some stage some more guests will be brought to join you.

Murmurs rose around the hall as people questioned if they were telling the truth but Dumbledore was already standing up. "We will watch this footage, as I believe they are truthful, but first, let's make this more comfortable.”

It wasn't long until the tables were replaced with couches and the food was moved to the coffee tables that sat amongst them. The projector was pointed at a blank wall, lighting up the space as the film came into focus.
