It was 2 days into the summer holidays and Remus Lupin has officially begun his summer goal of not giving a fuck. This summer was going to be his summer he was gonna skate when he likes, drinks when he likes, do drugs is he likes, go out hen he likes, party when he likes and fuck as many bitches as he likes. He's positive his friends will join in on most of it as they normal do. His life revolves around his friends most the time even though their all dumb pieces of shit he still hangs about and gets into dumb shit with them. Most the time the go into fenced of areas with good skating ground and just chill and skate until the cops kick em out, they hang about the skate shop a lot as well, Jame's dad helped them set it up, they got a few regular's that come in either to chill and smoke or buy new skate gear. Another thing they do like a lot is smoke weed or cigarette's Remus couldn't care which.
Despite it only been 2 days since the school holidays started Remus has been home once in those 2 days and that was to sleep and shower. Hi home life isn't a bad as it could be like yeah his dad hits him some times and his mum is workaholic but at least they can afford stuff. Some people would probably argue against that and point out they state their bungalow is in but that doesn't mean anything some people just don't know what their talking about.He would often get picked on at school for it by the rich pricks but living the life he lives has taught him how to fight real good, the rich kids have had their head stuck in books their full life and last time Remus checked dictionary's don't teach you how to throw a decent punch. So yeah he got in a few fights at school as well as outside school but he can take care of himself just fine, plus he normally wins. Well it wasn't only his house he got picked on for it was also his oversized clothing, his outfits always contained baggy jorts or jeans that his feet would trail on with either a tight tank tee or a equally as baggy top. Him and his pals shared their cloths a lot of the time which they were all chill with as they shared most of their fashion thoughts.
Remus had just got a new board as he smashed his last one trying to go down a handrail, it was a total wipe out and worm tail had caught it on camera, he went to slide down but his board gave in and he slide down landing on his balls, it was so painful. This new board he picked up from their shop had the Santa Cruz hand in blue on the back with orange background to it, padfoot had told him the chicks will be totally amazed, what a bunch of bull why would the chicks care what brand his board is.
Their group all had their own nicknames, Sirius got the unfortunate name of padfoot after he walked out the girls bathroom with a pad wrapper attached to his shoe. Peter either got called Pete or wormtail, Remus cant quite remember how he got the name though. James just went by James most the time but sometime got called prongs and again Remus has no clue here the name came from. Remus got call Rem by some of the other local skaters and would get moony by his close friends, he got the name while high and trying to read out loud and mispronounced money.
James was like their leader he always seemed to have good ideas that the rest of the gang agreed with. His father is from India but moved to London to look for work then met Effie (James super hot mum) and decided to stay and have a family.James has mixed tanned skin with jet black messy mullet that is always full of sweat and grease though he claims the laddies dig the sweaty look, during their 2nd year at high school James got his bad with acne and still has the scars from it though not as noticeable now.He has dark brown eyes and a buff frame as he works out at the gym a lot, he's probably the strongest out the group when it comes to arm mussel. His nose is also very crooked from the amount of times its been punched, even before that his nose was always slightly of to the side inheriting his fathers looks. James was an only child his father being to old to have more children even though his mum wants more. James was also the richest out of all of them living in a low-middle class London his father worked in a pharmacy down the street, his mum was some sort of asda floor worker manger. It was rumored that Monty (James dad) was secretly cheating with one of his co-workers, Effie got so pissed that they had the police involved and no his parents are in couple therapy. Still dunno if the rumors were ever true but James doesn't like talking about it so nobody brings it up.
Wormtail was the quiet one of the group always filming stuff like skate tricks, party's, them dong dumb shit, late night drives and what not. Pete was probably the smartest out of the four of them and had a shot of real success in life, he wants to be a director. He lives with his mother and sister, doesn't speak with his father after him and his mum had a messy divorce when he was about 6. we've all agreed that wormtails older sister Enid is super fit and has good tits, wormtail obviously doesn't think this and gets mad or embarrassed every time someone asks is they can hit on his sister. He lives in the same street as padfoot so they grew up together, out of all of them wormtail is probably the worst skater of them all as he spends more time filming them then actually skating. Pete has blonde, shaggy, out grown bowl cut type hair that's been bleached to make lighter a few times with the lightest blue eyes Remus has ever seen, Pete has a larger frame as he has never quite grown out of his baby fat and more just grown with it. It wasn't really his fault his full family were more on the larger size, especially his mum, his sister suited the extra chub on her as she still had curves in all the right places. Pete was also the only one with a face piercing, they all has their ears pierced but peter had an eyebrow piercing. Padfoot had done it for him at some party, Remus was also meant to get his done but after seeing the amount of blood that came out of Pete e pussy-ed out. Pete was very much the guinea pig of their group, or rather the spy when their doing illegal business, which is either drug dealing or stealing.
Padfoot was they out of pocket, creative, total mental one, he was always up for a party or drugs or just hanging out whatever it was Sirius would be there. Remus would say that Sirius is his best-friend , they hang out the most and have the most in common especially when it come to music or their shitty home life. Sirius has messy shoulder length black hair, even though its black in certain light red dye shines through from the last time padfoot dyed his hair. He also had these beautiful grey eyes, Remus has never seen anyone with eyes like padfoot, he also has a skinny frame like Remus. They like to joke that padfoots jawline could cut paper(it probably could) but it suited his face shape. Sirius doesn't like talking about his looks and not because he thinks he's ugly because trust he knows he's not it because of his younger brother. Around 2 years ago Sirius younger brother Regulus drowned in the local river, him and Sirius looked very alike with the same hair and frame they main thing that was different was their eyes. Sirius wasn't the same for a long time, losing his brother was hard for him and probably still is but he doesn't let it affect him anymore.His parents stopped caring a while after Regulus died practically leaving Sirius to try survive for him self and them, which he does Sirius looks after his father when his mother is at work. His father got fired for not showing up to work after Regulus's death and hasn't had a job since which has left them behind on many bills, bills that Sirius works for and pays half. Despite all the bullshit he's been threw Sirius is still Sirius and never fails to make someone laugh, impress a girl, nail a hard trick first try or bribe everyone into going to a party. Padfoot being the oldest of the group is the one ho goes in with a fake ID to get booze and fags so without padfoot they'd never get to experience late night fun.
Remus doesn't know what member of the group he's say he is. Remus has a brown shaggy mullet that's longer than James, dark brown eyes and will sometimes nick his mum's eye make-up pencil think and rub it under his eyes like Kurt Cobain done. His dad caught his once and gave him a black eye and called him a faggot so he hasn't wore any since. While home Remus feels as though he is at a constant fear from his father, his father who seems to hate everything he does or says even hates the people he hangs around with. Remus wouldn't say he's good at school but wouldn't say he's bad either he's just around average, dunno how he skips most his classes, he'd rather smoke in the bathroom stall than sit and do math for 50 minutes. Out of the group is clear Remus is the best skater, he can do the most tricks and the hardest tricks, he doesn't like to admit that he's the better than them though. He also smokes a lot more than the rest do which is quite bad for him if he wants to keep up with the skating, Remus doesn't know what he's like to do with his life but making a career out of skating would be pretty cool.
Right now Remus is sitting on his board at the back of their shop smoking a joint. James is at the counter, wormtail will be somewhere inside and padfoot is in fornt of him skating about the smooth ground. It weirdly satisfying watching padfoot skate, the way he glides about so freely just amazes Remus even though he knows that he can do the same thing but just the way Sirius does is just cooler.
"you gonna sit their an smoke all day or you gonna get off your lazy ass and skate with me" Sirius said this as he came to a stop and sat beside Remus putting his hand out to take the joint off Remus.
"I'm thinking"
"about?"
"you know that old hospital that shut down a few weeks ago?, reckon we could get over that gate and i dunno check out how good the place is for skating." Remus took the joint back off Sirius taking a long inhale before handing it back.
"sure, I mean we'd have to drive or get the bus down unless we wanna go for a 2 hour hike."
"yeah I say we should go down tomorrow, wanna see what the other's think?"
"alright I mean I'm up for it" they both stood up picking up their board and heading inside to see what James and wormtail say to the idea, knowing there most likely going to agree.
when they got inside wormtail was chiiling watching the telly while James was speaking a red headed girl at the counter. Remus looked out the window o see how he assumed was here friends as they were giggling in staring at them talking. There was a pale blonde girl who had short hair that was about the same length as Sirius, actually her full outfit looked very punk inspired, she was wearing black short shorts and a tank tee and a lot of bracelets and a limp biskit red cap. The girl beside her was dark skinned with her hair in long braids that went down below her ass, she was wearing a denim mini skirt and a leopard print laced top with a large studded belt.The red head girl that was talking with James was dressed a bit different from the other 2 in a more 70s look with a denim mini skirt but a flowly flower patterned long sleeved to that had large flared bits at the end of the sleeve. Her red hair as curly and sat just underneath her shoulders.
"James is talking with the laddies? when'd she come in ?" padfoot looked down at wormtail who slowly looked up, Remus could see the red rimmed eyes and knew he was stoned immediately, padfoot must have caught on to as he shook his head and muttered a quick "never mind" before taking a seat beside wormtail. Remus took a seat down beside padfoot as well not knowing what else to do or say.
After what felt like a decade of watching MTV music videos the Red head finally left and James came and sat down beside Remus, hi face bright red and grinning.
"so care to explain what that was about?" Padfoot questioned staring James in the eye menacingly. They all moved into more of a circle to all hear what James was gonna say.
"she gave me her number, told me to call her, she wants to go out sometime soon with me ! can you believe that! Lily Evans asked me out on a date! WOO" James cheered giddy about the moment he just had. Remus just laughed lightly along with Sirius.
"wait i don't recognize the name, she in our year?" Pete asked seeming very lost on who Lily Evans was.
"Yes! she- shes the girl that we seen with the roller skates !"
"she's in top set classes no wonder you don't know her" Sirius joked knowing his classes weren't any better and no where near top set, Pete was actually closer to top set than him.
"OI you wanker I'm in higher classes than you!" wormtail argued back and Remus and James couldn't do anything but laugh at them.
"right well now that's out the way moony has this brilliant idea for tomorrow " padfoot completely patched what wormtail had said and just switched topic.
"yeah, was thinking we could get this bus down town near the abandonment hospital and go skating for the day. " Remus tried to light another fag while saying this but lighting seemed to be dead and wouldn't light, Sirius noticed this and handing him his lighting out his pocket.
"alright sure, wormy you in"
"yeah i guess so got nothing better to do"
"brilliant!, okay well meet yous here tomorrow usual time because Ive gotta get going home." Sirius said sitting up for his spot on the couch, picking up his board and walking out towards the door, it was 09:56 and Remus should probably get heading soon.
"wait up I'll walk home with you" Pete said standing up and chasing after padfoot, waving his goodbyes.
"should probably get closing up the shop then.?" James looked over at Remus as though he was asking him for permission to close the shop.
"yeah, I'll help then i gotta get home"
they closed up the shop for night locking the doors and windows, then said there goodbyes and went there opposite ways. Once home Remus realized there was no one else home even though the door had been left open. It was still early but Remus decided not to cause trouble and tidy up the kitchen a bit then went to bed setting his alarm for 9am so he could get up and be at the shop for 11am. Hopefully no other skaters had already claimed the hospital as there spot and they could go there to skate freely, thoughts of the way Sirius skates so smoothly flows through his head again. This confuses him why cant he stop thinking about Sirius its not like he's a ay better skater than him there about the same level so why can't he get these mental videos out his head?
