Chapter 4

Wanda and Henry sat at the kitchen table, attempting to get their two-year-old sons, Billy and Tommy, to eat. It was proving to be quite the challenge.

Tommy was chanting "No! No! No!" at superspeed while shaking his head back and forth. Before Wanda could even react, Tommy phased out of his seat and took off out of the kitchen in a blur.

"Tommy!" Wanda called after him, exasperated but unable to suppress a small smile at his antics. Henry immediately jumped up and dashed after Tommy, determined to bring the little speedster back.

Meanwhile, Billy was using his powers to turn his veggies into sweets.Wanda sighed, shaking her head in disbelief. "Billy, you can't just eat sweets all the time. You need your veggies too."

Billy pouted, clearly not convinced.

Wanda waved her hand and turned the sweets back into veggies. Billy's eyes widened in horror. "Nooo! My candy!"

"You need to eat your veggies, Billy," Wanda said "After you finish your veggies, we can talk about a treat."

Henry walked into the living room, his eyes scanning the area for his mischievous son. He spotted Tommy's tiny feet peeking out from behind the couch, and he couldn't help but smile at the toddler's giggles, thinking he had successfully hidden from his dad.

With a playful grin, Henry crept up behind the couch and, in one swift motion, scooped Tommy into his arms. The toddler let out a delighted shriek, "No no no no veggies!" he exclaimed, his little hands waving in protest.

Henry chuckled, holding Tommy close. "You can't escape the veggies that easily, buddy," he teased, gently bouncing Tommy in his arms.

Tommy pouted, his bottom lip jutting out in an adorable display of defiance. "But veggies are yucky, Daddy," he insisted.

Henry sighed, his heart melting at the sight of his son's stubbornness. "I know, but they make you strong and healthy. And remember, we get ice cream after."

At the mention of ice cream, Tommy's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ice cream?" he asked, his tone hopeful.

"That's right," Henry confirmed with a nod. "First veggies, then ice cream."

After dinner, Wanda and Henry settled down to watch Tommy and Billy play in their power-proof play area. The room was specially designed to handle their sons' unique abilities, ensuring they could play safely without causing unintended chaos.

Tommy, with his boundless energy, zipped around the room at superspeed, a blur of excitement and laughter. He loved the freedom of running without limitations, his giggles echoing as he made laps around the play area.

Billy, on the other hand, was more focused on his toy car. He meticulously pushed it along the floor, occasionally glancing up to keep an eye on his brother. He wanted to make sure Tommy didn't try to grab his precious toy.

Wanda and Henry were trying to get the toddlers down to sleep, a task that was proving to be quite the challenge. Just as they thought they had settled Tommy, he zipped out of the room with a giggle, leaving behind a gust of wind.

"I'll get him," Wanda said as she followed the sound of her son's giggles. She headed to her and Henry's room, where she spotted a Tommy-shaped lump under the blankets.

"Oh, where oh where could my Tommy have gone?" Wanda asked playfully, her voice filled with exaggerated confusion.

Tommy giggled from under the covers. "Tommy not here," he called out, his voice muffled by the blankets.

With a knowing smile, Wanda used her magic to gently lift the blankets, revealing her giggling son. Tommy shrieked with delight as Wanda picked him up with her magic, floating him gently into her arms.

"It's night night time, buddy," Wanda said softly, firmly holding Tommy in her embrace.

Tommy's laughter slowly turned into a contented sigh as Wanda carried him back to his room. Henry was there, holding a sleepy Billy in his arms. Together, they finally managed to get both boys settled into their beds, the boy cuddling their stuffed toys.

"Goodnight, my loves," Wanda whispered, leaning down to kiss Tommy and Billy on their foreheads.

Henry did the same, his heart swelling with love for his family. "Sweet dreams, boys," he murmured.

Later that night, Henry and Wanda lay in bed. Henry was just starting to drift off when Wanda turned to him with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"So, how about another?" she teased.

Henry couldn't help but laugh "Another what?" he asked, though he had a pretty good idea of what she meant.

Wanda grinned "Another baby, of course. I think we could handle one more."

Henry chuckled "With Tommy and Billy keeping us on our toes? Are you sure we're ready for that?"

Wanda leaned in closer, her smile softening. "I think we're more than ready. Besides, our boys would make wonderful big brothers."

Henry reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair away from Wanda's face. "You know what? I think you're right. I love the idea of expanding our family."

Wanda's smile grew even wider, and she wrapped her arms around Henry. "Then it's settled. Let’s have another baby.”
