"Hey Reg," James greeted.
"Hi James- Wow!" Regulus stumbled, almost dropping all of his books, as they were blocking his view. James caught him, before taking a few books from him.
"Watch out Reg, you almost fell for me." He said and winked at him with a charming smile.
"Oh, shut up." Regulus glared at him, trying not to blush.
"Where're you headed?" The Gryffindor asked casually.
"Library,"
"Ah, that's why you're carrying a whole bookshelf at once." James laughed. Regulus rolled his eyes, trying to hide his smile.
"I'll accompany you to the library, if you want."
"I'd love that."

"Reg!" James shouted loudly, starting towards him. "Reggie!"
Regulus turned around, seeing him ran towards him through the snow.
"You should watch out. The snow is-"
James fell to the ground right in front of him.
"Slippery. Who is falling for whom now, huh?" The Slytherin offered a hand, pulling the Gryffindor to his feet.
"Oh please," James shook his head and let out a soft chuckle. "Like I hadn't done that already ages ago."
Regulus' breath hitched in his throat and he felt his, already pink from the cold weather, cheeks grow warm. He would've thought it was a joke, if the look in James' eyes hadn't been so sincere. He leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to James' cheek.
"Hope that mends the bruises." He whispered, before going back to the castle, leaving James to stand int the snow, flabbergasted and in awe.
