Chapter 1
Y/N was not as famous as her brother, but she didn’t mind. That meant that she could live with their uncle, Remus Lupin. Lupin wasn’t their real uncle but she loved him just the same. This was also dues to the fact that she was four years older than Harry and remembered more about everything that happened.
Even if she had more freedom than her brother she still had some basic rules put in place by Lupin. No going out during the full moon, because of her uncles werewolf situation, and no going out of the house without her uncle, this mostly applied to public places.
Y/N’s favorite place in the whole world though, other than home of course, was Diagon Alley. She often went there to get groceries or other things with her uncle, but today was a very special day. It was the day she would get her supplies for Hogwarts, most important though was her wand. She had wanted a wand ever since she knew what one was, and today she would be getting one.
As soon as they got to the alley she dragged Lupin to the wand shop, Olivanders. In the shop there were hundred upon hundred of wands and a beautiful counter that had a kiosk. Olivander was currently talking to a boy who was accompanied by his parents, he glanced back as they entered and gave a small smile when he saw Y/N.
Y/N and Lupin waited for the boy to be done and for him to get his wand. He had gotten a very pretty wand made of Oak with a core of dragon heartstring.
After the boy left with wand in hand Y/N started the process of getting her wand. Olivander’s magical measuring tape eagerly measured all of the necessary things and then he gave her a wand. She waved it and BOOM one of the light bulbs in the lamp on the desk had exploded. This happened several more times before she finally ground her wand. An English oak wand with a core of Unicorn Hair.
After getting her beloved wand Y/N and her uncle set off to get her other supplies. A cauldron, dragon hide gloves, materials for potions, several quills and pieces of parchment and an owl. Lupin had insisted on getting her one doe she could communicate with him if needed. Now all she needed was her school uniform.
As Y/N was lead back by a very nice witch to a fitting area she noticed one other person. It was the boy from earlier. When Y/N walked in he looked up and gave a very friendly smile. She smiled back shyly. Now that she looked at the boy more closely she noticed his mousy brown hair and beautiful eyes
“Are you going to Hogwarts too?”, asked the boy suddenly,
“Oh, I’m yes” y/n responded meekly,
And so the friendship between Oliver Wood and Y/N Potter began.
It had been four years since that fated meeting and Oliver and Y/N had become much closer. Borge of them knew that the other like them but they simply seemed to be too shy to ask the other out. That is why Y/N had decided that by Halloween if Oliver hadn’t asked her out she would ask him.
Other than there little love fiasco the year was exciting because of a certain someone finally coming to Hogwarts. Harry Potter was coming to Hogwarts and Y/N was particularly excited to see her baby brother.
It was no secret that she was the sister of Harry Potter but everybody had gotten used to her. So when the rumor started that the Harry Potter was on the train everybody started to talk.
Eventually this rumor caught up to Y/N and she started ti look through each car for Harry. Until she found him. He was in a car toward the center of the train. He had the same messy dark as when he was a baby and he was sitting next to a Weasley. Y/N couldn’t identify which Weasley but he was definitely one of them.
This is when she realized that she had opened the door and had been staring at Harry for a solid minute. She immediately apologized and told Harry that it was nice to see him. He looked very confused until y/n told him to meet she after his sorting and left going back to her compartment.
Harry had been sorted into Gryffindor, which did not surprise Y/N all of her family was in Gryffindor. As all of the first years filed down from the dorms and into the great hall for breakfast and to find there first classes Y/N looked for Harry. She needed to talk to him, he had apparently forgotten to talk to her after the feast, which she understood.
As she looked up for the thousandth time she saw him. Her little brother, sitting next to the same Weasley as before. She quickly got up almost knocking over her orange juice and startling Wood who was planning for quidditch season. Y/N sped walked to her brother an immediately hugged him, startling him and causing the Weasley to star at the odd sight in front of him.
Finally letting go of Harry, Y/N was met with a look of confusion and a question that almost broke her heart,
”Sorry, but do I know you?”, Harry asked
”Oh, I suppose you were just a baby, and I haven’t seen you in forever because of the Dursleys,”
Y/N said a hint of disappointment in her voice,
“ I am Y/N Potter your older sister, Harry.”
This small statement seemed to take Harry a moment to realize what she had said. He had a sister, Harry Potter had an older SISTER! At this revelation he jumped up and immediately hugged her. He was no longer alone without any direct family, he had a sister.
It had been a few days since Y/N had told Harry about their relationship. Since then the siblings were almost connected by the hip. Or at least Harry was connected to Y/N. She loved her brother, she really did but there were sometimes when someone just needs some space. Like when she was with her friends, or talking to a professor. Heck, she had barely seen Wood since she had told Harry.
Luckily, for her this soon changed when he finally got over it, instead they simply started to eat meals together and study together. Soon though Harry had somehow gotten himself on the quidditch team so y/n would see him talking to Oliver.
