In Forks, Washington sat a young girl with brown hair that some people knew as Bella Swan, but most of the world knew her as Isabella Marie Potter or The Girl Who Lived. Bella grew up in England with her brother, Harry James Potter. They were raised by their uncle and aunt. Although Bella wouldn't call living with the Dursley's as being raised. The Dursley's consisted of their Aunt Petunia, their Uncle Vernon, and their cousin Dudley. The lot of them were awful people. They were constantly abusing the twins while they were in the house. By the time they were 11 Bella had more scars than she could count.
When they were 11 Harry and Bella learned they were a part of a much larger world that they didn't know existed. They were wizards. That began the journey of a lifetime for the twins. They attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where they learned how to do magic and made friends with Ron, a red-headed young wizard, and Hermione, a brown-haired witch. Bella loved Hogwarts. She loved making new friends, getting to learn magic, and play quidditch. Bella and Harry had been lucky enough to make the quidditch team their first year at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, there were some pitfalls in the middle of all the adventure and fun.
It all started before the twins were even born, when a wizard decided he wanted to rule the wizarding world. He began forming an army with the intent on keeping the wizarding world pure. This included eliminating all half-bloods and muggle born witches and wizards. His name was Voldemort. Everyone feared to speak his name and he became known as You-Know-Who. Their parents, their parents’ friends, and the Order of The Phoenix decided to stand up to Voldemort. When they were born Harry and Bella’s parents went into hiding. A year had passed before Voldemort found them and killed them, leaving Bella and Harry to the care of their aunt and uncle.
In their first year at Hogwarts, Bella and Harry were just learning about magic. The twins’ aunt and uncle did not want them to follow in their parents’ footsteps, therefore they refused to tell them anything about their parents or the wizarding world. It wasn’t until Hagrid, the gatekeeper at Hogwarts, came to get them for their first year that they learned about magic. During their first year they made the quidditch team. Bella was a chaser and Harry was a seeker. This was extremely rare for first years. Hogwarts seemed like any normal school minus learning magic. During their first match someone tried to kill Harry. Who would want to kill an 11-year-old child. This was not all that happened. During Halloween someone released a troll in the dungeon, and they even got detention and were almost attacked by something in the Forbidden Forest. This led to Harry and Bella setting out on a quest to find out who was trying to kill them and why.
Harry immediately thought it was one of the professors, Professor Snape. Bella on the other hand was more open minded about the situation. This quest led them to a trap door that was guarded by a three headed dog. Harry was determined to find out what was underneath the trapped door which led him on his own quest. Bella would not let her brother go alone so she tagged along. Bella, Harry, Hermione, and Ron made their way down the trap door which led to a series of tasks that were made to protect the Philosopher’s Stone. The Philosopher’s Stone was supposed to give someone immortal life. They learned that Voldemort had attached himself to the back of Professor Quirrell’s, the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, head. He had been the one trying to kill Harry during the quidditch match.
After the school year Bella and Harry were sent back to the Dursleys for the summer. They were looking forward to hearing from their new found friends travels and lives throughout the summer. Unfortunately those letters never came. They found out that a house elf named Doby had kept the letters from them. He told them it was dangerous to go back to Hogwarts. Oh was he right! Their second year started like any other. Ginny, Ron’s younger sister, started at Hogwarts and Ginny and Bella became instant friends.
Soon after things started getting freaky. Harry started hearing voices and students were being petrified. They later learned that a beast had been released from a secret chamber, known as the Chamber of Secrets, that had been put there by Salazar Slytherin and could only be opened by the heir of Slytherin. To make matters worse Harry could speak Parseltongue or snake talk, which was only known by the heir of Slytherin.
They later found out that a fellow student had been tricked into opening the chamber through a diary left by Tom Riddle. This led them into the Chamber of Secrets where they found out that Tom Riddle was actually Voldemort. Voldemort had left a part of his soul in the diary for the Twins to find. Harry ended up having to fight the monster, a basilisk, and destroy the diary. Once the diary was destroyed the rest of the year was uneventful for the twins.
The summer passed quickly for them and soon it was the start of their third year at Hogwarts. Once again it was just as eventful as the first two. It was also the most emotional year for Bella. Things started off relatively normal. Well normal for the twins at least. They got in an argument with Uncle Vernon and his horrible sister, which led to his sister blowing up like a giant balloon. In fear of what Uncle Vernon would do and from being expelled from Hogwarts, the twins took off. They were picked up by the Knight Bus that took them to the Leaky Cauldron where they later met up with Ron and Hermione. This is where they learned that Sirius Black had escaped prison and could be after them.
With that their peaceful semester was thrown out the window. On the train the twins were attacked by dementors. The dementors made Bella relive the worst of her memories. She spent her whole life trying to keep those memories to the back of her mind and they were ripped wide open. Then they learned that Sirius Black had followed them to Hogwarts and was actively trying to kill them. They learned that Sirius was their parents’ friend and was even Harry’s godfather. Bella learned that the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Remus Lupin, was her godfather. If it was not for him or Hermione, Bella was unsure she would have made it through the year, although something was not right about Lupin.
It all came to a boiling point when they learned that Remus had actually let Sirius into the castle. Their parents were actually betrayed by another friend, Peter Pettigrew, who had supposedly been killed by Sirius Black. Turns out he was actually a rat and was pretending to be Ron’s family pet. They had planned on bringing Peter to the dementors to prove Sirius’s innocence. Unfortunately, that plan was thwarted when Remus ended up turning into a werewolf. The distraction gave Peter enough time to turn back into a rat and escape. With no Peter Sirius was taken back into custody. The twins were able to help Sirius escape.
This led to the events of their fourth year. Harry and Bella’s fourth year was the most eventful and dangerous year yet. It started when the Quidditch World Cup was attacked by Death Eaters. Death Eaters are the wizards and witches that served Voldemort. This left many people fearful of what was to come. Bella knew that the year would not be easy for the twins. Once they got to Hogwarts, Dumbledore announced that Hogwarts would be hosting the Triwizard Tournament, a tournament consisting of three deadly tasks.
The Triwizard Tournament consisted of three contestants from three different schools that competed in three deadly tasks. The first task, that was on Halloween, was against a dragon. Harry had to go against a Hungarian Horntail, while Bella went up against a Peruvian Vipertooth. The second task, that was sometime in late November, consisted of saving a loved one or important person at the bottom of the lake. The third and final task, which was in late February, consisted of a maze with deadly tricks. The first contestant to reach the Triwizard cup was the winner.
Bella, Harry, and Cedric all reached the cup at the same time and the cup transported them into a graveyard. In the graveyard Peter Pettigrew brought back Voldemort using Harry’s blood. Voldemort then proceeded to kill Cedric using the killing curse, before they escaped using the ghosts of their friends and family members distraction. Everything changed after that for the twins. Dumbledore thought it was too dangerous for both Harry and Bella to be in the same place. He decided to send Bella into hiding. He called out to an old friend named Charlie Swan who had a 17 year old daughter with the same name who had a striking similarity to Bella. Charlie’s daughter had brown hair and brown eyes, while Bella had red hair and hazel eyes. Within 3 days Bella was off to the United States. Dumbledore spelled a charm for Bella that made those who came in contact with her forget her the second she decided to return to Hogwarts. It also changed her appearance, making her look two years older and her hair and eye color to match that of Bella Swan. He thought it would be the only way to keep her safe and those she came in contact with from Voldemort.
Bella soon found herself in the small town of Forks, Washington where even there she could not escape the dangers of the supernatural world. She met and fell in love with a vampire/cold one, Edward Cullen. At first she didn’t want to be interested in Edward, but the more he confided in her and trusted her the more she fell for him. He was different from the vampires she knew and he had no idea about her world. It was almost perfect. Almost being the key word. After an incident with Edward’s brother, Jasper, Edward and his whole family left leaving her heartbroken. Bella knew she couldn’t stay. Trouble was sure to follow her no matter where she went. Once she knew that the cold ones were real, she knew that the legends of La Push were also true, and Bella had to protect them. It was time for Bella to go home.
