The Yule Ball

Christmas time was never a big thing for Dazai but it seemed like in Hogwarts it was a big deal, as now Dazai was a 4th year in Hogwarts it seemed to have been given an invitation to a Yule ball…?

Or whatever it was called..

Dazai had never really experienced any balls or parties in his life before. He had gone to the port mafias but they all seemed too serious and boring plus he hated how every time Mori had forced him into a dress despite how many times he had refused the doctor to wear the damn thing.

But yet again, there was that time in the 1st year of his stay in Hogwarts after the Quirrell incident.. Well before everything went downhill. The twins did throw him a party in the Gryffindor dorms, even though it was sadly stopped shortly due to him having to leave and go back to that slimy doctor and…his father..it was still enjoyable.

Sadly for this ball Dazai was not allowed to skip it as the hells hounds already were talking about their plans going and that and even Blaise telling him he’s going even though Dazai never mentioned once to Blaise that he would go.. He now had to spend his precious time getting ready for this stupid thing instead of gaining information! …well he actually didn't need information now after Snape and Madam Pomfrey has shared custody over him now..

Guess you can really never take the mafia out of the bandage boy

Anyways it was now time for him to dress up for this event. If he was with Mori then Mori would probably pester him into wearing a dress for the event but now he actually now can choose his own clothing for this!

All the boys in the hell hounds were planning to wear suits for the event but Dazai most certainly wasn't going to wear a boring suit for this.

Until…when Dazai was rummaging through the closet in the hells hounds room he discovered something..

There was this silky black Kimono which was covered up in all different shades of blue flowers as it had oversized sleeves and how the kimono ended up to Dazais feet, it had a black obi which surrounded the stomach area of the kimono and it carried a navy blue bow on the back of the kimono

Better than nothing Dazai guessed as he grabbed the kimono off the hanger and started to dress himself in it.

The bandaged boy remembered that he got this kimono a few months ago when it was still summer break and him and his parents Pomfrey and Snape) decided to go on a trip to japan for some quality time and for them to understand the boy's culture. They went to Tokyo Japan because they didn't want to take Dazai back to Yokohama for reasons..

Not going to lie. It was possibly the best weekend Dazai may have had. It was fun watching them try new foods,traditions and areas and it was hilarious watching Snape be forced into a kimono for the first time. The man even struggled to wear the geta footwear as he fell down a flight of stairs!

The thought made the boy giggle at that one..

Though Snape and Pomfrey were extremely respectful while trying out the traditional japanese cultures. Just wait until they have to try out the Russian cultures also. Now that will be a fun experience..

After putting on the kimono Dazai had to brush his hair and fix up his bandages before he had to set off to the ball just in time before 8:00 pm

HAIII THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STAYING AND READING THIS FANFIC!!! It's right now only chapter one but i plan on uploading and of course making chapter 2 in the near future! This is my first fanfic i ever read so i don't mind if you give me any tips or advice! But once again thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoyed it!! ^^

(side note: i did research on the japanese culture on kimonos for this so i dont be disrespectful!)
