Summary
Today the students had to prepare Amortentia, and you won't believe what Harry couldn't smell...
Note
THEY'RE AT THE 6TH YEAR, SO THEY'RE ALL 16/17!!!

The voices quieted down as the wooden door swung open revealing the one professor that most students feared. Severus Snape - in his typical robes, long, black hair and emotionless face. Slowly approaching the front of the class, the professor wondered with his eyes around, noticing that few students didn't have their books.

"I see that some Gryffindors didn't bother bringing their books to class. I believe the reason why, is you all have the needed information in your heads?" Snape raised his eyebrow, then noticed one student specifically... "You didn't bring your book too, Malfoy? That's unusual."

"Sorry, Professor, I-"

"I don't recall asking for your reasoning." Snape cut his student's sentence.

Draco rolled his eyes, knowing that Severus Snape will not deduct points from Slytherin since he is the Head of House.

"Hm.. Potter." Snape started, making Harry pale from fear. He knew damn well Harry isn't the best in mixtures. "Mind reminding the whole class ingredients for Amortentia?"

Few students gasped, the girls mostly from excitement.

"Emm.. I don't remember, sorry, professor." Harry looked at his shoes, embarrassed.

"I could predict that. Granger?" Snape asked the only student who raised their hand. "Write the answer on the board. For those who don't have books."

Hermione walked towards the board with a big smile and happily started writing.

❛❛― Standard Potioning Water (24 fl. oz.)
― Ashwinder Eggs (3, frozen)
― Rose Thorns (roughly a handful)
― Peppermint (6 flower heads; 12 leaves)
― Powdered Moonstone (3 Tbs.)❛❛

"Thank you. Sit down." Hermione did as she was told. "Now, I will myself assign pairs that will do the position together." Snape started choosing random students, making half of them impatient. Obviously, everyone wished to be with their friend.. "... And Hermione Granger. Ron Weasley and.. Blaise Zabini." Ron let out loud singh, yet his face was all covered with blush. "And lastly, Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter. Please sit with your partner and begin working. I'm giving you an hour to make the mixture, and in the last half an hour I will check how you all did." Snape sat at his desk, looking at the students who started picking the needed ingredients.

Obviously, Harry and Draco couldn't stop arguing and teasing each other, but somehow (miraculously) they ended up doing the position correctly. Even Hermione was impressed as they were the last ones to do so, and with all the unnecessary comments, they still did everything right.

"I admit I'm quite satisfied with the results, as only one pair failed. Now, we should see if the potion is working, shall we? Granger, please tell us, how does your potion smell?"

"Strong perfume, and..." Hermione visibly panicked for a second. "A-and.. and toothpaste!" She smiled, trying to fake it. Well, who wouldn't if they'd have to say In front of everyone that they can smell the one Slytherin girl she should be enemies with?

Snape knew she lied, but decided to let her do that and not call her out. "Hm, alright. Parkinson?"

"Flowers, cats fur.. And books." Pansy smiled at Hermione who instantly blushed and looked away.

"Very well. Zabini?"

"freshly mown grass, new parchment, and.." Blaise smirked at the boy beside him. "And Ron's hair. Definitely his."

Some girls started giggling. "Quiet. Potter, mind sharing with us?"

He took a deep breath and smelled the position, starting to slowly name what he could... "Perfume. Definitely a strong one.. Mint. A-And.. Green apples?"

"Good. Now, maybe..."

Snape continued to ask around the students, but Harry couldn't concentrate. Who smelled like that?

And, well, Draco couldn't concentrate either, because he knew exactly who smelled like that. He himself.

Another lesson went by and now they had a half an hour free time before lunch. Hermione went to the library, Blaise pulled Ron somewhere before Harry couldn't even speak up a single word to his friend, and now he was left all alone.

Well, he was, before he dumped on someone, falling and pulling the person with him. And that's when the exact smell he smelled from Amortentia hit his nose. He quickly looked up, seeing THE Draco Malfoy.

"Oh, Potter, I was looking for you." Draco stood up, surprisingly helping Harry do so too.

"For me? What do you need?"

Draco looked around them, noticing that the hall was completely empty... He pushed Harry onto the wall beside them, pining him.

Harry gasped, eyes wide open.

"Bet now you know exactly who the smell from your potion belongs too." Draco smirked seeing how Harry couldn't even look him in the eyes.

"Shy baby, huh?" Draco laughed in his mind, knowing he can't say it out loud not to ruin the mood he wanted to make here.

"I might, I might not.."

"Don't play games with me, Potter. You know damn well it's ME." Draco grabbed his chin with two fingers, looking him deep into his eyes. "And now that you're sure, what are you planning to do about it?"

"Well, I was planning on avoiding you till we end Hogwarts with a hope you will forget.."

"Oh my god, you're so stupid sometimes it's even cute." Draco giggled, not waiting anymore.

He kissed Harry with all the love and passion that was building inside him all those years since he met this pretty, dark haired boy with cute round glasses and a unique scar on his forehead.

Harry was surprised to say the least, but he quickly started kissing Draco back, enjoying every moment of this.

"You knew?" Draco asked, panting a little.

"Knew what?"

"That I like you."

"I know now." Harry pulled Draco back into the kiss happily.

He has no idea what they will do after, but he doesn't care right now. He thought he liked Draco, and now he is sure the feeling between them is love. And it was beautiful.
