Chapter 11
James was a bit sad because even tho it's been weeks since the concert Regulus still didn't magically followed his Instagram and we'll in love with him.
But he wasn't too sad because while Regulus didn't follow his someone else did.
Leo.
Him and James have been talking for a week, day and night.
James was pretty sure Regulus knew more about him than his real life friends at this point.
And somewhere between talking with Leo all day James has fallen head over heels for him.
It was a strange feeling, being in love. He has never fallen in love before.
In school, he was always the one who didn't have crushes and had eventually come up with fake crushes just so his friends left him alone.
For a long time he felt like an outcast because of that.
He felt like no one truly understood him.
He feared he'll never find someone to love and someone who'd understand him.
He often felt unlovable too.
But that all seemed to change when he met Leo.
They just clicked. There was no awkward phase where they didn't know what to say.
And James finally felt seen and understood. He felt lovable, and loved Leo.
At first it was hard to see the difference between platonic and romantic feelings for Leo.
Mostly because James never experienced neither.
Well not never, he had a best friend in kindergarten but after loosing him, he never got close to anyone.
That's why it was hard for him to tell if he's just a really good friends with Leo or in love with Leo.
But sooner or later he figured it out since all he could think about when he was not texting Leo was how they'd live together in a cottage with five cats.
And since James was feeling brave today, he decided to ask Leo on a date.
Leo
Can I ask you something?
Yeah of course
Would you want to go on a date with me
To the Waterkiller concert
I know you're a fan and so am I so
Regulus saw his message. He wasn't typing. James started overthinking the situation.
It's fine if you don't want to
I just thought
And before he could finish his train of thought Regulus replies
I'd love to James
Oh
Oh perfect
I can't wait
Me neither
They talked a bit more and Leo suggested it's best they meet after the concert.
He told James to wait for him in the stadium after everyone goes home.
That was a bit sketchy to James to say the least but when James Potter falls head over heels for a guy there's very little things that can stop him, a little sketchy feeling is not amongst them.
