Chapter 3
It was the evening of one of their many concerts.
This particular one was in New York.
Barty had just two things left before they go on stage; get ready and go say hello to the VIP lounge.
He decided it's smart to go say hello first, before all the people crowd the stadium, so now he was on his way to the VIP lounge.
When he came nearer and nearer to the lounge he saw a really handsome man there.
He wore black jeans a loose tie and a white button up, which was oh god, partly unbuttoned so it revealed some of tattoos on the man's chest.
Barty had a mini heart attack while looking at him, but he had to pretend everything was normal because the man offered him a hand
"Hello gorgeous, what are you doing here? I'm Evan nice to meet you" he smiled politely
Barty could die right there and then.
He was used to people treating him like a celebrity all the time.
Why was this man; Evan, so chill about it?
Did he not know Barty?
Surely not, he was on his and Regulus's concert after all.
Unfortunately he was quiet for too long so Evan started again
"Sorry was that too straight forward, um sorry let's start with what's your name then"
Evan looked at him full of hope he didn't completely fuck up the situation.
Barty finally put his shit together and answered
"Nah, definitely not too straight forward, I just- sorry you don't know my name?"
"Pretty sure not, yes, why was I supposed to know it?"
The blonde looked slightly confused but still cheerful.
"No, suppose not" Barty offered his hand
"Hi, I'm Barty nice to meet you Evan, and for record I also think you're gorgeous"
he winked at that and he was pretty sure he could see a slight blush on Evan's cheeks.
"Are you here alone? How come you're in a VIP lounge?"
Bart asked, curious now to get to know this handsome stranger who apparently didn't know he's famous.
"Oh, my sister, twin actually, she's an influencer and got two tickets, Pandora Rosier? Maybe you've heard of her, she also posts Waterkiller content I think, that's why she got the tickets. She went to find the bathroom, that's why she's not here."
Now Barty understood the situation, Evan was probably here invulnerability, that's why he didn't know him.
He also remembered Reg saying something about Pandora and giving her a pair of tickets for New York concert.
"Yeah, I think I heard about her."
Barty smiled politely
"Soo" Evan started, slightly nervous Barty noticed
"Would you, handsome stranger; Barty, want to give me your phone number maybe?" Evan grinned nervously
Barty was so surprised with that question he probably dropped his mouth open a little.
But hey, if this stranger found him attractive before he knew he's famous then he may as well try his luck.
"Yeah, of course" Barty smiled, Evan smiled too, happy his request was not too much.
After that they exchanged numbers and said their goodbyes, promising to write as soon as they can.
Barty went straight to his and Regulus's room, still a little surprised from this weird bit also pleasant interaction.
As he entered the room he remembered he still had to find his earpiece.
"Reg did you see my ear piece? I need it, we are to go on the stage in a few."
Barty said, digging frantically trough their room, in which they were supposed to prepare before they go on stage.
"Barty, it's your ear peace, how am I supposed to know."
dark haired boy said, sighting a bit while trying to do his eyeliner the same way he did it on his other side.
"Reg can you please help me fin- oh never mind I found it."
Barty held the ear piece proudly in the air
"it was in my bag"
"Good"
Regulus looked up, finally managing to do his eyeliner evenly on both sides
"we have to go now, people are waiting."
