Would you?
Peter wasn’t sure how it started. One day he was the single friend, the one who never had a date, or could never talk about sex experiences.
Then he found himself in bed with two of the craziest and hottest people he had ever met. And he didn’t regret it.
He didn’t tell his friends that he had found himself in a situationship with Evan and Barty, but they figured that he had something going on.
“Pete where do you go when you sneak out at night?” Sirius asked one morning when they were lounging in the common room.
“Yeah, and when you sneak in late at night after disappearing after dinner” James added in.
“Oh yaknow, just out” he hoped they would drop it, but of course they didn’t. “Out? Or in?” Sirius snickered. “That’s foul Sirius!” Peter threw a pillow at the boy.
“But seriously Pete, who is it? You can tell us.” James reassured him, but Peter knew that if he told them they wouldn’t take it well.
“it’s just some… Ravenclaws” he almost said Slytherin, but he didn’t want to push his luck.
“Ravenclaws? Multiple??” Remus chimed in, setting his book down and devoting his attention to the conversation at hand.
“No. just one. Slip of the tongue. Sorry” again, Peter stretched the truth.
In truth, he was meeting up almost every night with one Ravenclaw and one Slytherin. Barty and Evan. They met in the room of requirement.
Most nights they just fucked, but occasionally Peter would enter to find the boys laid out with music playing and snacks. On these nights they would lounge together and talk.
Peter felt he could release with them, be himself and complain. No longer trying to please the marauders or teachers, just letting all of his thoughts out.
Barty and Evan didn’t judge.
Peter stretched, standing up from the couch, “I’m knackered boys, I’m heading up.” James and Sirius wished him goodnight. Remus glanced at him with a knowing look before picking his book back up.
As Peter stretched out in bed, he wondered what would happen if the Marauders found out who he was actually meeting at night. He knew they wouldn’t care about the fact they were boy, and they probably wouldn’t mind that there were two of them.
But Barty and Evan? A Ravenclaw and Slytherin a year younger than them, Regulus’ friends?
Barty and Evan had a reputation for being batshit crazy, especially together. Everyone knew that they were together, and no one denied that they probably had a crazy sex life.
But adding someone new? Someone as timid and quiet as Peter? That would shock the Marauders, and the entire school if it was ever let loose.
A week later, Peter sat in the library alone, determined to finish the essay Slughorn had assigned them on the properties of oak leaves. A simple essay really, but Peter had been putting it off and now he had two days left to fill a foot of parchment.
He sat at a table in the back, books spread out open around him and a pot of ink with his favorite quill. His parchment was almost full, he was so close to finishing the essay, but he struggled to find the final part he needed.
As he leafed through a book he had probably already read, he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise. He was being watched, his eyes shot up and scanned the surrounding tables and shelves.
They landed on a head of black hair with green streaks, face filled with metal piercings. Barty’s robes were a mess, tie undone, and shirt half opened.
Barty noticed that Peter had noticed him and smiled, walking over with Evan emerging behind him and following close by.
Peter was glad for the beautiful day outside, as the library was mostly empty, when Evan came up behind him, hand gliding along his shoulder and leaned down to press a slow and languid kiss to peter’s mouth.
Barty took a seat across the table from him, and Evan sat next to Peter. “Hi Pete.” He whispered as he separated himself from him.
Evan’s robes were slightly in better shape, his shirt was fully buttoned at least. His tie was missing though, and his hair was slightly messed up.
“Hi,” Peter shut the book in front of him and pushed it away, knowing he wouldn’t get much work done with these new distractions. “What brings you two here? Didn’t think you knew where the library was.”
Evan scoffed, “Fair, only reason we’re here is because you are”
Peter blushed slightly; he still hadn’t gotten used to the two’s constant flirting. Even when there was no one to witness it, he felt flustered when Barty or Evan gave him attention like this.
“Come now precious, why do you blush?” Barty reached across the table and tilted Peters chin up to meet his eyes, “you know it’s the truth.”
Peter held Barty’s eyes for a moment before beginning to gather his things. He picked up the stack of books he had been using and stood up to put them away. “Let me put these away and then we can go to the room.”
Evan and Barty stood up and began to walk with Peter. “Actually,” Barty’s voice started low, “we wanted to propose something new to you.”
“A promotion if you will” Evan chimed in eagerly.
“Oh?” Peter put his books on the shelves, trying to remember where he had gotten them from in the first place, while also wondering at what the boys were proposing.
“And what might this be?”
He turned to look at Barty and Evan, they stood close to Peter. They weren’t a lot taller than him, but with them both in front of him, both with a few inches over him, they were imposing. Peter felt himself growing nervous.
Evan cocked his head to the side, hesitantly saying “Will you go on a date with us?”
Peter was taken aback; he hadn’t expected this. Of course he had dreamed about it, what it would be like to be with them in the open. Not hiding in the shadows, something more than just sex.
They must be joking, making fun of him. This was all a plot to embarrass Peter.
But then Peter noticed how nervous Barty looked, his lower lip was pulled in between his teeth and his eyebrows scrunched. He was vulnerable and open, genuine.
“Pete?” Barty asked, nervously awaiting a response. Peter nodded, muttering a quiet “yes”.
Evan and Barty broke out in twin grins, and peter matched them.
He laughed, “yes! Yes, I will go on a date with you”
Barty grabbed Peter’s hand, “wonderful” he pulled peter along as they all exited the library and headed for the main hall.
“Where are we going??” “Gryffindor tower, so you can get ready” “wait we’re going today?”
Evan stopped, turning to stare at peter, “That is okay, right?” Peter chuckled, “yes, it’s okay. I just didn’t expect it.” “Ok good”
They continued on their way, reaching the fat lady portrait.
“Okay,” they stopped, and Barty and Evan turned to face Peter, “We will meet you back here in an hour.” Evan said as he leaned in to give peter’s cheek a kiss. Peter blushed at the PDA, even if there was no one around. He nodded and turned to enter the mutter the password to the common room.
He stopped in the doorway, turning to look back at the boys, “Wait, where are we going?”
Barty smiled, “Don’t worry about it.” Evan glanced at Barty, “Just wear something you can walk in” he chimed in helpfully. Peter nodded and turned back to go inside.
