Summary
Two years after their break up Regulus Black and James Potter find themselves in each others lives.
Note
Honestly might change somethings around and definitely will be adding more songs as I go along but anyway for clarifications the playlist contains all the music I'll be using in the fic. They're organised in albums between the main bands and singers. The actual artists are written down before my personal opinion on who I believe would write the songs. If I song has the words (unreleased) after the real artist of the song that means that the band or singer in the fic hasn't released the song yet. However that same song could be released later on. Also there are certain songs that have after the real-life artist in parenthesis the words ft. + a character name. This means this character is featured in the song in the fic, not that the actual song has a feature. If there is a feature in the song I will added without parenthesis. Also I have added the lyrics of songs because of two reason. One to be able to specify exactly what character from the fic I would image would sing each part, and second because I decided to take some liberties and poorly rewrite some songs to fit the narrative better. Sometimes this means taking certain lyrics or verses from the song and sometimes it means I'm changing lyrics(mostly words), the new lyrics are written in bold and the original lyrics are written in parenthesis. Also I adore every single song in this playlist, reason why for the most part I try to keep the songs exact, which I might be able to do by adding more co-writers.

                  1. Freaks by Jordan Clarke: written by Peter Pettigrew, James Potter and Sirius Black

(James Potter)

I've been locked in the locker

I was picked last in soccer

And they say that it's all fun

But their fun, it ain't fun, man I'm done

(James Potter)

And I know we're all different

Our beliefs and religions

But I don't see the difference

In me, you, your, tu or moi, vous

So if you've had enough, then

(James Potter)

Come to the land of the lost and lonely

Don't be afraid, we'll be one big family

Of Freaks, like you and me

I know a place where the bruised and broken

Live like the kings and the queens of tragedy

Just Freaks, like you and me

We are the Freaks

(James Potter)

I've been kicked down in the dirt

I pretend that it don't hurt

And I know that they're just words

But sticks, stones, they break bones but just know

(James Potter)

We could all be disciples

And we'll write our own Bible

We'll put freaks in the titles

It's me, you, your, tu and moi, vous

So if you've had enough, then

(James Potter)

Come to the land of the lost and lonely

Don't be afraid, we'll be one big family

Of Freaks, like you and me

I know a place where the bruised and broken

Live like the kings and the queens of tragedy

Just Freaks, like you and me

We are the Freaks

(James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew & Remus Lupin)

We are the Freaks

Na-na-na, na-na-na

We are the Freaks

(James Potter)

Come to the land of the lost and lonely

Don't be afraid, we'll be one big family

Of Freaks, like you and me

I know a place where the bruised and broken

Live like the kings and the queens of tragedy

Just Freaks, like you and me

(James Potter)

Come home

Where you can be you, I can be me

We'll never leave

'Cause we are the Freaks

Come home

Where you can be you, I can be me

We'll never leave

'Cause we are the Freaks

We are the Freaks

                  1. Seven by Taylor Swift: written by James Potter and Peter Pettigrew (dedicated to Sirius Black)

(Peter Pettigrew)

Please picture me

In the trees

I hit my peak at seven feet

In the swing

Over the creek

I was too scared to jump in

But I, I was high in the sky

With Pennsylvania under me

Are there still beautiful things?

(James Potter)

Sweet tea in the summer

Cross your heart, won't tell no other

And though I can't recall your face

I still got love for you

Your braids like a pattern

Love you to the moon and to Saturn

Passed down like folk songs

The love lasts so long

(James Potter)

And I've been meaning to tell you

I think your house is haunted

Your dad is always mad and that must be why

And I think you should come live with

Me and we can be pirates

Then you won't have to cry

Or hide in the closet

And just like a folk song

Our love will be passed on

(Peter Pettigrew)

Please picture me

In the weeds

Before I learned civility

I used to scream ferociously

Any time I wanted

I, I

(James Potter)

Sweet tea in the summer

Cross my heart, won't tell no other

And though I can't recall your face

I still got love for you

Pack your dolls and a sweater

We'll move to India forever

Passed down like folk songs

Our love lasts so long

                  1. Boys Will Be Bugs by Cavetown: written by Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black

(James Potter)

I'm a dumb teen boy

I eat sticks and rocks and mud

I don't care about the government

And I really need a hug

I feel stupid

(Peter Pettigrew)

(stupid),

(James Potter)

ugly

(Peter Pettigrew)

(ugly)

(James Potter)

Pretend it doesn't bother me

I'm not very strong, but

I'll fuck you up if you're mean to bugs

(James Potter)

It's getting cold down here underneath the weather

I skipped class to sit with you

I really like your spotty sweater

If ladybugs are girls

How do you make kids together?

What's it like in a female world?

I bet it's just so much better

(James Potter)

I just turned 14

And I think this year I'm gonna be mean

(James Potter)

Don't mess with me, I'm a big boy now, and I'm very scary

I punch my walls, stay out at night, and I do karate

Don't message me 'cause I won't reply, I wanna make you cry

Ain't that how it's s'posed to be? Though it isn't me

Boys will be bugs, right?

(James Potter)

Boys will be bugs, right?

(James Potter)

I'm a dumb teen boy

All I wanna do is quit

My mum told me that she's worried

And I couldn't give a shit

I have friends who understand me

Their names are spider, beetle, bee

They don't say much, but

They have always listened to me

(James Potter)

The other boys at school

Think it's cool to hate your parents

But they're lying all the time

The bugs advised that I should let 'em

And if you wanna cry

Make sure that they never see it

Or even better yet

Block it out and never feel it

(James Potter)

I just turned 14

And I think I know everything

(James Potter)

Don't mess with me, I'm a big boy now, and I'm very scary

I punch my walls, stay out at night, and I do karate

Don't message me 'cause I won't reply, I wanna make you cry

Ain't that how it's s'posed to be? Though it isn't me

Boys will be bugs, right?

Boys will be bugs, right?

(James Potter)

Just turned 14

And I think this year I'm gonna be mean

Just turned 14

And I think I know everything

Just turned 14

And I think this year I'm gonna be mean

Just turned 14

And I think the world revolves around me

(James Potter)

Don't mess with me, I'm a big boy now, and I'm very scary

I punch my walls, stay out at night, and I do karate

Don't message me 'cause I won't reply, I wanna make you cry

Ain't that how it's s'posed to be? Though it isn't me

                  1. The Best Day (Taylor’s version) by Taylor Swift: written by James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew and Remus Lupin

(James Potter)

I'm five years old, it's gettin’ cold, I've got my big coat on

I hear your laugh and look up smilin’ at you, I run and run

Past the pumpkin patch and the tractor rides, look, now the sky is gold

I hug your legs and fall asleep on the way home

(James Potter)

I don't know why all the trees change in the fall

But I know you're not scared of anything at all

Don't know if Snow White's house is near or far away

But I know I had the best day with you today

(James Potter)

I'm thirteen now and don't know how my friends could be so mean

I come home cryin’ and you hold me tight and grab the keys

And we drive and drive until we found a town far enough away

And we talk and window shop 'til I've forgotten all their names

(James Potter)

I don't know who I'm gonna to talk to now at school

But I know I'm laughin’ on the car ride home with you

Don't know how long it's gonna to take to feel okay

But I know I had the best day with you today

(James Potter)

I have an excellent father, his strength is making me stronger

God smiles on my little brother, inside and out, he's better than I am

I grew up in a pretty house and I had space to run

And I had the best days with you

(James Potter)

There is a video I found from back when I was three

You set up a paint set in the kitchen and you're talkin’ to me

It's the age of princesses and pirate ships and the seven dwarfs

Daddy's smart and you're the prettiest lady in the whole wide world

(James Potter)

Now I know why all the trees change in the fall

I know you were on my side even when I was wrong

And I love you for givin’ me your eyes

For staying back and watchin’ me shine

And I didn't know if you knew

So I'm taking this chance to say

That I had the best day with you today

                  1. Particular Taste by Shawn Mendes: written by James Potter and Peter Pettigrew

(James Potter)

She don't listen to a thing 'less it feels right

Only dances when it's Kanye

She could take you one-on-one if she feels like

You'll be begging her for mercy, mercy

(James Potter)

Ooh, she'll take your name and number

Then she'll hit erase and walk away

But ooh, she’s so specific when she's at my place

(Sirius Black)

At my place

(James Potter)

She's got particular taste, yeah

She's so obsessed with the chase, yeah

She don't waste time on conversations, no

She just goes right for the face, yeah

She's so particular

(James Potter)

Never pickin' up her phone 'less it rings twice

Only answers with a question, “mhm?”

And if I try to play it cool, it never goes right

Got me drownin', drownin', ah

(James Potter)

Ooh, she'll take your name and number

Then she'll hit erase and walk away

But ooh, she’s so specific when she's at my place

(Sirius Black)

At my place

(James Potter)

She's got particular taste, yeah

She's so obsessed with the chase, yeah

She don't waste time on conversations, no

She just goes right for the face, yeah

(Sirius Black)

(she just goes, she)

(James Potter)

She's so particular

I'm so obsessed with her, yeah

She's so particular,

I'm so obsessed with her, yeah

She's so particular

(James Potter)

She's the best at got you thinkin' that she don't care

Knows exactly what she wants, uhh

Now she's runnin' all her fingers right through my hair

And it means that

(James Potter)

She's got particular taste

(Sirius Black)

(she's got particular taste)

(James Potter)

She's so obsessed with the chase, yeah

She don't waste time on conversations, no

She just goes right for the face, yeah

(Sirius Black)

 (she just goes, she)

(James Potter)

She's so particular

I'm so obsessed with her, yeah

She's so particular

(Sirius Black)

(She just goes, she)

(James Potter)

I'm so obsessed with her, yeah

(Sirius Black)

(She’s so particular, she just goes)

(James Potter)

She’s got particular taste

  • The Skittles 1st album:Fuck Up The Friendship
                  1. Lonely Ones by LOVA:written by Pandora Lovegood, Regulus Black and Dorcas Meadowes

(Regulus Black)

Everybody's talking about last night

The cops showed up when everyone was passed out

At my classmates house

No one told me where to go

But then again I'd never showed

Still I can't help but feeling left behind

(Regulus Black)

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who go to bed and think they got no one

The shy kid at the playground

The runaways on greyhounds

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who always wonder where their friends have gone

The boy who can't stop crying

The girl who gave up trying

(Regulus Black)

This is for the lonely ones

The lonely ones

Yeah, I am just like you

I have been there too

(Regulus Black)

Wakeup feeling worse than yesterday

I'm pretty fucking far from being okay

Still I check my phone

Perfect smiles and perfect lives

Though I know it's all a lie

I can't help but feeling I should change

(Regulus Black)

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who go to bed and think they got no one

The shy kid at the playground

The runaways on greyhounds

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who always wonder where their friends have gone

The boy who can't stop crying

The girl who gave up trying

(Regulus Black)

I know the voice inside your head saying you're never good enough

The times you stay in bed because it's too hard to get up

The friends who disappear when things just get a bit too rough

Time to make it stop

(Regulus Black)

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who go to bed and think they got no one

The shy kid at the playground

The runaways on greyhounds

This is for the lonely ones

The ones who always wonder where their friends have gone

The boy who can't stop crying

The girl who gave up trying

This is for the lonely ones

The lonely ones

Yeah, I am just like you

I have been there too

                  1. (Can we be friends?) by Conan Gray: written by Regulus Black (dedicated to Pandora Lovegood)

(Regulus Black)

Could you be my best friend?

Let's hang out every weekend

We're driving every night

Stare at people that we like

Could you be my best friend?

I'll tell you all my secrets

I'll tell you all the times

That I wished that I could die

(Regulus Black)

And if anybody fucks with you

They fuck with me

So, if anybody fucks with you

I'll knock their teeth out (yeah)

Could you be my best friend?

Can we be friends?

Could you be my best friend?

Can we be friends?

                  1. It’s nice to have a friend by Taylor Swift: written by Regulus Black, Pandora Lovegood and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

School bell rings, walk me home

Sidewalk chalk covered in snow

Lost my gloves, you give me one

"Wanna hang out?” Yeah, sounds like fun

Video games, you pass me a note

Sleeping in tents

(Regulus Black)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

(Regulus Black)

Light pink sky, up on the roof

Sun sinks down, no curfew

Twenty questions, we tell the truth

You've been stressed out lately, yeah, me too

Something gave you the nerve

To touch my hand

(Regulus Black)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

(Regulus Black)

Church bells ring, carry me home

Rice on the ground looks like snow

Call my bluff, call you "babe"

Have my back, yeah, every day

Feels like home, stay in bed

The whole weekend

(Regulus Black)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

It's nice to have a friend

(Ooh)

(Ooh)

                  1. Ew by Andi: written by Dorcas Meadowes, Regulus Black and Evan Rosier

(Dorcas Meadowes)

Mmm, mmm, ew

Mmm, mmm, ew

Mmm, mmm, ew

Hahahaha

(Dorcas Meadowes)

Gross; the thought of loving someone hurts the most

Raise a glass to being on my own, on my own

Me? Miss Americana wannabe

You're the good guy, you deserve a trophy, not to be lonely

(Dorcas Meadowes)

You could be the person of my dreams

But I won't love you 'till you don't love me

I only want your body till you got yours hands all over me...

(Dorcas Meadowes)

If you want me, I don't want ya

Treat me good, it's gon' cost you

Want what I can't have, oh, I got it bad

Hate that if I'm not crying, couldn't care less, don't like it

When you want me back, where's the fun in that?

(Regulus Black)

Why is being latе to everything my type?

Stuck on shitty guys who always liе; it gets me high

And you, probably too good to be true

I need someone I can lose; that's not you

(Regulus Black)

The sky could be falling and you could be the

Last one alive, baby, I'd still leave you

Drives me insane, how my mind just won't let me be...

(Regulus Black)

If you want me, I don't want ya

Treat me good, it's gon' cost you

Want what I can't have, oh, I got it bad

Hate that if I'm not crying, couldn't care less, don't like it

When you want me back, where's the fun in that?

(Regulus Black)

How will I find the love of my life?

I dive in when all the rivers run dry

I like 'em bad, hate the next guy

I like 'em better on ice

(Regulus Black & Dorcas Meadowes)

If you want me, I don't want ya

Treat me good, it's gon' cost you

Want what I can't have, oh, I got it bad

Hate that if I'm not crying, couldn't care less, don't like it

When you want me back, where's the fun in that?

                  1. Mean girls by Charlie XCX: written by Dorcas Meadowes and Barty Crouch Jr.

(Dorcas Meadowes)

Yeah, it's 2 a.m. and she's out there

In the sheer white dress, wearing last night's makeup

All coquettish in the pictures, with the flash on

Worships Lana Del Rey in her AirPods, yeah

Yeah, she's in her mid-20s, real intelligent

Hedonistic with the gravel, drawl and dead eyes

You say she's anorexic and you heard she likes when people say it

Think you already know her, but you don't

(Regulus Black)

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

 (tearing shit apart)

(Regulus Black)

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

(Regulus Black)

Yeah, it's 4 a.m. and she's out there

With the razor-sharp tongue stuck to skinny cigarettes

Calls him "Daddy" while she's fingering a gold cross

And she's kinda fucked up, but she's still in Vogue

Yeah, she's in her mid-20s, real intelligent

And we hate the fact she's New York City's darling

You say she's problematic and the way you say it, so fanatic

Think she already knows that you're obsessed

(Regulus Black)

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

(Regulus Black)

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

This one's for all my mean girls

This one's for all my bad girls

This one's for all my break-your-boyfriend's-heart girls

For all my tearing-shit-apart girls

                  1. jealousy, jelousy by Olivia Rodrigo: written by Regulus Black and Dorcas Meadowes

(Regulus Black)

I kinda wanna throw my phone across the room

'Cause all I see are girls too good to be true

With paper-white teeth and perfect bodies

Wish I didn't care

(Regulus Black)

I know their beauty's not my lack

But it feels like that weight is on my back

And I can't let it go

(Regulus Black)

Co-comparison is killing me slowly

I think I think too much 'bout kids who don't know me

I'm so sick of myself, I’d rather be, rather be

Anyone, anyone else

My jealousy, jealousy started following me (he-he-he, he-he)

Started following me (he-he-he, he-he)

(Regulus Black)

And I see everyone getting all the things I want

And I'm happy for them, but then again, I'm not

Just cool vintage clothes and vacation photos

I can't stand it, oh, God, I sound crazy

(Regulus Black)

Their win is not my loss

I know it's true, but I can't help getting caught up in it all

(Regulus Black)

Co-co-comparison is killing me slowly

I think I think too much 'bout kids who don't know me

I'm so sick of myself, I’d rather be, rather be

Anyone, anyone else

My jealousy, jealousy (yeah)

(Regulus Black)

Yeah, all your friends are so cool, you go out every night

In your daddy's nice car, yeah, you're living the life

Got a pretty face, a pretty boyfriend too

I wanna be you so bad, and I don't even know you

All I see is what I should be

Happier, prettier, jealousy, jealousy

All I see is what I should be

I'm losing it, all I get's, jealousy, jealousy

(Regulus Black)

Co-comparison is killing me slowly

I think, I think too much 'bout kids who don't know me

And I'm so sick of myself, I’d rather be, rather be (oh, oh)

Anyone, anyone else (anybody else)

Jealousy, jealousy

(Regulus Black)

Oh, I'm so sick of myself

I'd rather be, rather be (oh-oh)

Anyone, anyone else

Jealousy, jealousy

Started following me

                  1. My brother’s best friend by Hannah Trager: written by Regulus Black, Barty Crouch Jr. and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

I'm having a dilemma

Don't know what to do

No matter how I think about it it's a lose-lose

I know that he's off-limits

Know that there's a line

I think I wanna cross it, yeah, it's crossing my mind

(Regulus Black)

I've known him for years but I never thought

That I would be here, hope

 I don't get caught

I know it's a recipe for trouble

But the heart wants what it wants

(Regulus Black)

My brother's best friend's a little bit older

And I'm just trynna get a little bit closer

I think that I'll die if I don't at least try

I don't know how this ends

If he finds out then we're dead

My brother's upstairs and we're in the basement

Damn it's unfair, so hard to be patient

I think that I'll die if I don't at least try

I don't know how this ends

I'm in love with my brother's best friend

(Regulus Black)

It's obvious he wants me

He keeps on dropping hints

So I won't be the only one who's going down for this

I'm like, “Just give, just give me one taste

Even if it blows up in my face”

(Regulus Black)

My brother's best friend's a little bit older

And I'm just trynna get a little bit closer

I think that I'll die if I don't at least try

(Regulus Black)

I'm in love with my brother's best friend

I'm in love with my brother's best friend

I'm in love, I’m in love, love, love

With my brother's best friend

(Regulus Black)

I've known him for years but I never thought

                  1. One Of Your Girls by Troye Sivan: written by Regulus Black and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

Everybody loves you, baby

You should trademark your face

Lining down the block to be around you

But, baby, I'm first in place

(Regulus Black)

Face card, no cash, no credit

Yes, God, don't speak, you said it

Look at you

Skip the application, interview

Sweet like Marabou

Look, look at you

(Regulus Black)

Give me a call if you ever get lonely

I'll be like one of your girls or your homies

Say what you want and I'll keep it a secret

You get the key to my heart and I need it

Give me a call if you ever get desperate

I'll be like one of your girls

(Regulus Black)

Everybody wants you, baby

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

(everybody)

(Regulus Black)

You should insure that waist

(Regulus Black)

(with the highest policy you can get)

(Regulus Black)

Bet nobody wants you bad as I do

Baby, let me plead my case, yeah

(Regulus Black)

Face card, no cash, no credit

Yes, God, don't speak, you said it

Look at you

Pop the culture, iconography

Is standin' right in front of me

Look, look at you

(Regulus Black)

Give me a call if you ever get lonely

I'll be like one of your girls or your homies

Say what you want and I'll keep it a secret

You get the key to my heart, and I need it

Give me a call if you ever get desperate

I'll be like one of your girls

(Regulus Black)

Ah, ah-ah (ah, ah-ah)

Give me a call if you ever get desperate

I'll be like one of your girls

                  1. Dont you know? by Jaymes Young: written by Regulus Black, Barty Crouch Jr. and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

I've been walking in the moonlight, looking for you

I got nobody but my shadow to get me through

So put your lips on my scars and teach me to love

Give my slow heart the rhythm of a blood drum

(Regulus Black)

I don't want you to go

I need more of you in my life

Nobody should be alone

Please, let me take you home tonight (Oh)

(Regulus Black)

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

And every night, I call for you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

I'd do anything to touch you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know that I'm going mad?

And in the moment, I fall for you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

(So bad)

(Regulus Black)

I'd do anything to love you

(Regulus Black)

Take a look at these mountains I'm moving for you

I'm gonna light the dynamite, I'm gonna break through

'Cause I know all the ways to appreciate your design

I'm a damn good lover, shivers up your spine

(Regulus Black)

I don't want you to go

I need more of you in my life

Nobody should be alone

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

(Be alone)

(Regulus Black)

Please, let me take you home tonight

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

And every night, I call for you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

I'd do anything to (Oh)

Don't you know that I

Don't you know that I'm going mad?

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

(Going mad)

(Regulus Black)

And in the moment, I fall for you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

(Barty Crouch Jr.)

(Oh, I want you so bad)

(Regulus Black)

I'd do anything to love you

(Regulus Black)

(Oh, oh)

Oh, don't make me beg you please, oh (Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

When I know you were meant for me (Oh, oh)

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

I would fight in a war for you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad? (Oh)

(Regulus Black)

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

And every night, I call for you

(Evan Rosier)

 (Call for you)

(Regulus Black)

Don't you know that I

Don't you know I want you so bad?

I'd do anything to touch you

Don't you know that I

Don't you know that I'm going mad?

                  1. Guilty as sin? by Taylor Swift: written by Regulus Black and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

Drownin' in the Blue Nile

He sent me "Downtown Lights"

I hadn't heard it in a while

My boredom's bone-deep

This cage was once just fine

Am I allowed to cry?

I dream of crackin' locks

Throwin' my life to the wolves

or the ocean rocks

Crashin' into him tonight, he's a paradox

I'm seeing visions

Am I bad or mad or wise?

(Regulus Black)

What if he's written "mine" on my upper thigh only in my mind?

One slip and fallin' back into the hedge maze

Oh, what a way to die

I keep recalling things we never did

Messy top-lip kiss, how I long for our trysts

Without ever touchin' his skin

How can I be guilty as sin?

(Regulus Black)

I keep these longings lockеd

In lowercase, inside a vault

Somеone told me, "There's no such thing as bad thoughts

Only your actions talk"

These fatal fantasies

Giving way to labored breath, takin' all of me

We've already done it in my head

If it's make-believe

Why does it feel like a vow we'll both uphold somehow?

(Regulus Black)

What if he's written "mine" on my upper thigh only in my mind?

One slip and fallin' back into the hedge maze

Oh, what a way to die

My bed sheets are ablaze

I've screamed his name

Buildin' up like waves crashin' over my grave

Without ever touchin' his skin

How can I be guilty as sin?

(Regulus Black)

What if I roll the stone away?

They're gonna crucify me anyway

What if the way you hold me is actually what's holy?

If long-suffering propriety is what they want from me

They don't know how you've haunted me so stunningly

I choose you and me religiously

(Regulus Black)

What if he's written "mine" on my upper thigh only in my mind?

One slip and fallin' back into the hedge maze

Oh, what a way to die

I keep recalling things we never did

Messy top-lip kiss, how I long for our trysts

Without ever touchin' his skin

How can I be guilty as sin?

(Regulus Black)

He sent me "Downtown Lights"

I hadn't heard it in a while

Am I allowed to cry?

                  1. Fuck Up The Friendship by Leah Kate: written by Regulus Black, Dorcas Meadowes and Evan Rosier

(Regulus Black)

Are you gonna kiss me?

'Cause you're taking me home

It's four in the morning

Are we doing this wrong?

This weekend I saw you

Through eyes that are new

You got me falling for you

And I kinda want to

(Regulus Black)

Tell me what you mean

Is it all me?

Start to overthink everything

When you're close to me, I can't breathe

We're already six feet deep

(Regulus Black)

Let's fuck up the friendship

Come, get in my head

Baby, cut the tension

I'm hung by a thread

Maybe it's something

But let's not pretend

Or maybe it's nothing

And this is the end

We could never be

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(Oh, no)

(Regulus Black)

We could never be friends

We could never be

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(Oh, no)

(Regulus Black)

We could never be friends

(Regulus Black)

On the edge of my seat

I'll wait for the outcome

If we ever have one

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(If we ever have one)

(Regulus Black)

Let me take the lead

You follow me closely

But come on and show me

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(come on and show me)

(Regulus Black)

Let's fuck up the friendship

Come, get in my head

Baby, cut the tension

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(Baby, cut the tension)

(Regulus Black)

I'm hung by a thread

Maybe it's something

But let's not pretend

Or maybe it's nothing

And this is the end

We could never be

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(Oh, no)

(Regulus Black)

We could never be friends

We could never be

(Dorcas Meadowes)

(Oh, no)

(Regulus Black)

We could never be friends
