Chapter 8
A few days later
Sitting by Sev in the common room I frown reading my history of magic book until it's pulled from my hands.
Snarling I look up only to see Narcissa smirking at me before she hands me a list "chose one" she says softly.
Frowning I look at the list confused "Why?"
"You and Sev will complete it from there we'll send in the information and it will start you both with becoming recognized that will raise you're standing"
"Why should we?" I ask.
"Because currently you both have no reputation and hold a muggle name so people will dismisses you, doing this will start gaining you respect"
Looking at Sev he shrugs leaning over to look at the list "what are these?" He asks.
"Things no one has been able to figure out"
"What's Animagus?" I ask.
"A type of transfiguration, you turn into an animal no one's figured out how to ensure you can't be Unregistered"
Humming I glance at Sev seeing him tilt his head "we'd have to study it and possibly complete it ourselves first" he mutters.
"What's the youngest someone's did this at?" Sev and I both ask.
"17 it's the final level of Mastering transfiguration"
Seeing him smirk I look up at Narcissa "we need a book on Animagus, how can we get one?" I finally ask.
"I'll request it from my father" she responds before handing me my book.
A few days later
Standing near Black Lake I glance at Sev "ready?" I ask.
"Yes, but why are we doing this?"
"We need to build up stamina, plus it wouldn't hurt to gain some muscle in case we need to defend ourselves again" I answer.
Seeing him nod I take off running like we do with Dad after us with Sev right by me "we'll build up speed as we get better with this and push ourselves further, eventually we'll be able to run the entire lake but I'd prefer to be able to run the entire grounds".
Seeing him nod I focus on our run but eventually stop not even halfway around the lake breathing heavily.
"I can't feel my legs" I mutter seeing Sev drop beside me panting.
Hearing him groan I chuckle slowly forcing myself back to my feet "come on Sev we can go back to our rooms and relax there".
Seeing him slowly get up we both lean against each other to stay up making our way to the rooms.
Stumbling in the common room Sev drops to the floor waving me off "I'll sleep here" he groans.
Grabbing his hand I pull him feeling my legs protesting every moment of it, getting him away from the door I finally drop beside him after getting him closer to the wall, curling up by him I sigh closing my eyes and eventually fall asleep hearing his snores.
Sometime later
Groaning I frown feeling that I'm laying on a bed, feeling it dip before feeling someone move beside me, figuring it's Sev I start to relax till I feel an arm over me pulling my closer.
Snapping my eyes open I look seeing Alecto cuddled up to me "hi" she whispers before smiling.
"Why am I in bed and why are in it with me like this?" I ask.
"Amycus and I found you and Sev asleep in the common room on the floor so we decided to get you to your beds, both of you slept the entire time"
She then frowns looking at me "we thought you'd both be heavier than you are".
I frown looking at her, I'm not sure what to think it's creepy how she acts but it seems like it's normal for her "okay, why are you in bed with me?"
"Your bed's more comfortable"
Raising my brow I glance at hers frowning more "we can trade beds if you want" I offer.
"No that's okay this way works perfectly" she says before laying down beside me again.
