Waiting
With the group finally trusting us, or at least trying to, we've been lead to the couch of the living room. Me and Albus sat on one side well James and Teddy sat on the other. The group, who we now know as some from of a relative of at least one of us, sitting or standing across from us. I kept my eyes trained to the floor, until I felt Al scoot closer and whisper.
"You holding up, Scorpius?" He put a hand on my knee, giving it a squeeze. I answer after a moment, "I mean - I've barely talked...just feel bad for bringing you, and those two, into this." My words were quiet, barely loud enough for even Albus to hear.
"I wouldn't want you going through this alone - and those two are just nosy." Al attempted a joke, nudging my arm. It made me smile, slightly.
"Yeah...it would be a little more stressful alone, huh?" I chuckled quietly and nudged him back. A real smile forming on both of our faces. He held his hand out for me to take, so I did. He squeezed it as he whispered, "It'll end up alright, we time traveled before we can do it again." I nodded and squeezed his hand back, finally calming down. We sat like that well the past talked amongst themselves, what I assume is planning what to ask us.
