Summary
Plot Bunnies, Prompts, and Fic Ideas
Note
This is a new collection of prompts and fic ideas I'm putting together because I have (literally) 100 or more ideas I've come up with that I will most likely never write or flesh out. I could put these on my fanfic focused Tumblr side-blog, but I'd rather share them here and hope they see a wider audience. Please feel free to adopt these plot bunnies if it strikes your fancy.Previous to this posting, I had a handful of plot bunnies works already, but I'm going to delete those and absorb them into this post, eventually, so they're not all over the place.I want to keep the tags to a minimum, so the relevant tags will be in the Notes, Title, or beginning of the relevant chapter.

Crossover #5 -- Marvel Cinematic Universe x Harry Potter

There is a 10 year age gap between Tony Stark and Harry Potter, movie and book.

To clarify:

  • Tony Stark — DOB: May 1970
  • Harry Potter — DOB: July 1980

If they were to meet at the turn of the Millennium, say 2000 exactly, this would mean that Tony is almost 30, and Harry is about 19 1/2.

In the aftermath of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — which would be circa May 1998 — Harry is told about his father’s mundane (-ish) cousin Antonio.

Antonio prefers to go by Tony — Anthony if he must, Antonio  is for his mother — and sort-of eagerly accepts communication with his baby cousin Hadrian. (“Harry, please.”)

By 2005 Harry is entirely fed up with the post-war politics of WGB not changinga god-damned single thing, and accepts Tony’s offer to live with him in Malibu.

Harry brings little Teddy Lupin with him, of course, and they visit Andy frequently before she passes when Teddy is 10-yo.

To clarify (in 2005):

  • Tony Stark — Age 35
  • Harry Potter — Age 25
  • Teddy Lupin — Age 7

Alternatively:

As the Master of Death, in each of Harry’s lives he has different vocation/career/profession, etc.

In this one, Harry happens to be the best Healer ever, and chooses to use his magic to heal Tony of all his physical trauma from Afghanistan, which removes all the shrapnel and eliminates the need for Tony to risk Heavy Metal Poisoning to keep his heart ticking.

Later, Harry will do the same for Bucky. He will remove the trigger words painlessly and harmlessly, and then heal the lasting damage to his grey matter and the mess of his shoulder, allowing either Tony or Wakanda to make his a prosthetic as he wishes.
