Criminal Minds Headcanons #6 - 13
★ | Spencer is a cat person, like Emily. I picture him with a Tabby or Maine Coon. Spencer can cook too, and he’s great at budgeting (like an adult). After Season 6, he learns to play the piano, which helps him relax after hard cases and turn off his brain for a little bit.
★ | I know MGG placed his revolver/holster awkwardly on purpose, but I think Spencer would have done better if he had a shoulder holster, and Season 14 showed he had a backup on his ankle, like Hotch. The later Seasons also show that Spencer has become one of the best short range marksmen in the FBI, so I think eventually (around Season 7) he should graduate to a Glock as his main and his Revolver as his backup.
❄ | I really, honest to god , hate the Jordan Todd Arc in Season 4. Instead, I think we should train Grant Anderson to take over as Media Liaison during JJ’s maternity leave.
- At the beginning of Season 6, JJ is conscripted into the Pentagon and State Department. Anderson should then be the first choice for the ML position on the BAU.
- At the beginning of Season 7, JJ returns to the BAU - this time as a Profiler. Anderson remains the Media Liaison.
❄ | I like the idea of Haley’s death (Season 5, “100”) having a domino effect to Will’s kidnapping in Season 7.
- For example, during “100” Hotch tells Jack to “work the case”, which tells Jack to hide from Foyet.
- If JJ uses that in s07e24, he hides from the criminal in their condo. That way Henry isn’t in danger while JJ kicks ass.
★ | I like the idea of Spencer keeping in touch with some of the kids he encounters during his 15 years on the BAU.

★ | I can honestly say I don’t know if Fraternization Regulations exist in the CM universe, but I usually assume they do, and as a result like to read fanfics where they don’t exist.
