Chapter 10

Blaise, Draco, Harley, Crabbe, and Goyle headed down to the stadium around ten the next Saturday morning. It was foggy, cold, and wet, but they were too excited to care.

Miles Bletchley and Marcus Flint were waiting for them in the locker rooms, already wearing the Slytherin Quidditch uniforms. When the five boys entered, they quickly stepped apart, Bletchley blushing slightly.

"The Gryffindor team isn't bad this year," Flint said coolly. "Wood, the bloody fanatic, has had them training every weekend at five in the fucking morning. He'll have them whipped into shape by now. Hopefully, the best brooms on the market can beat their team."

He turned to Draco. "You better prove that you're not just the Seeker because you have a rich father, Malfoy. You've been doing well during practice, but a real game is different."

Draco straightened. "I won't let you down, Captain."

"Good. Get dressed."

When eleven o'clock arrived, the team left the locker room to cheers. Harley waved over-dramatically at the crowd (Blaise saw Harrison roll his eyes from the second row, earning laughter from Hermione, Ron, Neville, and Colin). They headed over to the Gryffindor team.

"Good morning, baby noodles!" the Weasley twins chorused.

"Baby what?" Bletchley said indignantly, but Madam Hooch interjected.

"On my whistle," she called. "Three... two... one..."

Just as both teams shot into the air, one of the Bludgers shot directly towards the audience...

Straight at Harrison.

Ron gaped as the angry black ball headed straight for the crowd. Everyone around Harrison's little group screamed and struggled to run away. Hermione shoved Colin and Neville onto the ground.

Harrison stood up, furious eyes on the Bludger. The next moment, Ron felt a rush of powerful Dark magic rush past him and shoot towards the ball. It exploded and coated the stands below them in dark powder, like black snow.

Silence fell. Then the stands erupted into shouts of anger and surprise. Ron stared at Harrison.

"Blimey, you're fucking powerful."

Hermione snorted. "You're just realizing that now, Ron."

"No," Ron protested, earning slightly hysterical giggles from Neville and Colin.

"Harrison!"

Severus had arrived, looking panicked, and behind him was the headmaster, several other teachers, and-

Ron groaned when he saw an excited-looking Lockhart shoving his way towards them.

"Mr. Potter-Black," Dumbledore said calmly, "that was a powerful spell you just performed."

"It wasn't a spell, headmaster," Harrison corrected, leaning on Ron. He realized Harrison was just pretending to be faint, as any other twelve-year-old would have fainted from magical exhaustion. "I just... I didn't know who the Bludger was aiming at, and I didn't want my friends to be hurt."

"You performed accidental magic?" McGonagall said in shock.

Severus immediately pulled a vial out of his pocket containing clear liquid. Harrison took it and took a sip. "Thank you, Uncle Severus," he said, blinking.

"You're going straight to the hospital wing," Madam Pomfrey insisted. "You used a lot of your magic, and-"

"Forgive me, Madam Pomfrey, but I'm not missing my brother's first Quidditch game," Harrison interjected. "I'll come to the hospital wing immediately after. If I feel like I'm going to faint, my friends will drag me there anyway," he added, seeing the sternly exasperated look on Hermione's face.

Harley, Draco, and Blaise suddenly appeared, hovering above them. "You alright?" Draco asked Harrison, a mixture of awed and worried.

"Fine, just a little tired," Harrison assured them, glancing at Blaise. "You can tell Madam Hooch to start the game."

Harley shot back down and almost crashed into the woman, he was so eager to play.

Slytherin won, obviously.

Draco woke up in the middle of the night with a weight on his stomach. He yelped when he saw Dobby standing on his chest.

"For the last time, Dobby-"

"Dobby is sorry, Master Draco," the elf said quickly as Blaise and Harley sat up, Harley looking groggy, "but he is being knowing who is cursing the Bludger."

"Who?!"

Dobby rattled off a few names Draco didn't recognize, but Blaise obviously did, because he growled, "Those are the Gryffindors Percy said wanted to attack Harrison."

"What?" Harley and Draco chorused, alert now.

"Dobby, could you tell Professor Snape and Harrison?" Blaise told the elf. Dobby nodded and disappeared with a loud crack! "We can't do anything right now, so just go back to sleep. We'll visit Harrison in the morning."

Harley flopped back down on his pillow immediately, but from his stiff position, Draco knew the boy wasn't planning on sleeping.

"Harley, let Professor Snape and Harrison deal with the idiots," Blaise told him firmly. "You need sleep. If Harrison does want you to do something, you'll need the energy anyway."

Groaning, Harley obeyed. Draco did the same.

Well... I know who Harrison's going to pick as his second.
