After the recent tragedy, that was the death of the second Robin.
Batman and Nightwing had just placed a couple B list villains back into Arkham and were about to leave until Poison Ivy started running to them.
"Thank the gods you two are here. My niece is coming to meet the Joker, and I don't mean a friendly introduction or chat. I think she's going to kill him." Said the panicking rogue, who was looking more human than plant due to her obvious stress.
"Wait, you have a niece." Said the differently confused, but not outwardly showing said confusion Batman.
"Yes, my niece, though my younger sister Lily, her name is also plant related, but I think you're missing the important information. Which is my niece who was trained in combat since birth, and has meta human powers is now aiming to use said skills on the Joker." Said the now distressed, paranoid, panicking, and very much concerned Poison Ivy.
"Why is she aiming to hurt the Joker." Was Nightwing's question.
"I don't honestly know. I mean, I've raised her since her mother died, and her father was deemed unfit to care for a child, but she's a fifteen year old kid. There's always something their keeping a secret." Was what Ivy deemed as an acceptable answer, and it honestly was acceptable to Batman and Nightwing.

After Batman, Nightwing and Ivy got into Arkham to where the Joker was. They made it just in time as the anti-hero, Spade, came into the room and was going straight to the Joker.
"That's my niece, and yes, she's a vigilante. But she considers herself a anti hero, she believes that all hero's usually end up sacrificing themselves. Which is probably just childhood trauma from watching her mother die to save her life." Said Ivy in quick but sad tone of voice.
Before Ivy ran to Spade, and got in front of the teen girl. Who was decked out in black, green and white with a green circle in the middle of her protective gear, and inside the circle was a white spade.
"Don't do this Spade, if you do this, you might regret it later in your life." Said the aunt to her niece, who looked at Ivy then said something so quite that only Ivy heard. But apparently, it was enough as Ivy stepped out of Spade's way and glared at Joker while walking back to Batman and Nightwing.
"Turns out he killed someone close to her. Joker has a list of people he can't kill from Spade. But he killed one of the most important people on the list." Was what Ivy said to the duos curious looks.
When Spade made it to the Joker, who had not been paying attention to the chaos happening as he was doing what looked like thinking. Before, he was promptly slapped in the face, which had him looking angry, before he saw it was Spade who did the slapping.
"What did I do to deserve that Spade." Said a now annoyed Joker, who was not actually angry, just annoyed he didn't even look insane at the moment.
"You killed my boyfriend, no that word doesn't even explain what you did, no you tortured him to death." Said the seething teenager.
"What." Said the wide-eyed man to the teen. Who had got even angrier at Joker's words and started beating the Joker.
"Stop Spade." Said Joker, who wasn't hitting or attacking Spade back, but was unsuccessfully trying to avoid being hit by the teen.
"No, you killed him. Now I'm going to kill you if it's the last thing I do." Said Spade in reply.
After a while, Nightwing tried to intervene in what was happening.
"Hey, Spade, the Joker is worth killing he isn't worth anything, and killing him won't bring back whoever you lost." Nightwing was trying to be understanding of spades feelings. Because Nightwing and Batman both wanted to kill the man for what he did to Robin, but they knew that it wouldn't bring the teenager back to life, and if they killed Joker, they might not stop at just killing the Joker they could end up killing everyone.
But then Spade, who had stopped hitting Joker turned to Nightwing and looked at him in the eyes or as close as that gets when wearing masks that cover your eyes, that both Nightwing and Spade are wearing.
"So you wouldn't do the same if your dad killed your boyfriend. The person who you had only just told you were pregnant with their kid, and now after said father killed the boyfriend. You only have the baby that's growing inside you that you're afraid you might miscarry, and that would end in you having nothing of him anymore." Said Spade to Nightwing, but after she said the rather sad explanation, she turned to the Joker, who was looking at spades stomach, after hearing about the baby she was pregnant with. The baby that he had apparently already orphaned before the baby took their first breath.
"Wait, dad, is the Joker your dad." Said Batman, who was trying not to focus on the fact that a baby had been orphaned before they even were born.
"Unfortunately, he was never the same after my mum died saving me from his deranged cousin, who believed his drugged up hallucination where I or my god-brother would kill him. Then, we went to try and kill us both who were babies at the time who were not even two years old and decided to kill us, instead of realising that it was a drug induced hallucination." Said Spade, while Joker was still looking at spades stomach, and then looked at spades face, and then something akin to realisation appeared in his eyes.
"The second Robin is the only person I've tortured to death in the last year. It's his baby. You've been running around with a bat." Said the scarily sane looking Joker to his newly revealed and apparently pregnant daughter.
"Yes, and you killed your grandchild's father. You orphaned your own grandchild." Said Spade, who gave Joker one last look then turned to Poison Ivy and linked arms with her, then the two walked out of the room leaving a sane looking and crying Joker, a shocked and sad, but also happy Nightwing and a hopeful Batman, behind in the room.

After leaving Arkham, both Ivy and Spade went back to Ivy's Island.
"So Hawthorn, did you and Jason decide on names before he died." Asked a sad toned Ivy to her niece, who had changed into her civilian clothes, and apparently without the suit on had a tiny bump, only noticeable if you knew that Hawthorn was pregnant.
"Yes, Aunt Petunia, Regulus for Uncle Reg if it's a boy, and Catherine-Lily if it's a girl." Was Hawthorn's response to her aunt's question.
"I know that your childhood wasn't the best, first with your insane father, then with my jerk of a husband Vernon, who thankfully died because of his health issues quickly and quite painfully, and with Rowan who thankfully loved the fact he could change his name being in and out of our lives because for some reason he prefers boarding schools. And with Neville always in and out of our lives. Luna who is always showing up at random times, but always somehow knows everything and shows up at times when she's needed. But I care for you, I raised you from when you were two years old, I loved you when my sister couldn't, and I promise I will always be here for you if I can." Said Petunia Evans to her niece while holding her niece's hand.
"Thank you, Aunt Nia. I think I need to hear that after what's happened." Said Hawthorn, whose eyes were glazed over in wetness, prompting Petunia to pull her niece into a hug and rubbing her back as Hawthorn started crying.
Then, she was joined by Luna, Neville, and Rowan, who had just come through the floo network, turning the hug into a group hug.
And then Luna said something.
"The lost bird will return." Was what the blonde quietly spoke. Having the other four who knew that Luna had a unique understanding of the powers of the universe.
