Chapter 2
~Ella Pov~
Percy grabbed my hand and we ran to all the classes looking for our names on The board.
I kept looking for my name…longer than the average person would.
I saw Percy's name and I looked beneath it and saw Sarah Louis.
"That's a nice name," I thought.
I was confused I must have read the list three times then I realised my name isn't ELENA Anymore it's Sarah Louis, I mentally slapped myself.
I quickly went back over the list and beneath Percy's name was Sarah Louise right where it had been earlier.
"Great we have our first class of the day together, "I said.
I turned to look at him and he was smiling at me.
"What?, " I asked laughing.
"Nothing, " he replied.
~Percy pov~
I was really confused, I mean she saw her name then re-read the thing three times then realised something and found her name on it in two seconds.
Actually she looked kind of cute when she was confused.
I couldn't help but smile when she finally saw her name where it was, underneath my name all along.
She turned and said "Great we have our first class of the day together".
She turned around looked at me and noticed I was just smiling at her.
"What?, "She asked laughing.
"Nothing ," I replied but I couldn't stop smiling.
Then the announcement on the speaker overhead went off.
"Everyone to the Yancy hall NOW, " It said.
"Race you there," she said and she took off running.
I ran after her and easily caught up to her.
"See you there, "I said and took off running at full speed until I realized I had absolutely no idea where I'm going.
And that's when I heard a voice on the intercom yell.
‘’Don’t forget it's near the white-marble arch."
I have never been more thankful to hear a school announcement on the intercom.
I ran to the marble arch and saw that the most beautiful girl in the world was standing there with all the other students. Wait what?! Stop thinking these thoughts Jackson!
Once she saw me , she ran over and hugged me and whispered in my ear "I win."
"Only because I got lost, " I replied cocking an eyebrow.
"Whatever you say, " she replied rolling her eyes with a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
It wasn’t long before a bald chubby man came up to the platform building next to the white-marble arch said " okay, school will start tomorrow art exactly 7:45 am,and dinner will be served in the Yancy Hall every night at exactly 8 pm.
If your late it isn't my problem,now if you will please get a piece of paper and a pen"
Everyone got a paper and pen out of their school bag.
"Now I will call out your names and what dorm you will be staying in and who is your roommate".
I kind of zoned out while he was reading the names until I heard "Perseus Jackson and Grover Underwood dorm 335."
I smiled at Sarah and she smiled back as I quickly scribbled down the dorm number and my roommate ‘s name.
Then he continues "Sarah Louis ,Rachel bay and Izzy Johnson dorm 336."
Sarah wrote down her details too, and we just listened to the rest of the names.
At the end the chubby bald man said "as you will notice we have three girls per girl dorm and the boys dorm is only two per dorm that is because we have more girls than boys attending this school, good day, see you at dinner and don't be late, you may go unpack and do whatever now.I really don't care. you will receive your order of lessons tomorrow at breakfast which starts at 7;00 . Good day. "
And with that he left.
Then some boy came up to Sarah and said "hi are you Sarah Louis?"
"Yes" she replied.
I don't know why but their was this sudden angry feeling in me when he spoke to her.
"I just wanted to warn you about Rachel and Izzy they always play a prank on the new person in their dorm and...well last time the person ended up in the lake with a sack around their head, she almost drowned.’’After seeing the horrified look on our faces he quickly continued.
’But you know,no pressure".
I had the overwhelming urge to punch that guy.
I’m sure he sensed it as he quickly walked off.
To be honest… I was really worried…I didn't want anything bad to happen to her.
"Well I have been in worse situations, "she said as she shrugged.
"What situations?! What are worse than being kidnapped and almost drowning?!,"I asked shocked.
"That's a secret you will never know Perseus Jackson," she replied laughing.
I flinched at my name, nobody called me my normal name, they don't know.
"How did you know my whole name?," I asked shocked.
"Because they just announced it when you had to get your dorm number ."
"Oh...you were listening to that I kind of zoned out,’’I said, scratching the back of my head embarrassedly.
"Hey can I ask you a personal question?"
"Um...okay " I replied nervously.
"Are you ADHD and or dyslexic?"
"How did you..."
How the heck did she know that?!
"You were squinting your eyes while writing your details down and you can't keep still, if you are still you keep tapping your foot or something, "She replied.
Dang …she’s smart.
No point in lying .
After all… what’s the harm?
"Yeah I'm ADHD and Dyslexic ," I answered cautiously.
Her reaction surprised me.
She squealed happily and hugged me.
"That's great!"
"What?"
"Im ADHD and Dyslexic too!"
I felt an instant sense of relief go through me.
Finally…I’ve met someone who understands what it’s like.
"No way!"
"Yes way!, well i need to go unpack,I will see you at dinner bye"
"Bye, I replied.
That's when I decided I need to go pack too, so I got my piece of paper put and looked at it.

~Ella pov~
I just met Izzy and Rachel, they seem nice.
Nothing like that boy from earlier was warning me about.
I finished packing and I looked at the time, it was 7:55pm
So I decided to go tell Percy and this Grover kid to get ready for dinner.
What dorm were they in again?
Oh right.
335.
Right next to our dorm.
I told Izzy and Rachel I would meet them at dinner since they were still busy unpacking.
I was wearing a long sleeve sweater with long jeans on.
I'm surprised nobody has asked me why I always were long - sleeves.
Not that I would tell them the real reason ,it's horrible ...to give my skin an extra protective layer from rain.
Ugh how I hate water.
It burns.
Scorching hot water droplets that feel like they were sent from the deepest darkest corners of hell just to torment me.
Whoever likes rainy weather are absolute sadists.
But then again water doesn't seem to affect others the way it does to me.
Maybe they are just good at hiding it.
The pain.
I went out and knocked on the door outside.
"Come in" yelled two voices.
I went in and I saw Percy sitting in a chair and who I assume to be Grover reading a book.
When Percy saw me he smiled.
"Hi Sarah " he said
"Hi Perce, just wanted to tell you both that dinner is starting in two minutes."
"Oh my gosh, i totally forgot about that " he replied.
"I got to go,see you two tomorrow bye guys"
I was just about to walk out the door.
"Wait Sarah!"
I turned around.
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering if... um... maybe... you ...wanted to sit with us at dinner."
"Sure, I will meet you guys there.Bye!"
"Bye Sarah," I heard from two voices echo behind me as I closed the door.
~Percy pov~
I was In my dorm room with Grover just relaxing.
Grover was reading some book.
Then there was a knock on our door.
"Come in " Grover and I replied.
And in came...Sarah.
I have never been so happy in my life to see her, plus I was so extremely bored.
And when I saw her I couldn't help smiling.
Why.can.I. Not. Stop. Smiling?!
"Hey Ella " I replied.
"Hey Perce , just wanted to tell you that dinner starts in two minutes"
I forgot about dinner, I'm glad Sarah came to remind me about it.
"Oh my gosh,I actually forgot about that " I admitted.
"I got to go, I will see you two tomorrow bye," she said as she was about to exit the door.
I don't know why but I had this sudden urge saying 'wait I'm only going to see her again tomorrow'!
Before I could stop myself I blurted "Sarah wait!"
"Yeah?"
"I was wondering...If um...maybe... "
Why did I stop her from leaving?
"You wanted to sit with us at dinner?," I thought quickly.
Lame move Jackson.
"Sure,I will meet you guys there, bye guys"
"Bye Sarah " Grover and I said.
As soon as she had left Grover said " you like her, don't you?"he asked.
My face must have been as red as a tomato.
"Of course, as a friend.’’
"Right..."he replied sarcastically.
We left the dorm and we're going down the stairs, when we heard not-so-distant voices around the corner "so...should we try to drown her, like that other person last year?"
"Yeah, Sarah Louise is going down...to the lake"
"So when are we doing it, midnight? "
"Yeah No - one will notice"
I'm guessing that must be Rachel And Izzy.
OH WE SO HAVE TO FIND SARAH!
~Ella Pov~
As I was walking down I heard scurrying footsteps and next thing u know I'm being pulled into the cafeteria by non - other than Grover and Percy
"Don't tell me you guys are that hungry" I joked.
"We have important information " Grover said.
"Ok so you know Izzy and Rachel-"
Percy stopped short of his sentence because Izzy and Rachel just turned up.
"Hey mind if we sit with you"
"Actually-"
"Of course you may " I replied. Cutting off Grover's sentence.
I'm pretty sure Percy gave Grover a worried glance.
The lunch ladies scooped up our food and we went to go sit at a cafeteria table.
For some reason Percy and Grover kept glancing at each other, and the two girls kept smirking.
But I didn't care I was starving.
I eyed the bottle of water on the table, it must have been Izzy's or Rachel's as I didn't see Percy or Grover bring one to the table.
Water always made me uneasy.
Ever since I was born , whenever my skin came into contact with water I would be in soul-crushing agonizing pain.
It felt as though somebody poured acid all over my flesh.
It's like I'm on fire...being burned alive from inside.
I honestly never understood how people could drink that stuff daily.
I feel like my throat is getting eaten from the inside out but I know we have to drink it so at least once a day I force myself to drink that vile wretched drink.
So I finished my food quickly, it didn't taste that bad especially in comparison to water.
"How can you eat this food?, the food is disgusting. "said Izzy turning her nose up at the food ,clearly disgusted.
I finished my plate first and got up to leave,"Okay, see you guys tomorrow"
"Wait! We will walk you to your dorm"said Grover who was also finished along with Percy.
"Um...okay?"
"Bye Sarah"said Izzy and Rachel in unison.
Once we were a good distance away Percy and Grover explained what they had heard about what Rachel and Izzy were planning.
Wow…although I probably should have expected it…I mean that other boy in the cafeteria did warn me about them.
Although I’m sure they are all bark and no bite.
After all how many homicidal children are just running around?
"So what are we gonna do?,"Grover asked.
"Absolutely nothing, " I replied casually.
They both looked at me like I was mental.
"Sarah,they are going to try and kidnap and drown you tonight!"Percy whisper - shouted so no - one would hear.
"I'd like to see them try, I have been in worse situations, trust me, I have nothing to worry about."
"Like what?!" they whisper-shouted in unison.
I raised my eyebrows "Do u trust me?"
"Yes, but-"
"But nothing, I can take care of myself, and with that being said, goodnight."
I waved goodbye and started to walk away when Percy grabbed my shoulder (gently of course) and tuned me around to face him, but it still shocked me and said "please promise me, you will be careful and not go looking for danger".
"Gee Perce, you make it sound like I'm going off to war ," I joked.
"Promise me " he said, his voice cracking a little.
"Fine, I promise ," I said.
"Goodnight, " I said as a I gave a smile.
"Goodnight ," Percy said giving me a smile.
"Um...Goodnight " Grover said nervously.
And they started walking away, well...more like Grover pulling Percy away.
I smiled at how much he cared about me.
I saw Percy and Grover disappear around the corner and I started walking towards my dorm.
As I was walking to my dorm, i heard a clock chime somewhere In the distance signalling that it's midnight , but how could it have gotten so late already?
Blame the ADHD.
As I was about to enter my dorm I remembered that I forgot my journal by the cafeteria when I got up to leave.
So I decided to quickly go down and get it.
As I was walking down the silent hallway, the door to a janitor’s closet opened and two pairs of hands grabbed me and pulled me in.
