Magic and Gunpowder

Henrique's Birthday was getting closer. That being said, the entire Mannor was in chaos. People were running around like headless chicken. It was their Prince's birthday and everything had to be perfect. Raul was baking the best cake he had ever created. It was a seven layer chocolate cake, covered with toffee and salted caramel. Valentino had opted the Security around the house, but he was curently raiding the stores, in order to find the perfect gift. Even though he had already bought a ton. Marco was racing in Italy, in order to get his boss to every single store. Emillio was senting invitations, to their Allies. People were decorating the place, with the help of house elves. Lord Cafaro was rampaging his personal library, for the perfect book. De Falco flew to Milan and then to Verona, for the best presents. Giuseppe was checking everything in the Yacht, preparing it for a trip. 

Antonio was currently on his 5th coffee and was shaking, while checking the Security. Diego was on his way back with his present. Nico was in the corner, smoking something from the Greenhouse.  There was a great chaos happening and that is the exact picture Henrique saw, when he got out of his room. He turned to Birna "What is happening?", the little elf smiled "We is preparing for young Master's birthday party". Henrique laughed "Is papa back yet?". Guido was the one that answered this time "No My Prince. The Don said that he will be back soon though." Henrique nodded and thanked him.

He went to the library, with Venom. He had a feeling that Father Death would show up today. "You are correct My Child." He turned to see Death coming from a corner and smiled "Father Death!" he yelled and run to the God. "Hello My Child. And happy birthday!". Henrique beamed "Thank you! It's so good to see you Father Death". They both sat close to the window "Yes.Now, I'm here to give you your gift!" said Death, Ηenrique was vibrating with excitement. "Now, If I remember correctly. I had promised you a certain someone." The young boy stared, did Father Death freed padfoot? "Not exactlly. I may have messed a little with my sister Fate. And I may have arranged for a trial for your Godfather. I also may or may not, have blocked Albus Dumbledore of attenting that specific trial." Henrique was speachless. 

"I will have to inform your father. I do not believe Valentino would be happy, when Sirius Black shows up." That made Henrique look at him weird.

"Why?" He asked and Death petted his hair. "Simply because, Sirius Black would want to take you away. He was supposed to be the one raising you, in case your parents die. But he won't be able to do that now, since Valentino adopted you. There might be some problems, but you don't have to worry. I am also planning on speaking with your Papa. But after your birthday. This is your big day!". Henrique smiled at Father Death "That is just one of your presents My Child." Said Death and extended his skeletal palm, suddenly there were four books on the floor. One of them was a thick ebony black, the one next to it was blood red and equally thick. The third one was frorest green, a little lighter than the other two and finally the last book, was the biggest one, it was dark grey. Henrique picked the black one up and looked at the title.
 'Necromancy By Veronica De Castella', the red one was titled 'Blood Magic', the green one said 'Walking with the Dead. How to create inferi, a practical Guide', and the grey one said 'Death's Magic'. 

Henrique looked up at Father Death "For me?" Death nodded and he smiled. Henrique thanked him and he left.

Valentino finally made it, to his house. He walked to his son's room, to find him reading "Happy Birthday My Little Emerald!" he said and his son, jumped in his arms. "Papa! You're back!" Valentino chuckled and held his son a little closer. "Now My Little Emerald, let's get ready fro your birthday. The Ball is tonight!" Henrique blinked "Ball?" His papa smiled "Well of course, there is going to be a Ball for you. This is an importand date. All of our Allies would be here tonight, to honor you."

Henrique nodded. "You sould start getting ready, because if I'm not mistaken, there are a few presents waiting for you downstairs." The young boy was in his bathroom in a flash. Who would say no to presents! He got ready and met his papa outside of his room. They both got downsatirs, where the entire Mafia plus their Allies were waiting. "SURPRISE!" They yelled making Henrique smile. After many wishes for 'Happy Birthday' and even more hugs, it was time for presents. Valentino had installed an Emerald giant armchair, well a Thore actually and Henrique took his place. One by one they all gave him his presents. Lord Cafaro walked forward and kneeled in front of the birthday boy. "My Prince. My gift for your Birthday are those two books, of my personal library. Being a De Castella, it's in your blood. So allow me to present to you 'Salazar Slytherin's Book Of Spells', 'Shadow Magic, chanelling your inner Dementor'. 

Henrique's eyes widen and thanked Lord Cafaro. Next was De Falco, he also kneeled. "My Prince. My gift for you are twelve Daggers. Two of them are pure golden, with emerald. Two are pure silver with a big Emerald in the middle. Two are Black as night, with silver lining. Two are Iron made, with black. Two are Crimson Red, with gold. The last Two are Emerald, with silver touches." Everyone, slowly stepped forward and each gave their presents to the birthday boy. Valentino and Giuseppe were the only ones left. Giuseppe walked and kneeled "My Prince. For your birthday present I have arranged for a trip with the Yacht, around Italy." Henrique actually clapped on that and giggled thanking Giuseppe. 

Valentino Finally walked to his son. "My Son. My Little Emerald. For this special day, you deserve a special present" Henrique pereked up on that. "Now, I've searched all of Italy, for the right present. And I have decided, to gift you ALL OF ITALY! Bring in the presents". Four men walked in, each carring trailers, filled with presents. Henrique looked at his dad and then at the mountains of presents. "Papa? Are they for me?" Valentino smiled "Of course My Little Emerald. Down to the last one". The little boy smiled and ran to the pilles of presents. His day couldn't get better.

Back in England, a different type of meeting was taking place. The Wizengamont was full. The Minister hit her grovel "Please bring in the accused!". The giant doors opened and in alked five people. Four Aurrors and one more man. Said man looked like he had seen better days, he was dirty, skinny and dressed in rags. He had shackles on his feet that were conected to those on his hands. They sat him on the chair. "Order! Sirius Black. This is your trial. You are accused of murdering Peter Pettigrew and twelve others. You are also acused of betraying the Late Lord Potter and his Late wife, Lady Potter, by giving their location to He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. How do you plea?"

Sirius Black looked at the Ministers face. "Not guilty". The Minister hummed "Do you concent on Veritaserum?". Black nodded. The Healer pured three drops in his mouth and the Wizengamont saw his eyes clouding. The Minister nodded.

"What is your name?"
"Sirius Orion Black the Third"
"Where did you study?"
"Hogward Schoold of Witchcraft and Wizardry"
"What was your Hogwart House?"
"Gryffindor". The Minister nodded.

"Did you betray the Potters?"
"No" The champer ghasped. Some of them were screaming that he was a liar, others were saying he's inoccent. "Silence!"
"Where you the Potters Secret Keeper?"
"No". Chaos again. If Black wasn't the secret keeper, then who was it and why was he arrested.
"Who was the Secret Keeper?"
"Peter Pettigrew"
"Then why did you killed him?"
"I didn't". The champer was in an uproar.
"Tell us what happened"
"That day I had a horrible feeling. So I went to check on Peter. But his house was empty and I feared the worse. So I went to James's, only to find my best friend dead. I walked upstairs only to find Lily dead. My baby godson, my Prongslette was alive and crying. Then Hagrid showed up to take Harry, he said Albus sent him, to take Harry. Hagrid said that Petter was still out theres, and that I as an Aurror should catch him. I told him that I;m not leaving Harry, but he insisted. Hagrid is a pretty big fellow, I wasn't going to fight him, so I gave him Harry and my motorcycle and I went to find petter. I found him couple streets down. He said I betrayed them. That it was all my fault. He then blew up the street and turned into Wormtail and left, after cutting his own finger off." The champer was in an uproar again. They were screaming, yelling, calling him a liar, otheres were saying the Ministry was useless, they were saying how the tossed the Lord of an Ancient and Noble House in Azkaban, while he was inoccent. "Silence! Who and What is Wormtail?".

Sirius looked up "Peter Pettigrew is Wormtail. It's his animagus name. His form is a rat." The Minister was shocked.
"You are telling me that Peter Pettigrew is an Animagus?"
"Yes". The chamber went crazy. Just when the Minister was getting ready fro her next question, the doors opened and a man dressed in black, with the greenest eyes walked in. What shocked them was that, he was dragging a very alive Petter Pettigrew with him. The Aurrors jumped in and pointed their wands at him "Who are you stranger?". The stranger smiled "My name is not of importance. I believe you were looking for this person?". He dropped Pettigrew in the middle of the chamber. Pettigrew was bound down fast. The Minister was still looking at the stranger. "Thank you for your help. But I must still insist, to tell us your name." The stranger smirked. 

"My name is Ades Thanatos." And then he disappeared. They didn't waste any time and questioned Pettigrew under Veritaserum, quickly confirming what Black had said. Pettigrew was sentenced to the Kiss, While Sirius Black was freed and awarded a generous amound of gold, for his troubles. But he didn;t care, all Sirius wanted was his Godson. Problem was, nobody knew where the boy was. Sirius ran out and bumped into the man that brought Peter in "You'll find him here." He said and gave him a paper with an address, he went to answer, but he found noone there. Sirius knew that he couldn't find Harry on his own. So he payed his old lover a visit.

Remus Lupin was looking at his old lover, like he was seeing a ghost. Sirius was bitting his lip, waiting for Remus to say something, but no sound came. Then he felt hands around him and a familiar smell. "I knew it. I knew you were innocent. I knew my Mate would never do something like that. I knew you would never betray them, betray us. I;m so sorry Siri. I;m so sorry My Love". That broke the dam between them and they both cried. They cried for their friends, They cried for their cub/pup, they cried for eachother, they cried for all those years they've lost. 

"I know where he is Moony. I know where the pup is!" He said and the werewolf finally smiled. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go get our Cub". And they began their journey to Italy.

Valentino was in his room, getting ready fro his son's Birthday Ball, when he felt the temperature drop. He turned around and came face to face with a hooded figure. He ghasped and kneeled "Father Death. It is an honor to be in front of you". He felt skeletal fingers on his chin, "Raise My Child. There is no need to kneel." Valentino stood up and let his eyes fall to Father Death for the very first time. "My Child. My Reaper. I am here to inform you about Your Son. I Have freed his Godfather and he is curentlly on his way here. Sirius Black may cause you troubles at first, but you'll need him. Do Not Kill Him. He is not a threat, especially to Henrique. Now, as I'm speaking about him. I have warned him of the Evil that is after Him. Do not be afraid, your son would be safe.

Now do not forget Son. Do not kill Sirius Black. Because if you do, your son would never forgive you". Death left, leaving Valentino alone.

Sirius and Remus made it to Italy. Sirius was vibrating with excitement, he was foing to see his pup. Remus fanally smiled after years "Come on Padfoot. Let's go and get our Cub" Sirius nodded "We are coming Prongslette".

They stoped in front of a giant Manor. The place was huge. Remus narrowed his eyes, how were they going to find Harry inside this place? Sirius took his hand. "We'll find him Moony, trust me"

Henrique was having the time of his life! His papa was there with him, his uncles were also there, everybody was there. There was music playing and children giggling. He was curentlly talking with five other kids, three girls and two boys. One of the boys was called Sandiago, but he insisted to be called Sandi. The other boy's name was Blaise, Henrique wasn't so sure about this guy. One of the girls was named Evelina, she had short blonde hair and green eyes. Next to her was her cousin Isabella, she had blue eyes and a darker shade blond hair, although hers were long. Lastly was Beatrice, she had long light brown hair and big Hazel eyes. Sandi had short brown hair and warm brown eyes. Blaise had dark brown eyes and brown hair. 

He was having fun with all of his new friends, talking and laughing. When Valentino stood up and lightly hit his glass, with his fork. They all stoped and looked at him. Valentino smiled and stood up in the middle of the room. "I would like to thank each and everyone of you, for honoring us tonight, for My Son's birthday. It warms my heart, to see all of our Allies gathered here today, for My Little Emerald. Thank you all for attending. Now, without further interuptions." He clapped his hands and the doors opened, in walked Raul pushing a cart that was carrying the biggest chocolate cake they had ever see. It had seven levels and it was all chocolate, decorated with colorfull details, caramel and toffee. On top were sitting six candles. He stopped in front of Henrique and bowed. 

Henrique was looking at the cake with wide eyes, making his papa chuckle. "Come on My Little Emerald. This is your moment." They all sang happy birthday and he blew his candles, with a thunderous applause.  

Henrique and the other kids were playing in the garden, after the cake. Beatrice was sitting next to him, dangling her feet of the bench, she was wearing a lavender dress that was ending little above her knees. Henrique smiled at her "Are you having fun?" she nodded and smiled back "Yea, tons. The cake was also nice. Are you having fun?". He giggled "Yes! And I really love making  new friends." Beatrice smiled again "Me too! My Papa. doesen't really let me out. He says it's dangerous." Henrique nodded, his papa is the same. He doesen't have many friends, but he really liked Beatrice.

"I don't really have many friends." He said and saw her nod. "Me neither. I've desided that we are going to be friends from now on. Best friends!" She said and she offered her hand, Henrique shook it "Best Friends!".

Sirius and Remus made it into the Manors garden, when they heared a sound and felt something on their backs. "Now, What do we have here? Trespassers?! The Boss won't be happy with you. It's the Prince's birthday, noone is going to ruin his day." Said a voice behind them. Sirius went to answer but Remus beat him to it. "We did not mean to ruin the Prince's party. We are just looking for someone and we were told we'll find him here. We come in peace. We mean no harm."

"And who are you looking for Wolfboy?" asked the voice again and Remus froze. These people knew he was a werewolf. He swallowed "We are looking for the man called Valentino De Castella." Apparently, that was the wrong thing to say. They felt pain in their heads and everything went black.

The next day, Valentino was in his office when Carlos and Guido walked in. They both bowed. "Boss. There is something you need to know." Valentino signal them to go on "The dogs are in the basement." Valentino smiled "Excelent! Take me to them and they better be alive, or I'm having your heads!". They gulped and followed their Boss.

They got to the basement and stoped in front of a cell. "Well. They look like they are breathing.". Sirius groaned at the voice and Remus tried to stand up. They looked around and focused on the people out of their cell. "Who are you?! Where are we?! Where is My Godson?!" Screamed Sirius. Valentino raised his hand "Please calm down Mister Black. I heared you and the Wolf were looking for me. So here I am!". Remus frowned "You are Valentino De Castella?" Valentino bowed "In the flesh. I was waiting for you, you are late." Sirius looked at the Mafia leader and growled. That man knew where his godson was! "Where is My Godson?" He asked again and Valentino stayed calm. 

"If you please calm down, I will explain everything and then I'll take you to him." They agreed and Valentino nodded. "Firstly, you both need to know that your Godson, is My Son.......

Valentino walked to his son's room. The little boy was talking to snake about his new friends, and especially his new best friend, Beatrice. "My Little Emerald". The young boy stoped and looked at his papa. He run to his arms. "Papa!" Valentino smiled and sat on his son's bed, with his son on his lap. "My Little Emerald. I have one last present fro you, it arrived last night. Would you like to see?" Henrique nodded and wondered what his papa got him, that came last night.

Valentino clicked his fingers and the door opened. In walked Sirius and Remus. Upon seing them Henrique squealed loudly and ran to them yelling at the top of his lungs "PADFOOT MOONY! YOU'RE HERE!". They both hugged their Cub/Pup, breathing his scent. Finally they were with him again. They would never let anything happend to him. They would protect him with their lives, thewy owed that to James and Lily. They'll do anything to keep him safe. Even joining the Mafia if they had to.

Sirius looked briefly at Valentino who nodded. His pup was safe, that's all that mattered right now. This man even stood up against Dumbledore and the Wizengamont for him. He even destroyed Lucius Malfoy. He is definetly joining him, without a second thought. He looked at Remus, to see him nod. Well, Mafia it is then.
