Haunted by us
Summary
This is a very short scene about the death of Evan Rosier and Barty Crouch Jr. being the witness
Note
I was thinking about including this in a fic, but I probably won't, so here it is. (idk, I just made myself sad.) I'd be happy to receive feedback

Barty stared with his eyes wide open as Evan Rosier fell quietly – almost inaudibly – to the ground. While the battle around him continued, he ran. It was a sheer miracle that he, in the middle of the combat, was not hurt by any curses flying around. Everything he could think about was his lover, how he lay on the ground right there. As soon as he reached Evan, he was attacked by the aurors. Blinded by pure rage and pain, he shot one deathly curse after another towards them, just on and on, until everything around him went quiet. Almost no one was around him anymore, just a few death eaters, all surrounded by bodies. Some of his former classmates were lying around him, but he didn’t even notice, nor did he care. Bend down over his boyfriend, Barty Crouch Jr. fell down next to him. “Evan. Evan, it’s over. Please,” he whispered, tears rising up in his eyes and his throat closing. “Please. Please! Come back to me,” he pleaded over and over until he was screaming it. He screamed tremendously, like he felt all the pain the world could hold, with an animalistic sound, cried and shook Evan over and over, but his eyes were stiff and inanimate. Eventually, Barty collapsed, sobbing over his cold body, when he had to realise that those eyes, those blue, vibrant eyes never look at him again full of love. Those eyes, which were staring into his just seconds before he fell. Everything Barty had left from them was their coldness.
“Please. Don’t leave me. Not like this,” he susurrated between cries. “You’re not gone. You can’t be.” Of course Evan couldn’t hear him. Evan would never see, hear or feel Barty ever again. Finally, some death eaters bent down to Barty and tried to get him away, telling him, more aurors were coming soon and they had to leave. But Barty screamed, pointing at them with his wand, saying he’d kill all of them if they wouldn’t let him be, so they left, scared for their own lifes by the aurors, and everything that was left to hear on the battlefield were Barty’s cries and sobs. “Please. You’re all I wanted”, he cried. He had this feeling that something went terribly wrong. His sobs, like a wounded animal, filled the air. An air rich of smoke and death. And while holding Evan and crying, he swore himself something. He swore, he’d get revenge. He’d kill everyone, aurors, his father, order members and even the death eaters if needed, just to get justice for Evan. Justice already was what he deemed it to be. Everyone he could even slightly deem responsible for the death of his lover would die. And suddenly, his tears stopped. Anger rose in his heart, anger like he’d never felt it before. He became a death eater for Evan. He sacrificed his life to be with him and yet, they were robbed. This anger would haunt him for the rest of his life, fuel his malicious deeds while having nothing left to lose. And while he stood up with his wand in his hand, the aurors arrived.
