The Unbreakable Vow

"You're late." Taehyun stated, indifferently as I walked into our usual meeting destination, The Clock Tower. "You should be glad that I came." I smirked as I walked upto Taehyun who was facing me while leaning onto the railing.
It's already dark outside.
I had engaged in an inevitable matter. Ivy (not quite) accidentally spilt some of her wine on Zoe's robes. Zoe had the nerve to talk back. Hence, dragging her along with her little friend, Thea to our common room, we had no choice but to teach them a lesson.
I can guarantee you, Zoe wouldn't have the courage to wear ugly underwear after this.
"The unbreakable vow." Taehyun said as soon as I reached him. "Eh?" I didn't quite get it.
"Remus Lupin suggested Narcissa Black to make the unbreakable vow with her then boyfriend and later husband, Lucius Malfoy. They vowed to get married. She announced it on the day of her betrothal to Sirius Black and in this way they were able to get out of the marriage." Taehyun explained.
It was.... that easy??
"I'll explain you how exactly you should make the unbreakable vow. Most probably Jungkook should do it. You earlier mentioned that he had a girlfrie-" I scoffed to interrupt Taehyun's speech.
"What?" Taehyun spat.
"Girlfriend." I scoffed, sarcastically.
"Yeah, Jungkook's girlfrie-" I cut in. "He doesn't have a girlfriend." Taehyun stared at me for a few seconds, clueless. "But you said-"
"I know. Apparently Jungkook reminded me that he never said that he loved a girl. He's going out with Kim Taehyung, that half-blood Gryffindor 7th year." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh..." Taehyun did seem a little surprised. However, he was not as astonished as I was, discovering Jungkook's secret.
"Anyway," Taehyun continued from where he left earlier, "Since Jungkook already has a boyfriend, this makes our plan easier."
"Yeah..." That's all I could say.
"Y/n..." Taehyun called out, in his gentle voice. I turned to him. "All I can see here is Jungkook's profit, no offense or anything. But, it all goes for Jungkook's favour. He gets to break of his marriage, he loves someone else and all those stuff..."
I sniggered.
"You think I'm doing this for charity?" I smirked. Taehyun let out a small chuckle. "I don't expect you to." He replied. "Jungkook has something that I want." I said, determined.
"Oh." Taehyun replied. He most probably didn't want to invade my personal space and interrogate about stuff that didn't concern him. However something compelled me to rely the information to him.
What could go wrong?
I know about his secret, it's alright if he knows about mind...right?
"Don't you wanna ask what it is?" I asked. "What is it?" Taehyun finally questioned. "A time-turner." I stated. "what?" Taehyun jumped in shock.
"Why are you so surprised. Oh yeah, you half-bloods won't be aware of it. However, the pure-bloods posses a great deal of such magical items." I said, with pride.
"Still going on with your pure-blood nonsense?" Taehyun wearily said. "Don't you dare-" I pointed my index finger at Taehyun, threateningly. Taehyun hurriedly raised his arms, as a gesture of surrendering.
"Well, sorry, sorry, I forgot how you people care about blood purity." Taehyun said before lowering his arms. "This is why people say that people like us shouldn't engage with people like you." I said, through gritted teeth.
"But you're still talking to me even after the objective of our meeting has already been met." Taehyun shrugged. Before I could throw an insult at him, he spoke again. "I've gotta go, I have some work to be taken care of." Taehyun stood straight.
"Bye, Y/n." Taehyun flashed a smile before leaving.
Smile? Why did he smile? Do we have such a relationship where we smile at each other??
I realised that I was standing there for too long and hence, started for my common room. My mind just lingered around Taehyun's smile. I was so invested in it that I paid no heed to the little students running past me. Usually, I would hex them for fun.

Why did he smile tho. He has a nice smile tho- I mentally slapped myself. Tf did I say??
Something is wrong with me. Why am I even thinking about his smile. No wait I'm just thinking about his smile because we are sort of enemies and it isn't like us to smile at each other...right?
I reach our common room.
Do boys smile at girls so easily? Am I overthinking? But he smiled and that too, so sweet- SHUT THE FUCK UP. Okay, let's consult Caspian. He's a guy. He'd know if his lot smiles at people so easily.
Ignoring everyone else around, I rushed to the boy's dormitory. The guys did seem a little surprised to see me here, but, I couldn't care less. I don't usually come here. The first and last time I visited Caspian's dormitory was in the 4th year.
But I know which one his is.
I hurried to his room. I tried to open the door. But it wouldn't move. It's as if conscience left my mind that I couldn't even have the thought that Caspian might not be in here or something.
"Alohamora."
I swung my wand and shoved it back after the work was done. I pushed the door while Hwang Hyunjin, a 6th year Slytherin chaser called out my name from somewhere in the background. "Y/n, WAIT-"
But I didn't mind it even the slightest bit as the door infront of me flung open.
My mind was out of place.
But the sight that I came across made my mind even go more out of place. It was the most shocked I've been in all these days.
The room was dimly lit and Caspian was snogging. That wasn't a big deal as Caspian wants to put his mouth in the mouth of every other girl he sees. But what astonished me was the face of whom he was snogging.
Ivy.
"Caspian?!" I shrieked.
They hadn't noticed my presence until they heard me yell. They released each other, hurriedly. "Y-y/n." Ivy was as surprised to see me as I was to catch them in this situation.
"Tf is going on?!" I demanded an explanation.
I swear they never had anything going on. Caspian had always been a fuckboy who was willing to get any girl and every girl to warm up his bed. He was quite popular as well.
On the other hand, Ivy always recieved confessions and gifts. She was the most popular 6th year Slytherin, however, she never agreed to be anyone's girlfriend.
These two never got on the same terms... though Caspian seemed to be flirting with Ivy sometimes. I always assumed he was fooling around...how?!

"So? When did this start?" I questioned as everyone had settled down. I sat on one of the beds in the room while the other two were seated on the bed across me, looking guilty.
"4th year." Ivy mumbled.
"But...why? Did you hit your head somewhere ?" I don't know what I think about this whole situation. "Don't say it like that! I like her very much! She's-" Caspian protested but I didn't let him finish his sentence.
"I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to her." I snapped. "Come on, y/n, he's not that bad! He just jokes around to make me jealous. He has never engaged in anything with any other girl." Ivy explained.
Come to think of it, she's right.
I've always heard how Caspian was lusting over other girls when Ivy's around. But, he never even touched any girl.
I sighed, defeated.
"Are you two serious about this whole thing?" My eyes travelled from one of them to the other. Both of them nodded instantly. "If that's what y'all want...." Though this still seems like a improbable situation, I have no choice but to accept them.
"Just don't break up... I don't want to get stuck in an awkward position." I warned.
Both of them beamed at my words.
