It was the evening of the party, and Indigo was almost ready. Her voluminous, curly black hair was elegantly styled back with snake hairpins. She wore an army green t-shirt dress featuring her favorite band, which ended just above her thighs. Complementing the dress was a black leather skirt and a spiky green thigh garter. To complete her ensemble, she donned fishnet stockings and black platform Mary Janes, along with her Slytherin rings.

Indigo was already taking shots of fire whiskey, its cinnamon flavor sliding down her throat with surprising smoothness. "Ugh, that tastes awful," she gagged slightly, but took two more shots anyway.

Pansy entered the dorm and halted, taking in Indigo's look. "Oh my, Indigo, you look amazing," she grinned, stepping closer to hold Indigo's shoulders from behind. "Need help with your makeup?" Pansy inquired, guiding Indigo to sit at the vintage vanity. Indigo nodded, and Pansy took her place in front of her, expertly applying makeup. She began with Indigo's almond-shaped eyes, skillfully applying winged eyeliner and creating a stunning smoky eye look.

Pansy had taught Indigo about eye makeup at the start of her fourth year, after catching her in the girls' bathroom one day. Indigo watched Pansy, who focused intently on her face. "Hey, Pansy..." Indigo smirked, preparing to say something cheeky. Pansy looked up, her eyes wide with curiosity as she finished applying black lipstick, giving Indigo a Shego-like appearance. "Yes, Indie?" she replied, sitting on the edge of Indigo's bed.

Indigo rose to adjust her outfit and turned to face Pansy, placing her hand on Pansy's cheek. She could feel the warmth radiating from Pansy's skin. The liquid courage from the whiskey surged through her, making her feel invincible. "Remember that night we got drunk on fire whiskey and hooked up?" Indigo teased, noticing Pansy's face flush. "Uh, n-no, I d-don't know what y-you're talking about," Pansy stammered, prompting Indigo's smirk to widen as she held Pansy's chin. "Maybe if you drink enough tonight, we could recreate that," she suggested, teasingly walking out of the dorm and leaving Pansy blushing.

...

As she descended the stairs, the music was already blaring, reverberating off the walls. The common room was packed with Slytherins and students from other houses. Indigo caught sight of Ginny and Luna sharing a kiss on the sofa. "I knew those two had a thing for each other," she thought, just as a hand slipped around her waist, causing her to flinch.

Indigo swiftly turned, brushing the hand off her hip to find Cedric smiling at her with his signature grin that could light up any room. He tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear, still smiling. "Hello, darling," he said in a playful, seductive tone. She chuckled, taking his hand in hers and feeling the softness of his grip before looking up into his grey eyes. "Hello, Mr. Cedric, or should I say Cedrunk?" she teased. Cedric laughed, "I'm not that drunk; I'm mostly high, thanks to the twins." He gestured toward George and Fred, who were lounging on the stage they had set up.

One summer, at the Burrow, Indigo, Ginny, and the twins had formed a band after Indigo introduced them to some Muggle music, which they fell in love with. They called themselves "Wicked," and Indigo was the lead singer, with George on drums, Fred on guitar, and Ginny on bass. They had to persuade Ginny to join, but once she saw the attention they garnered at Hogwarts, she was all in.

Seeing the twins wave at her, Indigo nodded and turned back to Cedric. "I'll talk to you later, alright?" He nodded and kissed her cheek. "Come find me later," he winked, and Indigo rolled her eyes, a smile lingering from his kiss.

Just as she reached the twins, a firm grip caught her wrist. "Oh Godric, Ced, I told youβ€”" she started, only to see a drunken Ron standing there. "What do you want?" she asked, yanking her wrist free as he slurred his words. The scent of her perfume lingered on him, leading Indigo to think, 'Is he wearing my perfume? How cute.' She blushed slightly but quickly brushed it off.

Ron steadied himself by holding onto her shoulder. "what were you doing with that... hufflebitch?" he asked, and Indigo chuckled at his jealousy, hiding her smile. She pushed his hand off her shoulder, holding him steady as memories of their past echoed in her mind. "Why do you care? We aren't together... you told me not to tell anyone , remember?" she snapped, crossing her arms defiantly.

Ron sighed, struggling to find the right words. "Indigo, please, I didn't mean it like thatβ€”" she cut him off. "Don't finish that sentence or I might actually forgive you. You hurt me, Ron. You broke my heart... I'm in love with you, and you messed with my head." She quickly wiped away a tear that threatened to fall before he noticed. Ron stood there, unsure of how to respond, his drunkenness clouding his comprehension. He touched her cheeks gently, rubbing them with his thumbs. "Bunny... please can we talk?" he stammered, but her stomach fluttered at his touch. She pushed him gently onto the couch. "You're drunk, Ron. You probably won't even remember this tomorrow. That's why I'm telling you." She kissed the top of his head before walking away, leaving him feeling defeated.

The twins noticed her expression as she approached them. "Were you talking to Ron?" George asked, concern etched on his face. "You know Ron can be a bit foolish sometimes, butβ€”" Fred added, placing a hand on Indigo's shoulder. George continued, "He likes you a lot. He won't stop talking about you in the dorms; it's kind of annoying." They hugged her tightly, and she felt the warmth of their brotherly affection. Shocked, she thought, 'He likes me? No way!' A smile crept across her face as she felt her cheeks warm with embarrassment. "Look, George, you made her blush," Fred teased, still holding her close.

"Ugh, let go, you two buffoons! You'll suffocate me!" Indigo exclaimed, trying to free herself from their grasp. They both replied in unison, "Never!" before releasing her and patting her head playfully. "Okay, shorty, we're going on. You coming?" Fred asked, resting his arm on her head. "Just because I'm short doesn't mean I won't hurt you," Indigo retorted, scowling at both of them.

She locked eyes with them, her infamous death stare sending a shiver down their spines. "Sorry, just trying to defuse the tension," Fred said, removing his arm and jumping onto the stage, which was already set up with equipment.

Suddenly, someone bumped into Indigo from behind. "Blimey!" she exclaimed, turning to see a slightly tipsy Ginny. "Oh, hello, beautiful," Ginny said, cupping Indigo's cheeks and giving her a quick peck on the lips. Indigo's eyes widened in surprise. "Ginny! What theβ€”" she started, taken aback by Ginny's boldness. "Shh! It's time to show everyone our taβ€”tala... what's the word?" Ginny stammered. "It's 'talent,' Ginny," Indigo laughed, holding her shoulders. "Yes, that word!" George chimed in, shaking his head. "You can be so oblivious sometimes; get on!" he urged, helping her onto the stage.

Indigo held Ginny's hand for a moment, wanting to ask if "Linny" was a thing now. Ginny smirked, "Maybe," her gaze drifting to Luna, who was blushing. "She's beautiful, isn't she?" Ginny said, grinning like a lovestruck fool. "Oh my, someone's in love," Indigo teased, nudging her shoulder playfully. "Fuck off, Bambi! Yep, Draco told me your nickname, and I'm using it thanks to him," Ginny replied, then hopped onto the stage.

Speaking of the devil, Draco approached Indigo with a small smile. "Good luck, Bambi. Don't slip on stage now," he chuckled. Indigo playfully punched his shoulder. "Fuck off, Dray! I won't fall. Help me, will you?" she asked, gripping his hand as he assisted her onto the stage before he wandered off to find Blasie, Goyle, and Crabbe.

Indigo felt a rush of nerves as murmurs rippled through the crowd. Biting her lip, she turned to Fred, George, and Ginny. "What do we play first?" she asked, scratching her head anxiously. "Start strong; you know the song... need another shot?" Fred replied, pouring her another drink. She nodded and downed it quickly before grabbing the microphone. Ginny plugged in her bass, and Indigo faced the audience.

She tapped the mic, and the feedback echoed throughout the room. "Hello, everyone! Thank you for coming to our Slytherin common room party," she announced. Cheers erupted, and she noticed Draco cheering the loudest. "Our band is called Wicked; thank you!" she said, signaling George to start the drums. He began, and Indigo sang, "Well, are you, Fred?" "Yeah!" he replied, and she turned to George. "How about you, Georgie?" he smiled. "Oh, I'm their baby!" A chorus of girls screamed after George's introduction, and Indigo turned to Ginny. "How about you, Ginny?" Ginny chuckled, "Fucken ready!"

Before Indigo could start her line, she noticed Ron moving closer to the stage, watching her intently from about seven feet away. This was her opportunity to show him what he was missing. "I think I'm alright," Fred started the countdown. "One, two, three, four!" he played a mini solo while Indigo danced on stage. "Yeah, three, two, one, we came to fuck..." As she sang, she felt the rhythm and began to sensually dance, running her hands down her body, igniting the crowd's excitement.

Ron's gaze was fixed on Indigo, and it felt as though they were the only two people in the room. He looked slightly irritated at the attention she was garnering, and she relished every moment. She swayed her hips to the music, and as they played together, she sang, "Gimme, gimme some of that Vampire Money, come on!" Indigo kept the energy high, and Fred and Ginny showcased their solos, back-to-back, as a group of students surged into Ron, prompting a soft giggle from her as she continued to fixate on him.

The crowd erupted with cheers for Ginny and Fred, and as their solo concluded, it was her cue. "Fuck her like Bowie in the morning sun." Indigo locked eyes with Ron, watching as he grew increasingly flustered. The song was drawing to a close, and she could already feel beads of sweat forming.

"Damn, it's hot," Indigo said, fanning herself as she took a sip of water, wiping the sweat from her brow. She surveyed the enthusiastic crowd and noticed Cho Chang waving at her. Cho moved in front of Indigo and gestured for her to lean down. "Could you do me a huge favor? I'll owe you," Cho whispered. Indigo nodded, smiling. "Of course, but only if you ask Harry to dance," she replied, blushing at the thought as Cho nodded and walked over to Harry.

"Alright, friends, we're going to slow it down a bit," Indigo announced with a smile. Ginny tapped Indigo's shoulder and whispered, "Ron's watching you. Maybe since you're, you know, sweating, you should..." Ginny pretended to take off her shirt, making Indigo nervous, but she nodded as the music began, casting a charm to turn the lights red.

Ginny started on her bass, George moved to the piano, and Fred took his place on guitar. Indigo began to sing a soft melody, recalling a night when she had sung Ron to sleep. He had told her she had the voice of an angel. "You can't pretend you don't miss me." As Indigo danced slowly, she observed everyone pairing off, except for Ron, who continued drinking and watching her intently. "All you wanna do is kiss me, oh, what a shame I'm not there." Slowly, she removed her shirt, dropping it gently onto the stage, her eyes locked onto Ron as she sang. "What is it you want? You can lie, but I know that you're not fine."

Tension built between them with every glance exchanged. "Every time you talk, it's all about me, but you swear I'm not on your mind." Indigo felt her cheeks flush with excitement at the attention, which empowered her.

Her gaze shifted through the crowd, and she swore she caught Cedric staring intently at her while dancing with Romilda Vane. Panic surged through her. 'Why is he looking at me? Does he like me? Merlin's beard!' Indigo made direct eye contact with Ron, smirking as she continued, "Everybody knows." She bit her lip, running her hands through her hair. "You and I are suicidal, stolen art, mmhm." Indigo moaned into the mic to capture his attention. She watched as he rubbed his chin, the tension palpable, and then he balled his fist, making his way toward her dorm room. A smile of triumph crossed her face, though she thought, 'Oh no, he looks upset.'

As the song concluded, she smiled at the crowd, who began chanting the band's name, "Wicked! Wicked! Wicked!" Indigo chuckled, glancing over her shoulder. "Break time! I need to take care of something," she said, flashing a nervous smile. Ginny nodded, "Sure, I'll ask Luna to cover for you." Ginny signaled for Luna to join her on stage, and Indigo retrieved her t-shirt as she jumped off the stage, weaving through the crowd toward the stairs leading to her dorm.
