Chapter 3
Sirius Black was pacing the floor in his God sons room. He had been in this strange world for two years and had finally gotten used to speaking to many species. His favorite by far to talk to was Admiral Ackbar who had a fish head. Sirius chuckled as he remembered how Admiral Ackbar had wacked him on the back of his head for saying that to him not long after he had arrived when going through the veil. He also hated to admit that he hoped that James and Lily would be here and not dead, but Luke and his sister, Leia assured him that they weren't. What Luke didn't know was that Leia had sent messages all over the galaxy asking about an arrival of a couple 14 years previously. The reply was unanimous. No one had. She didn't feel that she needed to tell Sirius as he slowly adjusted to still being alive in this place.
Sirius came to a stop when he heard the voices. Ben was telling Harry that if he needed anything to just let someone know. He could tell that they were now outside the door and he held his breath waiting for the door to open.
Rey came through the door first followed by Ben. Then there was his godson, Harry. Sirius' eyes widened as he looked at Harry for the first time in over two years. He looked so much like James it was almost uncanny, except the eyes, of course. They were Lily's. "Harry" he whispered.
Harry gasped as he looked at Sirius. "This is impossible" he yelled.
"Ask me something that only I would know" Sirius replied.
Harry nodded and drew his wand. "What did Sirius Black give me on Christmas Day when I was in fifth year?"
Sirius smirked. "A two way mirror so we could communicate."
Harry's wand lowered a bit, but he didn't put it away. "I started easy, but now, here is the hardest question. What did Sirius Black tell me in the room with the family wall?"
"You're not a bad person, Harry. You're a really good person that bad things have happened to. The world isn't made up of death eaters and light. We all have a little bit of both inside us. What matters is what we act upon."
Harry nodded as he put away his wand, smiling at Sirius. Sirius grinned back and stepped forward and the two met in the middle, hugging. "How did you get here?" Harry asked.
"It was when I went through the veil caused by my blasted cousin. One minute I am looking at your stricken face, the next I am face to face with Luke Skywalker."
"I remember that day" Rey added with a laugh. "You were in master Luke's hut and Mara was there."
Harry raised his brow but Sirius shook his head. "I don't want to remember that. It was almost as bad as walking in on James and Lily at the end of seventh year in the dormitories."
"Thankfully that didn't happen to me" Harry said almost visualizing what Sirius had gone through. He had accidentally walked in on his aunt and uncle when he was 2 years old. At the time he didn't know what was happening. He only heard the moans and the creek of the bed springs as his uncle moved over his aunt. But after being with Ginny for only a short time, he understood what was happening. He frowned as he remembered that was when he got moved to the cupboard under the stairs.
"We will leave you two to catch up" Ben said grabbing Rey's arm, but Sirius and Harry asked them to stay. "You should know what's happening where we are from" Harry added. "According to Luke, Hermione asked him for his help. I don't know what help that will be, but either way, you should know."
"Is it worse?" Sirius asked.
Harry nodded. "I will pick up at the beginning of sixth year. I'm pretty sure that Sirius has caught you up to spread before then, right?"
"Yes" Ben said just as Luke walked in. "Before you begin, Harry, I heard from Hermione. She is on the hunt now with Fred, George and Ron."
Harry nodded. "Good. Sixth year begins with Dumbledore finding me in a cafe at night and taking me to meet Horace Slugghorn."
"Professor Slugghorn?" Sirius asked.
"Yes. He was staying in a house that belonged to some muggles who were on holiday to the cannary Islands. He had been hiding from the death eaters for a couple years. Anyways, Dumbledore wanted to speak to him and try to convince him to come back to Hogwarts. Slugghorn had refused but Dumbledore thought after meeting me he would change his mind, which he did."
Sirius chuckled. "Famous Harry Potter is hard to refuse."
"After we left, Dumbledore explained to me that it was imperative that Slugghorn return to Hogwarts but he didn't explain. Instead he took me to the Burrow for the rest of the summer. Hermione was already there. That was also when I noticed Ginny for the first time."
Sirius roared with laughter. He remembered Ginny and always hoped that Harry would get with Ginny.
"Not long after I got there, Hogwarts letters arrived and we went to Diagon Alley to get our school supplies. I had gotten passing grades in all classes except potions which was Exceeds expectations, so I didn't get any potions material thinking I wouldn't be able to fulfill my goal of being an auror. While we were in Diagon Alley, we saw Draco Malfoy with his mother. They had gone inside Borgin and Burke's and was looking at a cabinet. Oh, I forgot to mention that Lucious Malfoy was in Azkaban. Anyways, Greyback was there along with other death eaters." Sirius gasped. "Wait? Are you saying Draco Malfoy is a death eater?"
"That's what it looked like to me, but Hermione and Ron didn't think so. Hermione begged me to forget what I had seen, but I didn't listen. It was a good thing to. Things started happening at Hogwarts almost right away. Horace Slugghorn was now the potions professor and Severus Snape was professor of Defense against the dark arts. Professor Slugghorn took students that got exceeds expectations in potions so I was able to take potions again, but I didn't have the book. I was able to borrow a book from the cabinet. Got one that belonged to the half blood prince. Hermione hated that book because there was written instructions in the book to make better potions. I found it very helpful, except there was a spell written in there called sectumsempra."
"No" Sirius yelled and Harry nodded. Ben, Rey and Luke was confused. "Why do you say that, Sirius?" Luke asked.
"You'll find out" Harry said. "We went to Hogsmead and it was snowing and on our way back, we were walking behind Katie Bell and another girl, Lillian. Lillian was telling Katie not to open the package she was carrying but Katie said she knew what she was doing. There was a cursed necklace inside the package. Hagrid showed up and carried Katie to the hospital wing. We were taken to Professor McGonagall. Lillian explained how Katie got the necklace and who it was meant to go to; professor Dumbledore. I naturally blamed Draco Malfoy.l, but since there was no proof, nothing was done about it.
Well word had gotten out that I was destined as the chosen one and all the girls kept trying to eat to me. I received candy almost everyday, but I never ate any of it. Ron did though which I didn't mind. I was also taking lessons with Dumbledore during the evenings. He was showing me memories about Voldemort. After one lesson Dumbledore explained that Horace Slugghorn had a memory that he needed and it was vital in fighting Voldemort. When I asked Slugghorn about it, he got angry and practically threw me out. When I got back to the dorm, Ron was acting really strange. I realized the candy that Ron had ate had been spiked with love potion. I took Ron to Professor Slugghorn and he made a remedy quickly. He then poured all three of us a goblet of matured mead. Ron drank his right away and promptly collapsed, foaming at the mouth. I found a bezoar and put it in Ron's mouth then called for Madam Pomfrey. He had been poisoned."
"But why didn't it affect you or Slugghorn?" Sirius asked.
"They hadn't drank any" Rey spoke up. "It was in the drink."
"Yes. It was given to Slugghorn to give to Dumbledore."
"Wait" Sirius yelled. "Someone is trying to kill Dumbledore?"
"Yes. Anyways after Ron got out of the hospital, I finally convinced Slugghorn to give me the memory he had been holding on to." Harry knew he was skipping over a lot of the story but time was of the essence. Plus he couldn't believe his godfather was actually alive still. "When I returned to Dumbledore with the memory, we both went into the pensieve. What we learned was not what Dumbledore expected. I felt dumb for asking Dumbledore what it was. Voldemort had asked Slugghorn about Horcruxes and how they were made." Sirius gasped and his face went pale. Ben, Rey and Luke looked confused. "Horcruxes are made when you murder someone in cold blood" Sirius said to the three Jedi. "A piece of your soul will attach itself to an object so of you're attacked, you can't be harmed."
" Yes" Harry said. "Dumbledore showed me Tom Riddles, who is Voldemort by the way, his diary and a ring. I destroyed the diary in second year and Dumbledore destroyed the ring. As far as we can tell, he made six. Doesn't seem likely he made seven."
"What happens if one makes seven?" Luke asked.
"It rips ones soul completely" Harry said. "Anyways, Dumbledore had located another Horcrux so he and I went to get it. We went to a cave. In order to get inside, blood had to be shed, so Dumbledore cut his hand. I tried to get him to use mine, but he refused. Said my blood was purer. We took a boat across the lake where a fountain was. Dumbledore drank the potion that was inside. It did terrible things to him. He had made me promise to make him keep drinking it no matter what. I hated myself for it. After he drank the last cup, he started asking for water. I grabbed the locket from the fountain and tried to conjure water but I couldn't scoop it up. I went to the lake and got water but a hand grabbed me. Within seconds we were surrounded by inferie. Dumbledore managed to get enough strength to get us out of there and back to Hogwarts. I tried to get him to go to Madam Pomphrey , but he kept asking for Snape. Just then the door opened and Dumbledore told me to hide. Draco Malfoy appeared with his wand pointed at Dumbledore. He disarmed Dumbledore just as Greyback, Bellatrix, Yaxley and Dolohov appeared. They kept telling him to finish it, to kill Dumbledore, but he couldn't. Then Snape appeared. Dumbledore begged Snape not to, but Snape killed Dumbledore. I watched from below."
Sirius was shaking in anger by that time. "HE DID WHAT" he screamed.
"I chased Snape and tried to use the spells from the book I had gotten at the start of term. That was when I learned that Snape is the half blood prince. He left with Draco and the others. I made my way back to Hogwarts to where Dumbledore was laying on the ground. All the teachers, staff and students was on the ground. Dumbledore had the locket in his hand and I took it from him. It wasn't even the real thing. It was a fake." Harry then went into his rucksack and pulled the locket out and handed it to Sirius. "Go ahead. Open it."
Sirius took the locket and opened it and pulled the piece of paper out.
"To the dark Lord, I know I will be dead long before you read this but I want you to know that it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet your match, you will be mortal once more. R.A.B."
"Reg" Sirius whispered.
"Who?" Harry asked.
"My brother, Regulas Black. He was killed just before your parents. We never found his body."
"So kreacher may have the real Horcrux then."
"I will message Hermione" Luke said leaving the room.
Sirius pulled Harry against his side and held him close. "I'm so sorry" Sirius whispered.
"It's not your fault" Rey said. "But I do wonder why Harry was sent here. Shouldn't he be there looking for the Horcruxes?"
"He will be" Luke said coming back into the room. "Harry, Hermione messaged back. She said that Kreacher doesn't have the locket, that Mundungus Fletcher took it. She sent Kreacher to find him. Also, Rey, Harry will be looking for the Horcruxes. I am to teach him meditation. He will return when it's time to finish off Voldemort."
"At least I get to kill the monster who killed my parents" Harry said. "I hate to do it though. I don't want to kill anyone."
"That's why Harry" Luke said. "You hate it. No one enjoys killing except those who do. Voldemort. Palpatine. Snoke. They will kill or have killed anyone who gets in their way."
With that Luke left the room again followed by Ben and Rey. Once alone, Sirius looked at Harry. "Now, tell me about Remus."
